- The role of RPCS Health Care Assistant is in place to provide end of life care to patients in their own homes in the final weeks of life. 

- We are looking for caring staff who could provide personal care to patients in their last weeks of life. 

- If you think this is you then we can offer a variety of shift patterns to suit you, working across a 7 day week. 

- Your normal hours of work will be a varied shift pattern (between 7am-11pm) on a rota basis from Sunday to Saturday. 

- You will be visiting patients living in your local area, who wish to be cared for in their own home. 

- You will provide support with washing, dressing, nutrition, and skin care. 

- During your visit you will spend time talking to patients and their relatives, using your skills to ascertain the best possible care for the individual. 

- Visits are mainly provided by two carers, but there are times when you will visit alone, so you must have access to your own car. 

- Experience is not essential as training will be given but ideally you will have had some experience of prior caring i.e. for a dying relative, childcare etc.

We are seeking two Senior Economists, one full-time permanent role and one 12-month fixed term role, which could be either full-time or part-time. In both roles, we are looking for someone to develop and lead research projects that generate arguments, policies and ideas to address the social and economic challenges that underpin poverty and household economic insecurity in the UK today and chart a course to a different and better future.

You will devise, lead and deliver high quality economic analysis and thinking to JRF’s policy & ideas work and offer a professional economics perspective across the wider organisation – and as a trusted, expert voice externally. You will seek out and connect with people or organisations developing new ideas and strategies that can contribute to our mission; and to develop proposals for how JRF should use its platform and resources to support their development and diffusion.

About you

As a Senior Economist, we would like you to either have a professional economics training or equivalent professional work experience, advanced data analysis skills and the ability to use a wide range of tools and software to undertake large scale and groundbreaking economic analysis (including using micro-data from major national surveys).

With experience of working on policy issues relating to poverty, you will have significant experience of having initiated, designed, led and delivered projects that included original economic analysis that generated a different or better understanding of policy challenges and helped to guide new arguments and ideas. You will be able to think critically and creatively, analyse and problem solve, and contribute to the generation of new ideas and alternative ways of approaching an issue, able to communicate arguments and ideas persuasively, via writing and speaking.

You will have advanced knowledge and critical awareness of economic theory, principles, datasets and analytical techniques and how to deploy these effectively in support of understanding and addressing the drivers of household economic insecurity. With significant knowledge of one or both of macroeconomics or UK fiscal policy and a strong understanding of how policy making works across the UK, devolved and sub-national governments, you will have an awareness and engagement with relevant political, policy and intellectual debates, plus models and approaches to social change.

The Office Administrator will undertake all administrative support duties, typing, creating letters/templates, maintaining all databases of contact and contractors, filing, and responding and maintaining records to standard enquiries. MAIN DUTIES

• Resident engagement, taking and responding to residents’ calls, ensuring that all such engagement is documented on the Goulden House Resident Engagement Database

• Raise Works Orders and Purchase Orders and services on SAGE as per Estate Manager instruction

What's the role about?

Main Duties Social Media

Media & PR

• Draft social media copy for news stories and monitor media coverage.
• Produce daily updates on media trends and autism-related news.
• Participate in the out-of-hours PR and social media rota (additional pay provided).
• Support the Head of PR and Social Media and Media Manager with ad hoc tasks.

The Workforce and Careers Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the planning, development, and sustainability of the paediatric medical workforce across the UK. Working within the College’s Workforce and Careers team, you will lead and contribute to projects that ensure safe and sustainable services for children and young people by promoting paediatrics and supporting members throughout their careers.

You will be responsible for delivering a range of high-impact initiatives, including workforce research, service configuration guidance, career pathway support, and coordination of the College’s “Stepping Up” programme for new consultants. The role combines research, project planning, and stakeholder engagement with data analysis and policy alignment, requiring strong collaboration with clinicians, internal teams, and external partners.

Reporting to the Workforce Manager, you will produce research reports, develop guidance, and deliver case studies based on workforce trends and survey data. You’ll also play a key role in coordinating governance activities and ensuring the College’s advocacy work reflects workforce realities.

You will bring experience in research, health or education policy, and an understanding of project management principles, alongside excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills. Experience in the NHS, medical education or postgraduate training is desirable, as is familiarity with qualitative analysis and stakeholder engagement.

This magnificent location offers a variety of meeting, conference, dining, and event spaces, along with services for virtual and hybrid events, as well as a medicinal garden. The space beautifully blends the heritage of our organisation with modern architecture, creating exceptional events and lasting memories.

As a Senior Event Planner, you will be a key member of their experienced and dynamic team.  You will play a crucial role in converting high-revenue business opportunities and planning and coordinating both physical and hybrid events. Your efforts will help maximise income and fill unsold spaces which support our revenue targets. You will also drive high performance and engagement within the team by deputising for the diary/revenue and team managers as needed, and by supervising the commercial planning team to ensure best practices and change initiatives are implemented.

In addition to managing your own events, you will support the sales team by planning and coordinating events converted from new prospective clients with high revenue potential. Your role will involve maintaining and developing high-value key accounts, networking with existing clients, and engaging with past users to generate future business and develop new leads. A strong commercial awareness of profitable business and current industry trends is essential.

Responsibilities include:

• Liaising with customers from the initial enquiry stage, right through the customer journey to post event follow up including for physical, hybrid and virtual events.
• Arranging and conducting client venue visits, handling enquiries and following up with detailed proposals.
• Demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of the product, pricing and packages on offer,
• Demonstrating commercial awareness in order to successfully negotiate with customers to win their business.
• Participating in site visits, handling enquiries and taking ownership of large revenue events, as directed by the Business Development Manager.
• Ensuring the successful delivery of events, by communicating, coordinating and compiling event details and liaising with the event operations and front of house teams.
• Preparation and processing of accurate deposits and invoices.
• Generating and reporting on activities as required.
• Yield management, ensuring up to date activities and maintenance of accounts in the CRM system.
• Creating and managing Key Account plans.
• Delivering a consistently high level of customer service.

Experience

• Educated to A-level, or equivalent business or event management qualification.
• Demonstrate relevant experience in Event Planning and Coordination with the skills, knowledge and commercial understanding required for the role.
• Working in a direct planning role within the hospitality/events industry specialising in conferences, meetings, dining and events, with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft office applications.
• Being commercially aware of finance, budget management and working in a profitable business.
• Having knowledge of food and beverage in the context of the hospitality and events industry.
• Ability to prioritise your own workload and completing tasks with a high level of accuracy.
