This role oversees delivery of the Trusts and Foundations strategy, including researching and identifying suitable prospects, writing funding applications, and account managing existing Trusts and Foundation supporters. Job Purpose

This role sits within our new forensic Women’s Nova Roots service, which is a peer led service for women who are leaving forensic services, based in West London. The service will be open 3 days a week: one weekday evening out of hours and three weekends a month (flexible weekend pattern and times can be arranged).

The aim of the service is to support women who are leaving forensic care to re-integrate into society by offering a community social hub. The focus of the service is to provide social engagement, relaxation and a touch point for out of hours forensic support. The Women’s Hub will provide face-to-face holistic group support, offer psychoeducation and health workshops tailored and coproduced to the direct needs of clients, offer peer-led groups which will be co-designed and led by the clients accessing the hub. We will also offer a range of activities onsite.

Nova Roots will be an extension of the existing support offered by the Specialist Community Forensic Team (SCFT), offering out of hours social support. All referrals into the hub will be directly from the SCFTs and local hospitals.

The Nova Roots will be staffed with 1 part time Project Coordinator and 4 Forensic/Peer Led Volunteers – with Service Manager oversight. The Project Coordinator will work directly and closely with the SCFTs.

 

The Role

The role of the Nova Roots Project Coordinator is to arrange and coordinate a range of psychoeducation, health and peer-led workshops which will be delivered 3 times a week. The Nova Roots Project Coordinator will be responsible for managing the 4 peer-led volunteers and oversight of the site 3 days a week. The Nova Roots Project Coordinator will also be required to be in regular communication with the SCFTs.

The role will require hybrid working: onsite when the hub is open and 1 day of planning/coordination which can be worked remotely on a rota basis.

In this pivotal leadership role, you’ll take the reins of our Regular giving and Lottery programme, working alongside two other senior managers responsible for our cash appeals and supporter stewardship.  You’ll have the opportunity to design and deliver innovative multi-channel campaigns that not only grow our supporter base but also deepen engagement and increase lifetime value.

The role is primarily home-based, but the team meets in person on average once a month to build relationships and discuss our strategy.  There may also be some occasional in person meetings with agencies.  We’re committed to flexible working and welcome conversations about how we can support your needs. 

About you

We’re looking for a strategic thinker and passionate leader with significant experience in individual giving or direct marketing, someone who’s ready to take the next step in their fundraising career. You are:

- Passionate about working with people, building strong relationships, and prioritising people development.  
- Data-driven, using insight to guide decisions and unlock potential.
- Skilled at managing large, multi-channel fundraising campaigns with proven success.

What you’ll focus on:

- Developing and implementing long-term strategies to recruit Regular Giving and Lottery supporters, with a focus on diversification of our channel mix.
- Leading stand-out multi-channel fundraising campaigns, including face-to-face, telemarketing, payroll giving, and lottery products.
- Managing and inspiring a team of seven, creating a culture of high performance, collaboration and celebration.
- Working across internal teams and with external partners to maximise income growth and deliver exceptional supporter experiences.

A bit about the role  

In this role of Relationship Fundraising Executive, you will support delivery of the Fundraising strategy in our communities to grow income and support for Action for Children. The role is remote working but would suit someone living in the Central Region of England.

How you'll help to create brighter futures 

• Supporting the delivery of a range of fundraising campaigns and activities across the Central Region of England that provide significant income and are in line with the relationship fundraising strategy. 
• Assisting with the stewardship of local volunteer fundraising groups, organisations, clubs, businesses in the local area to encourage further involvement in our work.
• Manage the administrative set up and support of ‘Action Squads’, i.e. volunteer led fundraising groups to help them successfully fundraise and raise awareness. 
• Working across and attending challenge events to assist the stewardship and support for sports participants, who sign up to run, walk, cycle and skydive for Action for Children across the UK. 
• Demonstrate accountability to our supporters and volunteers through an open, honest, transparent, and consistent approach.
• Supporting the delivery of set financial targets and non-financial targets and outcomes locally.
• Ensuring expected income has been received and banked within the predicted timeframes. 
• Collaborate with colleagues from within Fundraising and other departments to maximise on opportunities. 
• Manage daily processes efficiently and effectively to ensure onboarding of supporters in a timely manner. 

Let's talk about you  

• Professional Institute of Fundraising qualification (desirable) or Membership of IoF (desirable).
• Experience of delivering successful fundraising activity to achieve income growth. 
• Proven experience of networking and of developing and stewarding.
• Maintaining excellent personal relationships with senior external and internal stakeholders, donors, and volunteers. 
• Proficient in the use of Raiser’s Edge or equivalent database 
• Managing challenging and demanding situations to ensure the delivery of all events and fundraising activities.
• Ability to project manage a team of volunteers to achieve against specific financial goals where appropriate. 
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite.

Individual Giving Manager

Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the only UK-wide charity dedicated to uniting for a life unlimited for everyone affected by cystic fibrosis. This is an exciting new role to grow our individual giving programme, leading a plan to raise more income by finding new supporters and retaining the ones we already have. You’ll have the opportunity to develop new ways of fundraising and see what works best for our future.
 
You will be joining a supportive and ambitious Fundraising department as we embark on a new fundraising strategy (2025-2029), with a renewed focus on growing our supporter numbers alongside growing our income, so we can increase our impact for people with cystic fibrosis.
 
In this role, you will:

• Develop an Individual Giving strategy including short, medium and long-term acquisition and retention plans
• Set and review budgets and KPIs, tracking how well fundraising activities are doing and ensuring we are getting a good return on investment
• Use data and insight to make decisions and improve campaign outcomes
• Ensure all supporters get a warm welcome and have a good experience of the Trust
• Manage the Individual Giving team, providing line management, support and development 
• Collaborate with colleagues across the charity to help establish a Supporter Experience group focused on making sure our supporters feel thanked, inspired and proud of the difference they’re making

 
We’re looking for someone who can think strategically and is results and supporter-focused, with great leadership and relationship building skills. You will enjoy using ideas and data to help raise more money in effective and creative ways.
 
This role can be based at home or at the London office. If you are office-based, you would be expected to attend the office at least two days per week.
 
We will provide you with either London Weighting or a home allowance to support costs of travelling to work or working from home, a laptop, mobile phone and any other essential equipment needed for your role.
