We are looking for a Deliveries and Stock Collection Driver to work on our vans delivering and collecting furniture, and support the Logistics team to maximise sales. Successful applicants will be part of an awesome Logistics team led by the Logistics Co-ordinator and will have key responsibilities within that team.

The successful candidate will be comfortable and experienced both in a customer service/retail environment and driving a 3.5t Luton van. So, you will be working in a team with volunteers and our residents, so a positive, “can do” we would love to hear from you. You will be joining a friendly and enthusiastic team who are passionate about what they do.

About the Role

The Assessment and Data Administrator role is responsible for assisting with online assessment systems to ensure that full compliance of awarding organisations requirements are adhered to. Additionally, this individual will be the first point of call within the team for candidate or customer queries around our operational processes. 
 
We are looking for a positive, self-starter with strong organisational skills, who is confident with managing multiple tasks, and priorities and is able to provide an efficient support. The ideal candidate will be able to work well in a team and also work of their own initiative, confidently communicate with stakeholders at varying levels of seniority and display judgement, integrity and trustworthiness as you will be privy to learner information.
 
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate must have previous experience of working with IT and online learning platforms and be confident in managing the breadth of tasks within this function.
 
Key responsibilities for this role will include:

• Registration of learners across awarding organisation(s) for all courses.
• Maintenance of learner records with the awarding organisation(s).
• Supporting lead IQA in preparation for external quality assurance visits.
• Management of and claiming of completed certificates and their distribution to learners across all courses. 
• Maintaining accurate records of learner data for reporting and planning purposes. 
• Supporting the Academy team by providing data on learner number, course breakdown and completion rates. 
• Handle incoming enquiries relating to Academy operational processes. 
• Create effective interactions with customers across various platforms.

We are seeking an individual to raise awareness of the Fund’s welfare offer amongst social welfare agencies across the North East of Scotland but also, crucially, to help address the issue of social isolation and feelings of loneliness experienced by some members of the RAF Family.

The post holder will be working with socially isolated individuals to identify meaningfully enriching opportunities to reduce feelings of loneliness, some of whom may have complex and challenging welfare needs, to develop actions plans and coordinate support to overcome any barriers preventing successful connection into these enriching opportunities, assisting them by identifying appropriate support from within the RAF Benevolent Fund and the wider statutory and military charity sector.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a social welfare role supporting individuals, have strong people and relationship-building skills, as well as empathy with or understanding of the issues affecting the Armed Forces community. Individuals with a social prescribing or working aged veteran support background are encouraged to apply.

Blue Cross animal hospitals and pet care clinics provide veterinary treatment to sick and injured pets when their owners can’t afford private veterinary fees. Our vet care is available to pets whose owners receive certain means-tested benefits and live within the catchment area of one of our animal hospitals or pet care clinics.  

We have developed an award-winning set of clinical guidelines to assist our vets in pragmatic, evidence-based decision making, where patient welfare is a priority. About you

As a Veterinary Nurse, you will be confident and capable in delivering excellent nursing care for a range of small animals, providing both emergency and routine healthcare. Our Veterinary Nurses work alongside Veterinary Surgeons to promote animal health and welfare through responsible ownership and play a key role in the education of pet owners.

About the role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Gardener to join our estates team to maintain and develop the 12 acres of grounds and gardens at our Head Office / England South Hub site to a high standard. The Gardener will report to the Head of Property and Estates and will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of trees, shrubs and herbaceous borders as well as maintaining ponds, hedges, fences, walls, paths, roadways and woodland areas etc. He / She will carry out horticultural operations along with lawn maintenance using both hand and mechanical equipment. Additional duties include cleaning the drives and pathways of debris, litter picking, clearing snow and applying grit salt will be part of the role and periodically assist with non-gardener tasks within the estates team.

Applicants should hold a minimum of level 2 horticultural qualification, have horticultural / landscaping experience and a good general garden machinery knowledge. PA1 / PA6 spraying certificates and CS30/31 chainsaw certificates would be an advantage.

Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills, be self-motivated and be capable of working alone or as part of a team and are comfortable working outside in all weathers.

Reporting to the Head of Programmes & People, you will work closely with our Programme Leads to understand the requirements and source materials that maintain Delight’s high-quality arts programmes. You’ll be an exceptional project coordinator with very strong attention to detail and a proven record in coordinating, problem-solving and effective communication.

This role requires someone that is detail focused and is not fazed by managing many resources across multiple programmes.

Key responsibilities

Procurement

• Research materials/resources to programme specification requirements

• Develop relationships with suppliers

• Pack resources for each programme according to specification

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Medical Devices Safety Engineer to join the Clinical Asset Team. Your role is to support the Procurement & Clinical Asset Manager and be responsible for and ensure a high level of compliance is maintained whilst overseeing maintenance responses, keeping pivotal databases up to date, updating jobs on the CAFM system, compliance reporting, and updating asset management systems.

This role is not open to sponsorship.

Role Requirements

• Provide operational expertise to all matters pertaining to clinical assets including compliance, asset management, service management and lifecycle management.
• Working alongside the project teams for hoist and bath installations
• Ensuring clinical assets onsite are compliant or taken out of service.
• Ensuring LOLERs (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) and servicing are carried out with the preferred contracted suppliers.
• Supporting the Medical Devices Assistant to refer jobs to the appropriate contractor, using CAFM systems to create a document trail and manage frequently broken items, escalating issues to the Procurement and Clinical Asset Manager as appropriate.
• Approving purchase orders as required, appropriately storing relevant documents accessible to the team with expenditure tracked. Ensuring appropriate service contracts for all clinical assets are in place alongside any budget restrictions and existing commitments
• Assist with the implementation and changes made to processes within the Medical Device & Equipment Management Policy across site, for approval via the Procurement and Clinical Asset Manager and Head of Procurement & Contract Management
• Providing the Bed Audit Condition report to Therapy on a quarterly basis
• Overseeing bed/mattress/large equipment moves including those for new admissions with placements and attending admission meetings
• Chairing and planning the CAWG (Clinical Asset Working Group) taking of minutes and actions
• Overseeing clinical asset ticket closures
• Undertake other or additional duties that are within your skills and abilities, as the organisation may reasonably require from time to time.
