About the role:  

We are looking for a very confident, outgoing go-getter who loves using their gregarious personality to influence and enthuse people to get results but also enjoys being organised with strong admin processes. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has been involved in influencing organisations, businesses and groups or individuals to organise range of fundraising events, such as gaming, auctions, quizzes, gigs. You will be a part of a small but dynamic marketing and fundraising team and working with an Events and Engagement Officer.

This is a critical role for generating essential funds for the charity. You will love a challenge and be goal orientated. It is a varied role, and you will be someone who loves to multitask; you may be emailing supporters or potential fundraisers, making action plans, promoting, contacting organisations, or attending and speaking at events. You will thrive in this role if you love being organised and doing admin, but love being “out and about” interacting, influencing and motivating people to fundraise for us. Please note that you will need to carry, load up and set-up event materials from our office to events, often on your own. It is essential you have access to transport and must have a full, clean driving licence. We are a very small team, so you will need to have the confidence and willingness to meet with organisations and attend events on your own.

Main Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Support and steward existing fundraisers and supporters, helping them maximise their impact by generating income/ donations through organising their own events 

• Create inspiring digital content and resources to empower and guide fundraisers and donors throughout their journey 

• Develop our fundraising hub to provide resources and information and encouragement to help participants 

• Represent Grassroots Suicide Prevention at events, delivering talks and building awareness to attract new donors, supporters and sign-ups to our challenge events 

• With support of our marketing team, create compelling content for multiple channels, including our website, blog, case studies, social media, and press releases, tailored to diverse audiences 

• Assist with multiple administrative tasks, such as inputting data into our CRM, check fundraising activities by participants on Just Giving and other activities ensure fundraising targets are being met and the smooth running and of our fundraising team and events 

• Be in commutable distance of Brighton, so you can come into the head office when required to send out merchandise, collect marketing collateral (including banners, posters, leaflets) to take to events. 

To be successful in this role, you must be responsive, extremely organised, have attention to detail, be able to meet deadlines, and passionate about seeing growth and progress in your work. You will be determind to exceed your KPIs such as recruitment of fundraisers who will reach their income targets.  You will be a dynamic, socially confident person, who excels at winning hearts and minds and thrives on tangible results.

Essential criteria: 

• A full clean driving licence and access to suitable transport 

• Adept at all aspects of Microsoft Office 

• Experience of influencing people and organisations to come on board and fundraise 

• Experience of recruiting, motivating and managing volunteers

The Role

We are a small team building culture change and supporting colleagues to take on new roles and responsibilities around data, placing ownership where it is most effective and enabling colleagues to see their relationships with data differently. 

You will have: 

• Experience in data governance or data management – ideally in the charity or public sector. 

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, especially with non-technical audiences. 

• A collaborative approach and ability to influence change across teams. 

• A passion for ethical data use and making a difference through better information. 

• Working knowledge of data protection laws (e.g. GDPR) and how they apply to charities. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Implementation, review, and refinement of the data governance framework, strategy and vision ensuring that these align with the Charity's Corporate Strategy. 

• Enabling and promoting data governance best practice in the charity 

• Contribute to enterprise-wide data management, working closely with data architecture/engineering colleagues and the wider business teams.

As a Risk & Resilience Officer, you'll work in partnership with colleagues across all our directorates to strengthen how we identify, assess, and respond to risk. The Central Office Administrator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the central office facility, including day-to-day oversight of organisation-wide services provided by SCT’s external IT support provider.

A well-established charity is seeking a Junior Trusts & Foundations Officer to join its Development team. This is an exciting opportunity to support vital fundraising efforts, manage relationships with funders, and contribute directly to the organisation’s mission to make a meaningful impact worldwide.

About the role
Reporting to the Trusts & Foundations Manager, you will provide comprehensive support in trusts and foundations fundraising. You will manage a portfolio of four-figure donors, maintain the fundraising database, and help build a pipeline of new trusts and foundations aligned with the charity’s priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Build and nurture relationships with funders, managing your own portfolio.
• Research new funding opportunities and prepare information for proposals and impact reports.
• Maintain and administer the Trusts and Foundations database.
• Collate case studies and photos from global teams for reporting purposes.
• Support the drafting of proposals to secure unrestricted and restricted funding.
• Ensure accurate recording of all new income and share paperwork with relevant departments.
• Send thank you letters, impact reports, and other funder communications.

Clinical Services Coordinator (Mental Health Talking Therapies) - Maternity Cover Contract

Evolve Counselling is looking for an efficient, qualified and experienced mental health counselling manager, to take charge of our service while the postholder takes maternity leave in January 2026. This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity with a supportive employer, who offers a flexible approach to working time, benefits and options for the future. 

The post is: 

• Fully remote, part-time hours between 16-21 hours per week.

• Highly flexible arrangement of core working hours across 4/5 days each week. 

• Salary will be £32,000 pro rata/ full time equivalent.

Evolve provides a wide range of therapies to people experiencing mental health difficulties. We work with private individuals and organisational/ corporate clients (via employee wellbeing programmes) mainly through remote video calls but with a good deal of face-to-face work. We have over 45 BACP registered counsellors on our team and our mission is to deliver the lowest cost counselling to those who need it most. As a charity, our surpluses are reinvested to deliver this mission. 

Our ideal candidate for this temporary cover is a BACP registered member counsellor, with strong managerial and administrative skills and experience, confident at handling the working needs of a large remote team and delivering a detailed and personal service to our larger contract clients as well as private individuals. You’ll be working alongside an ambitious management team, aiming to perfect and grow our services. Good record keeping, communications skills and familiarity with confidential client record management systems are a must. 

The key aspects of the CSC job are to: 

• Be the first port of call for all clinical queries. 

• Arrange the efficient use of our CRM system that supports the clinical service. 

• Take overall responsibility for incoming referrals and allocations as well as ongoing management of clients and maintenance of any waiting lists to agreed parameters. 

• Monitor the balance between counsellor capacity and client demand. 

• Provide practical support and signposting to the counselling members, enabling their work.

Rowans Hospice Charity provides free care and support to adults and their families living in the Portsmouth and South East Hampshire region who have a life-limiting illness. Established in 1994, our income is generated by ongoing support of the local community, donations, legacies, fundraising and through our retail shops.

Many people think that hospices are all about dying, but through our many different services, we support people to live as well as they can with their illness. From the moment of diagnosis through to bereavement support. Our Living Well Services put an emphasis on living with a life-limiting illness and patients and carers can drop in and gain advice and support to maintain individuals’ resilience.

The Hospice is also supported by an assembly of volunteers, from various backgrounds and ages who are crucial in supporting the teams to ensure people live well to the end of their life and attain a good death within a caring and compassionate environment.

The Role

To provide high-level, proactive, and confidential administrative and executive support to the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees. This role ensures the efficient coordination of meetings, communications and strategic initiatives by managing schedules, preparing documentation and facilitating effective information flow. The EA acts as a key point of contact between internal and external stakeholders, supporting the governance and operational effectiveness of the Charity at the highest levels.

You will be the lead administrator for governance, ensuring all statutory and regulatory obligations are met, whilst also supporting the effective running of executive meetings, day-to-day leadership functions and education placements.

Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to – see Job Description for further information)

• Provide PA support to the Chair, Deputy CEO, Company Secretary and SLT, including diary management, correspondence, travel, and meeting coordination
• Provide efficient and professional support to the Board of Trustees and delegated committees, including scheduling, producing annual meeting calendars, preparing agendas, circulating papers, taking accurate minutes and following up on actions
• Provide administrative and logistical support for Doctors and Nursing Student placements
• Develop and maintain efficient systems and processes for executive administration

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role ideally in a charity
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Professional and confident interpersonal manner
• Ability to draft high-quality correspondence and reports
• Experience in formal minute-taking and senior board level

The Brain Tumour Charity is leading the way in research, support, and advocacy for everyone affect by brain tumours. Our mission is simple but urgent: to accelerate a cure for brain tumours and improve life for everyone affected by this devastating disease.

We have a five-year strategy with three strategic priorities: to transform the research landscape, to raise voices to campaign for change, and to improve quality of life through providing support and best care for everyone diagnosed with a brain tumour. Our work will include strengthening our research portfolio, developing internal research to understand and address under-served need, and building an evidence-based and sustainable charity that is fit for purpose for the future. Reporting directly to the CEO and as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Director of Finance and Resources provides strategic leadership and operational oversight of the Finance, Governance, Planning and Performance, IT Services, and Facilities teams. The role is also Company Secretary and SLT Lead for the Finance Committee and Governance & Ethics Committee of The Charity. The postholder leads a department of c.15 colleagues, with five direct reports including three Heads of Teams covering Finance, IT and Planning and Performance; a Data Governance Manager; and a Facilities Manager.

Shannon Trust are delighted to be working with His Majesty’s Prison & Probation Service (HMPPS) to provide peer-led learning programmes at HMP Winchester.

Working closely with the prison and their staff, Shannon Trust volunteers and mentors, this post will lead the delivery and development of our prison-based reading and numeracy programme, maximising peer opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.

Ideally you will have some experience of prison settings underpinned by the ability to build relationships and possess personal qualities that include resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach.

This role will be prison based, working 4 days per week, Monday-Thursday.
