The Open Wing Alliance (OWA), a program of The Humane League, is a global coalition of approximately 90 animal protection organizations across 70+ countries united in a common goal: to end the abuse of chickens worldwide. For the past several years, we have focused our efforts on eliminating cages from the egg industry by securing cage-free policies from major retailers, restaurants, and manufacturers. OWA groups share tactics and resources to secure as many wins for animals as possible, specializing in institutional campaigning that can be tailored to our members’ unique circumstances and challenges.

As Temporary Global Campaigns Coordinator, you will be part of a team responsible for researching, coordinating, and launching hard-hitting global corporate animal welfare campaigns against major multinational companies. These campaigns involve collaboration and coordination with animal protection organizations around the world and directly contribute to The Humane League’s org-wide goal of ending the abuse of animals raised for food by securing global cage-free policies that significantly improve the lives of millions of egg-laying hens. 

As a campaigner, you’ll have the opportunity to develop knowledge of our targets, our primary campaign strategies, and the tools we will use to win. You will assist with the execution of tactics spanning email, social media, advertisements, and other digital spaces, and you’ll also help the team leverage our digital action platform by setting up digital actions with a high degree of accuracy. The ideal candidate will bring determination, creativity, and a collaborative mindset. This position reports directly to the Associate Director of Global Campaigns.

This is a temporary, full-time, remote position, beginning in January 2026 and ending in December 2026. The duration may be extended or shortened at The Humane League’s discretion. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct research to help inform campaign strategies, tactics, project plans, and communications (including slogans and language). Gather and monitor contact information, data, and key details about target companies and their executives.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team at Scope. In this role, you will provide strategic financial insight, challenge, and guidance to our Fundraising and Charitable Activity teams, managing a combined budget of around £30 million. You will help us deliver on our strategic priorities, including closing the disability employment gap and ending the extra costs of disability.

As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with senior leaders, budget holders, and colleagues across Scope to make sure that financial insight is at the heart of our decision-making, helping us to deliver the greatest impact.

You will:

· Understand, analyse, and present large amounts of complex data in a clear way.

· Partner with budget holders to understand financial needs and provide proactive advice and analysis to support decision-making.

· Deliver transparent and accountable budgeting and forecasting processes.

· Provide accurate, insightful reporting, ensuring commentary and analysis add real value.

· Review financial proposals for investment and assess return on investment (ROI) on all fundraising spend across multiple years.

About you

We are looking for someone who can combine technical financial expertise with strong relationship management skills. You’ll be confident working with large amounts of data, interpreting results, and presenting insights in a clear and impactful way.

To be successful, you will have:

· Experience of providing financial insight to senior leaders that influenced decisions.

· Strong knowledge of fundraising accounting, including gift aid, forecasting individual giving subscriptions, legacies, and donations, preparing cost analysis for funding bids, and allocation of restricted funds.

· Experience of proactively guiding budget holders through the budget setting process.

· Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.

· The confidence to challenge and influence decisions at senior level.

It would be great if you also bring:

· Understanding of the social model of disability.

· Knowledge of charity accounting and VAT partial recovery.

· An accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).

Director of Transformation (DDaT)

A leading national charity is seeking an Interim Director of Transformation (DDaT) to guide the organisation through a crucial 18 month period of modernisation. This is a senior mandate suited to someone with broad technology leadership experience in fundraising charities of around 100–250 employees, and the capability to drive major transformation programmes to completion, including a significant CRM migration and the development of a modern data platform.

In this role, you’ll take responsibility for ensuring the charity’s technology architecture is coherent, scalable and secure, overseeing key platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft 365/Azure, and the charity’s evolving data lakehouse. You’ll bring structure to delivery and operations, managing internal teams and external partners, strengthening SLAs, and championing agile ways of working to ensure the organisation receives a high-quality, modern, and responsive technology service.

You’ll also lead the organisation through a substantial period of change, working closely with fundraising, digital, and operational teams to ensure technology aligns with strategic goals, particularly the ambition to scale income and deepen supporter engagement. Strong stakeholder management will be essential, as you will advise senior leaders and the Board on technology, risk, cybersecurity, and organisational readiness, while helping staff navigate a major shift in the charity’s digital and data capability.

Key skills & experience

• Senior, broad technology leadership within fundraising charities or similarly complex NFP environments (approx. 100–250 staff).
• Strong transformation experience across digital, CRM, data platforms, governance, and cloud architecture.

As their Financial Controller, you will lead the Financial Accounting and Payroll team. This hands-on, strategic role requires a leader capable of driving operational efficiency in transactional accounting while managing the complexity of statutory reporting, audit, and internal control frameworks.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, GL, Banking) and drive efficiency. Ensure the integrity, controls, and continuous improvement of all finance systems.

• Be the primary lead for the production of annual statutory accounts and the management of the year-end audit. Ensure full compliance with tax obligations (VAT, Corporation Tax) and external regulations.

• Design, implement, and maintain a robust and effective internal control framework, ensuring processes are documented and controls are strictly followed.

• Lead cash flow management, debt collection, liaise with investment managers, and report on compliance with the financial reserves policy.

• Manage and motivate the Financial Accounting Team and oversee the Payroll Operations Manager, ensuring an accurate, timely, and compliant payroll and pensions service.

• Act as a key advisor to employees and trustees, specifically managing the fixed asset register and partnering on capital expenditure budgets.

Essentials: 

• A recognised, full Professional Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).

• 5-10 years' Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) in a senior financial accounting or audit position with a demonstrable track record of success in managing complex financial operations.

• Experience working within a charity environment and strong knowledge of charity SORP. 

• Proven experience in statutory accounts production, managing audits, implementing strong internal controls, and overseeing transactional teams.

• Strong change management skills and a passion for driving continuous process and system improvements.

Salary is up to £68,000 + Excellent Benefits.
