HR Coordinator 

Location: Based at one of our Centre 33 hubs (Huntingdon, Peterborough, Cambridge or Ely) 

Salary: £26,000 to £28,000

Hours 32-35 hours per week

The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for the HR Administration requirements for Centre 33, including recruitment, training coordination and maintenance of the HR database. As well as supporting the HR Senior Officer with the day to day running of the HR Service. 

If you are passionate about people, highly efficient and the ability to develop great working relationships with others, this position could be for you. You will act as the first point of contact for all recruitment and HR related queries from employees and volunteers. You will represent Centre 33 in your communications and be an approachable and open individual with great attention to detail conforming to employment law and internal polices. Ideally you will have experience with HR procedures and can juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner. 

his role will work to Centre 33's values of being young people led, collaborative, inclusive and striving for excellence. You will also be an exemplar of our relevant polices, compliance and standards to help build a team culture.

Pensions

Further information

Hours: 14 hours per week (through an annualised hours working pattern).

Location: Remote working although the successful candidate will be expected to work from Cumberland Lodge a minimum of one day per month.  Applicants should be aware that Cumberland Lodge is not easily accessible by public transport, so alternative forms of transport (bicycle, car) are helpful.

As our Service Charge Analyst, you won’t just crunch numbers; you’ll dig deeper. Visiting sites, verifying data, and thinking beyond the surface, you’ll uncover the true story behind service charge schedules. Working closely with Asset teams and leadership, you’ll help future-proof our processes — ensuring accurate apportionments aligned with tenancy and lease agreements. Your efforts will directly impact customers, safeguarding fairness and improving data integrity across Accent.

Salary

The salary for the Service Charge Analyst post is £33,195 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants, who do not meet all the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.

About you

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in service charge management, finance, or property services within the housing or real estate sector. Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail are essential, along with the ability to interpret complex data and identify discrepancies. A solid understanding of housing management systems, asset hierarchies, leasehold frameworks, and service charge obligations within Tenancy Agreements is required. Proficiency in Excel, finance systems, and housing management software is expected, as is the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a range of stakeholders. The role also demands a collaborative, customer-focused approach and the ability to work confidently with both internal teams and external partners.

Service Charge Analyst Interviews

Interviews will take place via teams and will involve a role related data analysis scenario which will be released prior to the interview and a competency interview. Candidates will also complete a Customer Service questionnaire.

Role Purpose:

This role manages the UK digital team, driving our digital presence. It requires a strong digital team manager to oversee the UK digital team and channels, including website, social media, email marketing and paid digital advertising, to reach new target audiences, grow engagement, and digital income.

The role line manages the Website Manager, an Email Marketing Officer, and a Social Media & Paid Ad Manager. The role involves mentoring the team, planning multi-channel campaigns, approving content, advising on copy and tone of voice, and ensuring our content performs well. The role drives a high-quality and consistent online experience across all the digital areas, and ensures all our digital content is well planned, cohesive and on-brand.

You will also be part of a project to scale digital advertising, mentoring our Social Media & Paid Ads Manager to work with our digital marketing agency and our fundraising acquisition manager.

The role works collaboratively across the FundComms department to deliver digital activity and supporter journeys that support fundraising campaigns and appeals, as well as awareness and educating audiences on the issues faced by people after disaster.

Who are we looking for?

ShelterBox is looking for a strong and experienced digital team leader, ideally with experience of working in digital at a charity to drive digital reach and engagement. You'll have an up-to-date understanding of digital channels and delivering digital campaigns (organic social, email, website and paid advertising). You are passionate about creating and growing high-quality online experiences.

You're great at writing for digital, understand ethical storytelling, and will be able to coach the team on creating copy, ensuring our brand tone of voice, approving content across all of our digital channels.

You've delivered (either in-house or with an agency) successful digital advertising campaigns, ideally for fundraising. You've worked with digital agencies.

You are experienced in taking a data and evidence-based approach, testing, gathering insights and driving improvements that improve user experience and conversion rates.

You're great at building strong, constructive relationships with colleagues across the organisation, confidently managing differing perspectives and ensuring focus stays on the right priorities. You should be able to challenge and redirect when needed, using evidence to keep projects on track.

This role is full of variety, working collaboratively with other teams to deliver a range of digital projects. You will join a friendly and vibrant Fundraising & Communications department in our mission to make ShelterBox a household name and raise money to fund emergency shelter after disaster.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

Digital marketing and strategy

* Oversee our digital channels, including:

* Social media for organic reach and engagement and developing fresh approaches as algorithms change.

*. Email marketing, increasing email engagement, boosting income, and improving retention.

* Website, ensuring all web pages are written for digital audiences and fully optimised for search.

* Paid digital ads - as part of a project group alongside fundraising colleagues, the Social and Paid Advertising Manager, and an external agency, play an active role in the project to upscale digital ads and performance marketing to drive income.

* Ensure budget is allocated efficiently and delivering value.

* Provide quality control across web, email and social - coaching your team on copy, tone of voice and visual aspects of our digital work.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver the community fundraising strategy in the South Lancashire region. Most importantly you should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to build long lasting relationships, and have the ability to engage with a wide range of audiences. In addition experience in developing and delivering plans, managing budgets and financial forecasting would be advantageous as well as working with databases.

GUCE Programme Lead Role

Community Energy is gaining momentum nationally, where people are increasingly coming together to take control of their own energy.  Grand Union Community Energy (GUCE, pronounced “juice”) is looking to see local communities along the Grand Union canal in Hertfordshire enjoy a clean and resilient energy system that benefits all.  We develop, support and promote renewable energy and energy efficiency projects for  communities from Watford to Tring, and build householder resilience by helping them reduce their bills and energy use.

We are seeking a Programme Lead for two days a week to manage the day-to-day running of the team and organisation and keep us on track as we navigate an exciting time of growth and development - supporting us to fulfil our overall objectives. Depending on the skills of the applicant the same individual could also cover aspects of other roles we are looking to fill.

About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a person to take on a key role in GUCE’s  small but expanding team. The Programme Lead will be responsible creating a structure and policies for GUCE to grow and hit our mission.

As our Programme Lead you will play a leading role in delivering our contribution to the two-year National Lottery funded project ‘Community Energy People’.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Forecasting finances for GUCE as a whole.

• Report to funders.

• Framework for connecting and working with sub-groups, e.g. EcoBerko and Watford.

• Updating and maintaining the Business Plan.

Location: Home-working, ideally within the GUCE catchment area from Watford to Tring.

You will need to travel to meet stakeholders, attend relevant meetings and visit potential sites. You may be called upon to work outside office hours.  Reasonable travel expenses will be covered and the job holder would be expected to provide their own method of travel.

Contractual arrangements: 12 months fixed term with the option to extend, subject to 3 months’ probation.

There is a notice period of four weeks from both sides

Holidays: The equivalent of 28 days per annum excluding Bank Holidays, pro-rata for the part-time nature of the post.
