The postholder will provide advice, guidance and coaching to parents and carers of children aged 8-18 years to help them to develop new awareness and skills to enhance their support to their children through a combination of group-work and one-to-one sessions.
As part of the Surrey Wellbeing Partnership, The Eikon Charity provides a wide range of emotional wellbeing and mental health services for children & young people. Through this work we have seen how challenging parents and carers can find supporting their children’s emotional wellbeing difficulties, particularly where they have Neurodivergent needs.
Supported by new funding streams, we are delighted to be recruiting to this new role of Family Wellbeing Practitioner with Neurodevelopmental Specialism, to be a key practitioner within our Family Wellbeing Service. As a practitioner, you will hold a caseload, working as part of a team to undertake assessments and deliver a range of evidence-based interventions, including EBSNA support, with a focus on support for families with children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions.
Responsibilities
- To assess the needs and strengths of the parents/carers referred into the service and help them identify and implement strategies that will support them, help them identify individual goals to achieve desired change
- Deliver bespoke programmes of support, to parents/carers of children and young people diagnosed with or being assessed for neurodevelopmental conditions such as Autistic Spectrum Condition and/or ADHD. This could take the form of time limited 1:1 or group sessions or a blended approach depending on the needs presenting themselves
- To support the creation and development of and deliver workshops and presentations for small parent/carer groups covering a range of emotional wellbeing and mental health topics relevant to children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions
- Record and review parent/carer goals using the Goal-Based Outcomes tool and use this to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions
- To involve parents/carers in the co-design of group work and ensure that the service responds to user voice and meets the needs identified
- To take responsibility for own caseload of parents/carers, some with complex and multiple needs
- To keep accurate records of individual engagement, evidence of change and celebrate progress with parents/carers to ensure support programmes can be accurately monitored and evaluated
- To provide written case studies as evidence of the effectiveness of individual interventions
- To identify a range of specialist services and agencies who can offer further support for parents and families
- To work collaboratively with other Eikon delivery teams in delivering interventions for children, young people and families
- To promote the service within The Eikon Charity and with statutory and voluntary sector partners across the region – this might include presentations at networking events and production of promotional material
- To assist with the development and progression of the Family Wellbeing Service by adhering to all communication requests and assisting with peer progression development when requested through case supervision
Organisational requirements

Joining our dedicated team of nurses, you will support our helpline and Ask Our Nurses (AON).
The nursing team includes an associate director, senior clinical nurse specialists, clinical nurse specialists, sessional nurses and trained helpline staff.
You will act as a resource for clients, healthcare professionals and the wider public about breast health and breast cancer. This includes providing information and support to clients though our national helpline, by email and social media.
The helpline service is run throughout the week, and on Saturday mornings (the latter is optional, other than training days) and the helpline hours are 8:45am to 4.00pm. Team training usually occurs twice a year on Saturdays. You’ll be supported by a senior clinical nurse specialist and have regular clinical supervision. We are looking for candidates who can work at least one day (6.25 hours) per week

This position could suit someone working part time in the NHS or private sector or for individuals who would like to use their information and support skills through our helpline and AON written enquiry services.

The position is responsible for developing and delivering the gallery’s audience development, communications and digital strategies, and plays a central role in nurturing relationships with stakeholders, including press, partners, artists and audiences. Ensuring compliance with data protection legislation and championing the gallery’s value of equality, diversity and inclusion are central to this role.
Reporting to the Director and forming part of the Senior Management Team, the Head of Marketing and Communications is a full time position which manages and is supported by a full-time Marketing Manager and a full-time Design and Communications Officer, with freelance support on press/PR and design as required for specific exhibitions and projects.
Principal Responsibilities
Marketing and Communications
- To grow and diversify Modern Art Oxford’s visiting and online audiences by leading audience development, communications and digital marketing strategies that will enable the organisation to build on its brand and profile, and strengthen its visibility in Oxford, the UK and beyond.
- To develop and oversee implementation of all marketing, communications and PR activity including media relations, social media and digital activity, development of marketing and branding collateral, and on-site interpretation.
- To formulate with the direction of the Director a transformational vision for the use of digital technologies to drive engagement and interaction with our online audiences.
- To manage effective and efficient relationships with any external PR and marketing consultants and companies.
- To develop and nurture key stakeholder, media and marketing relationships and partnerships and cultivate new relationships to ensure that our profile is high locally, nationally and internationally, and that our position as a leading tourist attraction in Oxfordshire and the South East grows.
- To strategically develop distinctive and innovative digital content, working closely and in creative collaboration with the Head of Exhibitions, Head of Communities, Participation and Practice as well as the wider Marketing and Communications team.
- To work with colleagues to strengthen visitor experience and engagement, both on-site and digitally, to increase profile and ensure that the organisation continues to thrive as one of the UK’s leading contemporary art spaces.
- To work closely with the SMT to drive audience research, development and evaluation, ensuring that the gallery attracts significant visitor numbers and closely addresses our stakeholder priorities.

Fundraising and Finance
- To attend events at Modern Art Oxford and externally to represent the gallery and build relationships with key external stakeholders. Occasional weekend and evening work will be required.
- To ensure tight, clear, budgetary setting, control and regular re-forecasting against targets working with the Head of Finance.
- To work closely with the Head of Development to support new fundraising initiatives and partnerships as required.
- To regularly review all communications activities, suppliers and resources to ensure best value for money.
- To prepare reports as required by Arts Council England and Oxford City Council and other funders/stakeholders in relation to digital, marketing and communications activities.
General
- To support the work of the gallery in strengthening the equality, diversity and inclusivity of the working environment and practices.
- To ensure team management and cross-departmental work is effective and timely in achieving annual targets.
- To ensure that Modern Art Oxford complies with all aspects of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in relation to marketing and communication activities with audiences, stakeholders and any other third parties.
- To participate in training and development activities as required and assist with the training and development of colleagues.
- To carry out all duties in accordance with all Modern Art Oxford’s policies including Equal Opportunities, Access, Employment, Health and Safety, Child Safeguarding, Data Protection and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policies and the Creative Case for Diversity.

Person Specification
- Experience of running a Marketing and Communications team at a senior level within an arts organisation or similar field
- Experience of leading on mixed marketing campaigns, including setting measurable targets
- Significant experience of managing and motivating teams and being a supportive and encouraging team player
- Excellent arts press contacts and/or partnership development experience.
- Demonstrable experience of audience research, segmentation and development
- A strategic and analytical thinker able to devise, implement and report on strategies and to evaluate data using platforms such as Google Analytics and AdWords and experience of SEO, Content Management Systems, and social media platforms and analytics.
- An ability to prioritise competing workloads and work effectively under pressure in a fast paced and leanly resourced working environment

Since LRU started campaigning for rent controls in 2024, we’ve secured the support of MPs, trade unions and charities, organised large demonstrations and pushed the issue of rising rents up the political agenda.
The purpose of this role is to work alongside members and other union staff to take our campaigning for rent controls to the next level through a combination of protests, local organising, coalition building and targeting of power holders, landlords and corporations.
How we work at LRU
You will be part of the LRU staff team alongside 12 other staff, who work with members to build the power of the union by organising, campaigning, training and supporting peer support and member solidarity actions. We expect staff to uphold the union's values, and work together to implement collectively agreed strategies. The staff team are accountable to the elected member Coordinating Group.

Support members to organise ambitious and effective actions and protests in support of rent controls.

Leading on specific projects and campaigns as part of the Cut the Rent campaign and other campaign priorities decided by LRU members. For example, if the campaigns committee decides to target a particular developer or politician as part of the wider Cut the Rent campaign.

Working with the Union Coordinator and members to implement and track progress on the overall Cut the Rent strategy.

NAPAC (the National Association for People Abused in Childhood) is entering an important period of growth. Reporting in to the Partnership & Strategy Lead, the Programme & Partnership Lead for Colombia will be the most senior and key programme, partnership and lead role for each priority country, maintaining oversight of a dynamic and responsive partner portfolio that aligns with organisational values and goals.
The post-holder will ensure Christian Aid's work in partnership employs a decolonised approach to improve locally led work and maximise impact. The role is key in exploring and contributing to multi country programme initiatives across the cluster. The role provides
oversight and leadership to embed a culture of impact. The role plays a lead role in convening spaces with partners and key stakeholders, including faith leaders, and catalysing for change. It plays a key role in strengthening civil society, and fostering coherent linkages among programme, humanitarian and advocacy interventions across priority countries.
The role works collaboratively with partners to shape our response to poverty across the priority countries, to enable a culture of continuous learning. The role leads on ensuring that initiatives contribute to impact in CA’s four global thematic areas.
Some of the main responsibilities of the Programme & Partnership Lead - Colombia include:
- Drive and lead the programme/project delivery ensuring that it is connected to work across the cluster.
- ‘Horizon scan’ to identify new potential partners that would enhance impact, and review portfolio under each of the 4 CA thematic areas (plus sub-themes of resilience, protection and inclusion) to maximise impact.
- Drive and enhance collaboration with partnerships and Christian Aid (convening) to effectively co-design, develop, plan, budget, implement, evidence, learn and communicate the impact from interventions within the programme. This will involve strengthening our collaboration with church leaders and FBOs, as part of bringing to the fore our faith identity and aligning with organisational values and goals.
