Overview  

At Young Roots, we want to see a compassionate and welcoming society for young refugees and asylum seekers in the UK. We work alongside young people seeking safety in the UK, building trusted relationships, providing practical and emotional support and promoting young people’s rights and power.   

Our youth clubs and casework are transformative for young refugees, allowing young people who have fled danger, had traumatic journeys and who are often here alone, to find community and connection, have a space to be a young person and access support in addressing a whole range of practical challenges they face. We also draw on our evidence from working every day with young refugees and asylum seekers to call for change to the laws and policies which are harming young people.  

The Youth Development Coordinator is responsible for the development and delivery of our youth development programme for young refugees and asylum seekers. 

You will be focused on ensuring our programme activities achieve our outcomes, are in line with our strategy and identify areas for change and development under the direction of the Head of Services. An excellent communicator and skilled at working with partners, you will be key in the implementation and running all of our weekly youth activities, including a Youth Club and Advice and Support Hub working closely with the Youth Development Worker and having oversight of our weekly Young Women’s group. 

As an experienced manager, you will lead our team of skilled youth workers, working alongside the Brent team to provide holistic support to young asylum seekers and refugees in Brent.  

You will prioritise the participation of young people in all activities, ensuring excellent safeguarding by following our policy and protocols, and ensure that we collect excellent data for monitoring and evaluation and to aid our future planning. You will also assist with staff and volunteer recruitment and reporting to our funding partners. 

The Youth Development Coordinator will hold a Designated Safeguarding Officer role at Young Roots for which they will receive full training.

Purpose of the role:

The Junior Salesforce Administrator role supports the effective use and ongoing development of the Churchill Fellowship’s Salesforce CRM platform and related applications. Working closely with the Salesforce Team and other internal teams, you will ensure our data remains accurate and accessible, help to improve business processes, and provides user support and training across the organisation. You will play a key part in ensuring Salesforce functions as the single source of truth for organisational data. 

Key responsibilities:

Salesforce Administration and Support:

• Support day-to-day Salesforce user needs, including responding to support tickets and troubleshooting.
• Maintain data quality through duplicate management, validation rules, and standardised field formatting.
• Assist with regular data cleaning activities and updates to system records. 
• Help to prepare technical documentation and user guidance materials. 
• Contribute to routine platform maintenance, upgrades, and third-party app integrations (e.g., FormAssembly, Conga). 
• Support data reporting and dashboards to ensure teams can access reliable insights. 
• Collaborate on developing and refining automated processes using Flows and other Salesforce tools.

Grant & Event Technical Support:

• Assist with the technical setup of grant-related processes in Salesforce, including automations and applicant communications. 
• Support the Events and Development teams with Salesforce Campaign setup, RSVP forms, and invitation tracking. 
• Help ensure integrations and automations run smoothly before, during, and after events. 
• Monitor engagement and follow-up activities through reports and dashboards.

Systems Training & Team Support:

• Provide training and onboarding support to help new and existing staff understand and use Salesforce effectively.
• Contribute to the identification of system improvement opportunities to support organisational needs. 
• Work with internal teams to ensure data protocols are followed and support the development of efficient processes.

Recruitment Process

Details of Job

The Events and Communications Officer will work across the team to plan, produce and deliver a calendar of in-person and on-line events. The post holder will work with the programme team to manage a calendar of online and in-person events and oversee the event process from beginning to end. About the role

The Centre for Ageing Better is looking for a talented Deputy Director to lead on work, retirement and transitions. Overseeing a programme of research, policy development, influencing activity and a growing employer network you will be leading our work to ensure equitable access to decent work for those aged 50+.

We are looking for someone with a good understanding of the UK labour market policy and the implications and opportunities for those aged 50+. You will be skilled at developing strategy and leading a multi-disciplinary team to translate it into an impactful programme of work. You will be comfortable working externally to build relationships and make the case for change to policy makers, potential funders and in the media, and you will bring research expertise and experience of developing and delivering research projects using a variety of methods. 

It’s an exciting time to join us and as a member of our senior management team you will help shape our organisation over the next few years, support our fundraising and business development activity, and lead cross-organisational networks and activity.

The Volunteering & Recruitment Co-ordinator will be a key member of the HR & Operations Team at Richmond Borough Mind – a well-established and diverse mental health charity supporting the local community. With a workforce of approximately 50 staff and as many volunteers, our services include Counselling, Peer Group Activities, Mental Health Training, and Crisis Support.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced co-ordinator to help us nurture and grow our talented team of staff and volunteers.

A natural people-person, you’ll be a confident communicator with a strong instinct for matching individuals to careers, vocational pathways, and volunteer opportunities. Experience in the non-profit sector and an understanding of volunteering are desirable.

You will need:

• A background in volunteer co-ordination and administration within a charity, HR, or equivalent setting

• A solid grasp of employment law, equality, diversity and inclusion, and best practice in HR

• Excellent organisational and time management skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities

• Confidence using a range of IT platforms including SharePoint, online meeting tools, cloud-based database systems, advertising portals, and desktop publishing software

Role Summary
As Business Development Programme Officer, you’ll play a key role in expanding ARTICLE 19’s unrestricted income through creative and strategic fundraising.
