About the role
The Natural History Museum at Tring, Hertfordshire, welcomes 145,000 public visitors a year to our Victorian galleries as well as visitors to our research collections held on site. Our Housekeeping Team are crucial to providing a clean and safe environment for all visitors and staff in the Museum. As part of this team, the Museum & Housekeeping assistants’ role is to provide and maintain the highest standard of cleanliness within the Museum’s galleries and spaces, carry out portering duties, non-specialist maintenance tasks and supporting the Museum’s team in gallery exhibit conservation.
Working 36 hours per week on a five out of seven-day Rota, which includes one weekend in four & public holidays.
About you

With record visitor numbers to the Natural History Museum, this fast-paced environment requires adaptability within the role, teamwork, and a positive attitude. The Food Education Network (FEN) began in 2020 as a coalition of organisations passionate about improving food education in schools and other settings to influence recommendations for the National Food Strategy.
School Food Matters is now looking for an experienced and passionate leader with skills in advocacy and communications to lead the future development of the Food Education Network and its next stage of influencing government policy around food education from early years into the secondary phase.
Main Responsibilities
The Director will build on the foundations already laid to establish the Food Education Network as a new member organisation to bring the sector together. This role will involve building close relationships with a wide range of external partners to ensure the Network is a credible voice on food education policy and is campaigning with its members to make change happen. The role will be split between governance of the network (40%) and influencing government policy (60%).

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Legacy Marketing Manager to play a key role in shaping the future of our legacy marketing programme.
Legacy gifts are our single largest source of voluntary income, with significant potential for growth. To recognise this, we have secured additional investment to help us engage, inspire and acquire new legacy supporters through multi-channel marketing activities.
Working closely with the Heads of Fundraising Campaigns and Individual Giving, you will develop strategies to raise awareness of gifts in Wills, reach new audiences and develop new supporter journeys to engage new and existing legacy pledgers and prospects with our research.
As a creative, innovative and data-led marketeer, you will develop and deliver our legacy fundraising programme with the support of your direct reports – the Legacy Marketing and Legacy Stewardship Officers – and the Digital Marketing and Fundraising Communications teams.
You will also build important relationships with colleagues across the Development Office, including working with Philanthropy to promote legacy giving to their audiences.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will plan, manage and execute multi-channel campaigns across the marketing mix and work with your team to deliver exceptional campaigns and stewardship, to recruit, retain and engage our committed supporters.
You will:

Role: Part Time Executive Assistant (Senior PA/EA)

Salary/Rate: £34,000 - £36,000 pro rata
Working Arrangements: Flexible part-time (e.g. 5 mornings or 3 full days – 22.5 hours per week)

About the role:
As the Executive Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the CEO’s office and the wider Executive Team. You’ll be the go-to person for diary management, governance coordination, internal communications, and helping to drive forward strategic projects. This is a hands-on, proactive role where you’ll be trusted to juggle priorities, anticipate needs, and be one step ahead.
Main responsibilities of the role include:
- CEO & Executive Support: Prioritise and coordinate the CEO’s diary and support the daily workflow of the Executive Team.
- Communication Management: Manage email inboxes, draft and respond to communications, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Meeting Coordination: Prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on actions for Board, Executive, and Committee meetings.
- Project Coordination: Assist with key organisational projects and track progress on behalf of the CEO.
- Office Systems & Processes: Improve and maintain systems including document management, Zoom phone, WhatsApp for Business, and MS Teams.
- Planning & Organisation: Develop and manage planning cycles (weekly, monthly, annual) for the Executive Office.
- Website & Content Updates: Support content management and website updates where relevant.
- Governance Support: Coordinate governance processes, maintain governance manuals, and support committee admin.
- Travel & Logistics: Organise Board and senior team travel and accommodation, including occasional international travel.
- Team Collaboration & Cover: Work closely with the wider Executive Office team and provide cover as needed.
- Proven experience providing high-level support to senior executives, ideally within a membership organisation or non-profit
- Experience coordinating Board and Committee activity, including minute-taking and logistics
- Strong project coordination skills and confidence developing systems and processes
- Familiarity with international or healthcare-related work environments is a bonus
- High proficiency in Microsoft Teams and the full Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
- Experience using CMS/CRM systems and confidence with basic financial tasks (budgets, processing)
- A solid understanding of organisational governance and data protection (GDPR)
