About the Role

This is a key supporter-facing role where you will:

• Be the friendly first point of contact for members and prospective members via phone, email, and other channels.

• Handle inbound and outbound calls, including proactively reaching out to members to address cancellations, encourage upgrades, or convert cash supporters into ongoing members.

• Maintain accurate supporter data, preferences, and interactions in Salesforce CRM.

• Collaborate with our Digital Marketing Officer, Data & CRM Officer, and Gifts in Wills Officer to nurture relationships and move supporters through their journey, ensuring that every member feels appreciated and connected to our mission.

• Support the Marketing and Communications team with occasional wider projects, such as campaigns, virtual or in-person events, or member engagement initiatives.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Compassionate and member-focused, with a genuine desire to make every interaction count.

• Highly organised and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.

• Confident and professional on the phone and in written communication.

• Comfortable with outbound calling — experience in telephone fundraising or supporter upgrade calling is desirable.

• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Comfortable with technology, ideally with some experience using CRMs (Salesforce experience is a bonus).

• Experienced in supporter care, customer service, or a similar role (desirable but not essential).

Key objectives and responsibilities

• Use the database (Access Charity CRM) to maintain accurate and detailed records, manage relationships, and coordinate actions and deadlines.
• Research and identify new opportunities, and write and submit high quality, targeted proposals to secure support from new and lapsed funders.
• Prepare written reports on activities, progress and income against objectives.
• Ensure the impact of our work is clear, visible and effectively communicated in our social media, on our website and in our Impact Report.
• Liaise with internal staff to compile project information for funding applications, and build positive, professional relationships internally and externally.
• Gather case studies for use in fundraising communications, applications and reports.

The King's Trust is currently going through an exciting period of development. This role incorporates our partnership with the Department of Health where we are working to support 10,000 young people into the sector.  We need a fantastic leader to help us achieve our ambitions across East Midlands- with particular focus on Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, Derby City, Leicester City and Peterborough, and ensure the success of our Health and Social Care programmes and partnerships.

This role will involve leading a small team of delivery staff working to support young people in the East Midlands. We are passionate about flexible working but it’s worth being aware that this role will be based across Nottingham, Derby, and Leicester, and you will be required to travel across the patch to support your team and our delivery partners. 

As part of the Leadership Team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of our Health and Social Care programmes, in line with contractual requirements. You will lead the Health and Social Care team to develop and implement our delivery plan and ensure we meet targets, ensuring that every young person engaged progresses with an appropriate pathway of learning and development and one to one support. At Kids Matter, we are committed to delivering effective coaching. All Support Coaches are given the opportunity to go through the coaching accreditation process with ICF to become an Associate Certified Coach (ACC). Kids Matter provides the support and supervision for this to take place, and will cover the cost of the accreditation if the individual remains employed as a Support Coach for the two years following applying for accreditation. If the individual leaves before two years, a percentage of the accreditation cost will be required to pay back.

Post holders will be expected to undertake holistic assessment of need both remotely (over the telephone and online) and when required in person across their region. You will be expected to work with individuals who may have complex and sometimes challenging welfare needs, assisting them by identifying appropriate support from within both the RAF Benevolent Fund and the wider statutory and military charity sector, ensuring that support is made available to meet their need through the case working process. 

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a social welfare role supporting individuals and will have strong people and relationship-building skills, as well as empathy with or understanding of issues affecting the Armed Forces community.

Responsibilities of our Programme Manager - Technical:

- Lead, plan, and deliver strategically significant technical programmes across the organisation

- Collaborate closely with the Change & Project Management Team and Head of IT & Data

- Apply structured programme management methodologies to ensure delivery within scope, schedule, and budget

- Drive meaningful and sustainable organisational change through programme outcomes.

- Support the implementation of IT foundations work, bridging technical execution and strategic oversight

- Provide subject matter expertise in IT projects and digital transformation initiatives.

- Operate as a hands-on leader, ensuring alignment between technical delivery and strategic goals

About the Change team:

The Change and PMO team sit within the Finance & Shared Services Directorate.  The team are responsible for the development and delivery of strategic projects and programmes and the successful adoption of change at Cats Protection. It’s a very exciting time to join Cats Protection, with an ambitious 10-year strategy and significant investment in the areas of change and improvement required to get us there.

What we’re looking for in our Programme Manager - Technical:

- recognised programme management qualification

- Solid IT knowledge, with understanding of key functions and their role in successful project delivery

- expert in IT and digital transformation, with experience in a similar role

- experience of designing strong change management techniques into programmes

- experienced in embedding effective change management into programme design

- experienced in programme design, reporting, and managing complex multi-project environments with interdependencies and diverse stakeholders

- experienced in managing and developing teams in both direct and matrix environments

- confident engaging with technical specialists on various technical matters

We are seeking an individual to undertake the dual role of promoting the profile of the RAF Benevolent Funds welfare offer, whilst also carrying out welfare casework. This is a community-based position working from home but covering the South East of England, East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey, Kent and Essex.

Post holders will be expected to undertake holistic assessment of need both remotely (over the telephone and online) and when required in person across their region. You will be expected to work with individuals who may have complex and sometimes challenging welfare needs, assisting them by identifying appropriate support from within both the RAF Benevolent Fund and the wider statutory and military charity sector, ensuring that support is made available to meet their need through the case working process.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a social welfare role supporting individuals and will have strong people and relationship-building skills, as well as empathy with or understanding of issues affecting the Armed Forces community.

This is home based and the candidate must have their own vehicle for use of traveling around the region covered. Occasional travel to London will be required. The successful candidate for this role will need to be Enhanced DBS checked and prove they have the right to work in the UK.

Churches Conservation Trust (CCT) is the national charity caring for historic churches at risk. As the operator of the third largest heritage estate in charitable ownership in the UK, our 356 historic churches include examples of irreplaceable architecture, archaeology and art from 1,000 years of English history.

CCT has an international award-winning reputation in heritage conservation and regeneration. All churches in our care are listed, mostly Grade I and II*, and some are Scheduled Ancient Monuments.

Without our care, these buildings might have disappeared entirely. Instead, they are enjoyed as social, tourism, educational and cultural resources, kept open, in use, and living once again in the heart of their communities.

Overall job purpose

The future of CCT’s outstanding collection of historic churches depends on us supporting communities around our churches caring for, opening, using and raising money for them. The Lead Local Community Officer will play the prime role in ensuring that local people are engaged, recruited, trained and supported.

The Lead Local Community Officer will lead the regional team of Local Community Officers to support, recruit, liaise with and develop volunteer and community supporters to care, open, use and raise money for the CCT’s collection of historic churches.

They will head the Church Planning process for the region, ensuring every church maintains and develops their co-created Church Plan.
