We are seeking a flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic Sessional Worker to support the delivery of services for Young Carers aged 5–16. The role involves two key parts. The first is helping to deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote wellbeing, reduce isolation, and give Young Carers a break from their responsibilities. The second is supporting with outreach to local schools, colleges, community settings and professionals to identify and engage Young Carers.
About The Role:
You will work across two key age groups, 5–11 and 12–16, delivering and supervising activities, supporting events and trips, and providing behavioural management where needed. You will deliver awareness training sessions, run stalls and aim to identify and engage Young Carers in the community. You will also help ensure young Carers feel heard, included, and supported as they navigate the challenges of their caring roles. This is a sessional role, therefore hours are not guaranteed but will be offered based on project need.

By providing high quality governance and administrative support you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organisation. Key Tasks
Overseeing our Governance & Administration:
- You will organise and service the Trustee Board and Board Committee meetings, including agendas, minute-taking, follow-ups on actions, ensuring compliance with governing documents and charity law.
- Be the key contact for trustees, including overseeing their recruitment, induction and training.
- Better connect our governance and management processes through improving alignment of our Trustee and management reporting cycles and coordinating meetings and the delivery of Exec reports.

Richmond Borough Mind is a vibrant local charity that has been supporting and providing services for adults affected by mental health problems and their carers for over 60 years.
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Adults Peer Support Worker to join our busy Peer Support team. You will have your own lived experience of mental health issues and be able to use this experience as well as your professional skills and knowledge to support others.
RB Mind has run effective peer-led services for many years. The role will be supported by RB Mind Senior Peer Support Workers, and the Peer Support Coordinator in South West London St George’s Mental Health Trust (SWLStG). Successful candidates will receive comprehensive training and clinical supervision.
With the expansion of our work in this area we aim to reduce waiting times, reduce the number of people going into crisis, address inequalities and support transitions from youth to adult services. We offer holistic and personalised care and support to service users.
The role has its own caseload and provides a range of support and person-centred interventions to meet these needs, which could include group support, one-to-one interventions and signposting where specialist advice is needed.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about motivating and coaching individuals with mental health issues, and able to support people on their journey to recovery. As well as having an empathy with the core values of RB Mind, the successful applicant will have the skills to provide person-centred support through one-to-one sessions and facilitating groups. The Barnsley Street Project is a pilot service funded by NHS money following a bid by East London NHS Foundation Trust (ELFT). The service comprises of Look Ahead staff, ELFT staff, and Tower Hamlets Mental Health VCSE Alliance, formed of 17 local VCSE organisations. The Barnsley Street Project operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide support for people in the catchment area of one primary care network in Bethnal Green, Tower Hamlets. It provides a variety of psychosocial and clinical interventions, including the provision of 6 Hospitality Beds for short term support and intervention.
Support Workers within the Barnsley Street Project will be expected to support individuals requiring support from the local community that walk in to the service and those staying in our hospitality beds. This support may include providing tailored and co-produced practical, emotional, trauma-informed support to individuals with a variety of challenges relating to their mental health. This may include the management of symptoms, social support, navigating benefits and welfare systems, practical skills and signposting to specialist services in the local authority for intensive or specific support as required.
The shift pattern for this role involves two 13-hour shifts per week (07:30-20:30), including Wednesdays.

About the role
The Support Coach role involves:
- Supporting volunteer facilitators by coaching them through the opportunities, challenges and obstacles of running a Kids Matter programme
- Training and upskilling facilitators by helping run events and develop new resources
- Working with the wider Kids Matter team to encourage and strengthen Kids Matter’s church partnerships
At Kids Matter, we are committed to delivering effective coaching. All Support Coaches are given the opportunity to go through the coaching accreditation process with ICF to become an Associate Certified Coach (ACC). Kids Matter provides the support and supervision for this to take place, and will cover the cost of the accreditation if the individual remains employed as a Support Coach for the two years following applying for accreditation. If the individual leaves before two years, a percentage of the accreditation cost will be required to pay back.

Bank Support Workers have the ability to accept any shifts available on an ad-hoc basis across from all of Look Ahead's specialisms including Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, Homelessness and Young People. Bank Support Workers will provide support to customers to help them develop the life skills they require to meet the assessed needs of the customers of the service. They will work with customers to promote social inclusion and alongside other members of the team to promote independent living, encouraging customers to maximise their skills and choices. Within Learning Disability services, this will include providing physical, domestic, emotional and social care. Within Mental Health and Homelessness services they will enable vulnerable people living in a variety of different tenures to manage their tenancies/ licences and move towards greater independence within the community by providing a flexible and individually tailored support package. While carrying out activities, Bank Support Workers should deal with all customers, visitors and staff in a professional and appropriate manner and report to Look Ahead staff and management any observations relating to customers' welfare.

Tabard Court is a mental health supported accommodation for individual with significant offending histories. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team, providing support to customers with a range of mental health needs - emotional, social, physical or domestic -, who have had contact with the Criminal Justice System. You will be skilled in engaging both customers and stakeholders and have a good understanding of the needs and diversity of this client group. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to work in a therapeutic environment that at times can be challenging and provide quality evidenced based care and risk management strategies working closely with clinical colleagues. This role will include shift working including: every other weekends, early shifts (8am start) and late shifts (until 10pm).
