About the role:

As a Christian Union Staff Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting, encouraging, and equipping students in Christian Unions (CUs) to share the gospel in their universities.

In this role, you will:

• Train and support CU leaders in evangelism, helping them to share the gospel effectively
• Work alongside CU members to reach their friends and peers with the good news of Jesus
• Support students in understanding the Bible and applying it to their lives
• Organise and facilitate training events in evangelism, leadership, and discipleship

To equip Christian Union Staff Worker's for this strategic ministry, staff follow a training curriculum covering theology, biblical studies, mission, apologetics, church history, and ministry skills. They receive ongoing support from a Team Leader and regional team, meeting regularly for study, prayer, and fellowship.

The Senior Children’s and Families Pastor is a key role within the staff team at St Stephen’s.

We are looking for someone with a passion to see children (0-11s) and their families grow as whole life disciples of Jesus, with direct experience working with children, and proven strategic leadership skills, to lead this ministry into continued growth at this exciting time for St Stephen’s.

The Fundraising Executive is responsible for supporting participant registration and income growth within Endurance Events and Friends and Family fundraising.

They will deliver Endurance Stewardship Journeys and represent Movember at third-party endurance events, providing hands-on support to inspire and engage participants. Role Purpose:

The Social Change Nest is going through a very exciting growth period and since our Head of Development is going on maternity leave for 4 months from September we are looking for somebody who can join our growing team as soon as possible. The Senior Development Manager will contribute to our FY25/26 income targets and cover part of the functions of the Head of Development while she’s on leave. The Head of Development manages the Development team, which covers the business development, marketing and communications functions, and works with the CEO to ensure that the organisation grows in a strategic and balanced way.

The Social Change Nest is onboarding and supporting hundreds of new groups every year and we are working closely with funders across the UK and worldwide, helping them move large amounts of funding to unincorporated movements at the frontlines of social change. We are spending more time than ever raising awareness on how capital flows impact the ability of communities to create change, and how we can hack the system to enable more money to flow in an equitable way to unincorporated movements.

We are looking for somebody who is excited about all this and ready to hit the ground running. We are in the middle of a large capital raise, so we would like the ideal candidate to join the team as soon as possible to work closely with the Head of Development and the CEO, as well as the rest of the Development team, for 3 months, before the Head of Development goes on maternity leave. The Senior Development Manager will then take over part of the team support responsibilities of the Head of Development and share responsibility for the income targets with the CEO for the months that the Head of Development is on leave.

About the Youth Endowment Fund

We’re here to prevent children and young people becoming involved in violence. We do this by finding out what works and building a movement to put this knowledge into practice.

 

Last year, 244 people in England and Wales tragically died after being assaulted with a knife. Of these, 32 were children. Every child captured in these numbers is an important member of our community and society has a duty to protect them. Even when violence doesn’t strike directly, we know that the fear of violence has a terrible effect on children’s lives. One in 12 women will be a victim of violence against women and girls each year in England and Wales. Our Children, Violence and Vulnerability (CVV) research with teenage children showed that 33% of teenagers have encountered online content that encourages violence against women and girls.

The Youth Endowment Fund exists to try and permanently change things. To succeed, we must build an exceptional body of knowledge about violence affecting young people and how we reduce it. This knowledge has to be both rigorous and highly relevant to those making decisions about how to support vulnerable young people. We need to find out what works and what doesn’t through evidence synthesis, data analysis and qualitative research into children’s lives. We need to convert this into highly accessible content on what works, how delivery organisations need to change their practice and how the systems they operate in need to be reformed. We then need to work with the right people that can make change happen, across systems, policies and practice, to have a real impact on reducing violence affecting children’s lives.

Violence against Young Women and Girls

At the heart of our work is getting clear on what works. We are looking for someone who can lead our research and change agenda on violence against young women and girls (VAWG). We have built the foundations of this work by:

• developing our understanding of experiences of violence through our Children, Violence and Vulnerability (CVV) research with teenage children;
• reviewing evidence on the effectiveness of interventions that aim to prevent relationship violence and violence affecting young women and girls, which is summarised in our Toolkit; and
• ensuring a strong focus on VAWG prevention in our Education Systems Guidance and Education Practice Guidance, based on the evidence we have for relationship violence prevention delivery in education settings.  

There is still a lot to do. We need to fund new research to fill gaps in our understanding of what works. We need to turn this evidence into actionable recommendations and sustainable change that will keep children safe from violence.

Key Responsibilities

The Violence against Young Women and Girls Lead will lead the VAWG research and change agenda for YEF. 

You will:

Be the YEF’s expert on VAWG

• Making sure we understand the key issues, stay on top of the latest research and are connected to the right people.

Lead YEF’s research agenda on VAWG

• Commissioning research that fills important gaps in knowledge and leads to important changes in policy and practice.

Develop evidence-based recommendations on the prevention of VAWG.

• Drawing on research and expert insight to produce recommendations for systems and practice guidance, across the seven essential sectors that we work with: children’s services, education, health, neighbourhoods, policing, youth services, and youth justice.
• Writing and publishing evidence briefings and recommendations for policy makers and system leaders about how to prevent VAWG.
• Working across YEF teams to ensure that YEF recommendations on VAWG are incorporated across our evidence and change products, including systems, sector and practice guidance, the Toolkit and implementation resources.

Develop and lead a change strategy.

• Developing great relationships with senior leaders, policymakers, commissioners, and key stakeholders connected to VAWG across England and Wales.
• Generating a strong understanding of key issues and needs across systems and sectors and building credibility and trust in YEF’s evidence products and recommendations.
• Creating practical tools and resources that help leaders put evidence into action.
• Developing, managing and tracking your change plan to get more senior leaders to be aware of and use our guidance, tools and resources, continuously looking for data-driven improvements.
• Delivering events and presentations to effectively connect people with the evidence.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering the charity’s mass participation products, including the flagship event, Time for a Cuppa, while also leading in developing and launching new products to meet supporter engagement and income targets.

Reporting to the Senior Mass Participation Manager, you will contribute to shaping an effective mass participation strategy and implementing detailed operational plans to manage, diversify and grow the programme. We are looking for a motivated individual to join us as Team and Office Assistant, effectively supporting the small but busy RSTMH Team by providing proactive and comprehensive support across our key areas of work.

The role will require someone who preferably has some experience of providing support and administration to a busy team (preferably within the charity/not-for-profit sector), who is flexible, has excellent time management skills and is able work on own initiative. The successful candidate will be working across various RSTMH activities, including membership, journals, events, Early Career Grants, and communications; therefore, they will need to be efficient and organised, with strong computer skills and a professional outlook.

Please note: This is a London based role and will be office-based. This is not available as a remote job.

The Role:

• To develop and maintain effective working relationships across RSTMH
• To ensure that all general, email, telephone and written enquiries are dealt with efficiently and promptly
• To support with the management of the RSTMH office and office processes
• To undertake electronic and paper filing, and maintain filing systems appropriately
• To support with team planning, scheduling and social events and activities 
• To assist with the management and promotion of the RSTMH meeting room
• To support with financial administration
• To support the planning of RSTMH events, including handling delegate registration enquiries via telephone and email, collating event packs and materials, and conducting desk research on the cost and availability of venues and caterers.
• To attend RSTMH events, assisting with Zoom support on online events, and assisting as necessary at in person events.
• To assist with the administration associated with the RSTMH Early Career Grants programme, which includes analysing key data and helping produce reports for the team, our Committees and donors.
• Taking a role in the processes to select grant awardees including helping perform due diligence on the potential awardees
• To support the Communications Manager in scheduling and sourcing content for social media
• To support on the website by uploading and editing content through the CMS
• To help create and send the fortnightly member newsletter and the monthly non-member newsletter
• To support the Communications Manager in creating content to be shared across RSTMH communications channels
• To assist with communications planning
• To be responsible for the general administration and upkeep of RSTMH’s online opportunities platform, grow
• To support with strategies to increase members of RSTMH
• To assist with enquiries from current and prospective members in a professional, timely manner, and to agreed service targets.
• To support with membership management, ensuring data is up to date using CiviCRM
• To provide support to the managing editor for Journal-related tasks
• To ensure that all assigned tasks are completed to a high standard
• To participate in team meetings, planning and initiatives
• To assist in any administrative tasks to support the team and wider RSTMH community
• To undertake any other reasonable tasks as could be expected of a Team and Office Assistant

Essential Technical Skills:

• Ability to manage a diverse set of priorities and meet deadlines to a consistently high standard
• Capacity to set up and maintain administrative processes and office systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong understanding of delivering great customer service
• Experience of being responsible for initiating, planning, and developing own areas of work
• High computer literacy and confidence with Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
• Exceptional use of written and spoken English
• Experience providing administration support, preferably in an office environment
• Good analytical skills with the ability to identify key points from complex material or information

Role Summary 

Our current Director of Finance & Operations will be going on maternity leave in mid-October 2025 and we are looking for an experienced and energetic interim Director of Finance & Operations who will be able to hit the ground running in overseeing all of our finance, HR and operations, which underpin our core mission and work to support babies, families and health professionals across the neonatal community.

The successful candidate will lead all aspects of Bliss’ financial management, including our strategic approach to financial and business planning as well as supporting effective delivery of our day-to-day financial systems and processes. They will have overall responsibility for Bliss’ core organisational support functions of HR, IT, and facilities, and will also contribute to the daily running and future direction of the charity as a member of the Senior Management Team.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate who:
-Is a CCAB qualified (or equivalent) team leader with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
-Has significant accountancy experience, with knowledge and experience of charity finance
-Has a good understanding of the financial and governance aspects of a charity, particularly the application of Charity SORP
-Has a strong understanding of business functions including HR, contract management, IT systems, and office and administrative processes

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Estates & Maintenance Manager to ensure The Royal Homes Estate is a safe, efficient and well-maintained environment for the benefit of residents at Queens Alexandra Court. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the buildings to the highest possible standards, effectively delivering key projects and managing all maintenance systems in-line with appropriate guidance, warranties and best practice.

This role also includes conducting routine inspections across the estate, handling plumbing, electrical, carpentry and other maintenance tasks.

Additionally, the successful candidate will oversee the ongoing Quinquennial works, collaborating with the Quinquennial inspector and external contractors to ensure all repair work is completed successfully.

About the team

You will be part of a small dedicated and compassionate team based at The Royal Homes Estate, with direct line management responsibility for three members of the maintenance team. You will have the opportunity to work closely with co-workers who are highly trained, experienced and supportive.

About you

To carry out this role successfully you will have recognised skills in the maintenance/building trade and have an understanding of Health & Safety requirements and regulations. Strong negotiating and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to understand and maintain communication with a wide range of contractors. You will have a practical and hands on approach, with the ability to manage maintenance issues around the site where appropriate.

You will be able to prioritise and plan your workload efficiently, with a thorough and meticulous approach.

Additionally experience of managing a small team is required.
