About Woman's Trust

Woman’s Trust was established almost thirty years ago and is the leading specialist in mental health services for women. Led by and for women, it aims to ensure that women affected by domestic abuse can live a safe and healthy life, free from further harm. Our approach is trauma-informed and person-centred, empowering survivors on their journey to recover from the trauma. We support 900 women and children annually, with an income of £1.3m and 40 staff. About the role

As a Counselling Project Administrator, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient project administration of Woman’s Trust Counselling services.

This role is part-time, working 28 hours per week to cover a period of maternity leave with a start date of December 2025.

Brighton and Hove Speak Out is an innovative advocacy charity. We support people with learning disabilities to have a voice and choice and control over their lives by providing a range of advocacy services and community projects.

About the role

We are seeking to recruit an advocate for adults and young people (17+) with learning disabilities, who will:

• Deliver 1-1 advocacy casework on a broad range of issues that enables people with learning disabilities to express their views and wishes, understand their rights and options, communicate with professionals and address issues they face.
• Coordinate Speak Out’s Drop-in advocacy service, providing time limited 1-1 advocacy within drop-in sessions.
• Develop peer advocacy at drop-in sessions.

About you

The successful candidate will need excellent communication and organisational skills. They will be able to manage a complex workload and work independently within a framework of supervision. Experience of advocacy or work with vulnerable clients is essential. Experience of working with people with learning disabilities and knowledge of learning disability services is an advantage. A full induction and training will be provided as well as ongoing peer mentoring and support. It would be desirable for the successful candidate to hold the national qualification in independent advocacy, however this can be undertaken once in post.

Head of Programme Management

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Head of Programme Management to lead the delivery of two flagship initiatives, Inside Job and Choirs Beating Time. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality, consistent delivery across prisons and the community.

You will be based in Birmingham or London. Expensed travel will be part of the role to attend our prisons, for partner meetings and organisational collaboration. It’s essential you can drive, and you have access to a car. We also have a long-standing partnership based in Newcastle.

Working closely with the CEO and COO, you’ll help shape operational strategy, refine delivery processes, and scale the impact of our peer-led employment and music-based rehabilitation programmes. This is a leadership role at the heart of an innovative, mission-driven organisation committed to supporting people leaving prison into meaningful work and purposeful lives.

Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to obtain security clearance from the Ministry of Justice to work within prisons. This clearance enables team members to have key access and carry out their duties safely and effectively.

• Inside Job is the UK’s first peer-led employment initiative supporting people leaving prison into sustainable work. The programme empowers those with lived experience of the justice system to support others, reducing reoffending and creating meaningful opportunities.
• Choirs Beating Time uses music to build confidence, connection, and hope in prison and beyond. Through creativity and collaboration, it helps participants develop transferable skills and a renewed sense of purpose.

Head of Programmes is a key role with significant scope to grow as the charity evolves. You’ll lead on the day-to-day delivery of our programmes, including our largest single programme, Maths Circles: a small-group-based maths enrichment programme engaging talented young mathematicians nationwide. About Women in Prison

Women in Prison is a national, women-led, feminist organisation.  We deliver front line support to women harmed by the criminal justice system, through our work in prisons, in the community and ‘through the prison gate’ as they resettle back into their communities. We also campaign for systems change that addresses the root causes of offending, reduces the harmful impact of prison, and creates workable, community-based alternatives to imprisonment.  
 

Job Purpose:

Women in Prison’s Advocates deliver high-quality, trauma-informed, independent advocacy for women in communities and in prisons, which focuses on early intervention, and holistic provision as part of a ‘whole system’ multi-agency response that looks to address the root causes of women’s offending.

Key Responsibility Areas

1. Provide high-quality, trauma-responsive advocacy and support to a caseload of women in contact with, or at risk of being in contact with the criminal justice system.
2. Undertake risk and needs assessments and co-producing bespoke support plans with women across the nine pathways to reoffending.
3. Monitor case management systems to ensure accurate and timely data recording, aligning with contract KPIs and WIP policies.
4. Champion the core values of Women in Prison, including social justice and feminism in all internal and external communications, articulating their importance to the work we do.

The London Diocesan Fund (LDF) is seeking an Area Giving and Finance Advisor (Kensington) to play a key role within the Area Finance team, based at Causton Street.

Job Summary

The Area Giving and Finance Advisor provides comprehensive finance support to churches within the Kensington Area, aiding them in the development of their ministries, manage Common Fund giving and to support the Area Bishop’s staff team in the management of resources including monitoring clergy post numbers, curate funding, and other financial matters. As part of a small team of Area Giving and Finance Advisers, the role involves offering training, resources, and advice on parish financial management and administration, and advice on various giving methods, including online and contactless options. Additionally, the role entails promoting generous giving through training initiatives, facilitating the award of grants and loans to churches from Area funds, and fostering effective communication and relationship-building between the Area team, Finance team, and parish officers.

Job responsibilities:

· Support churches in effective financial management, compliance, and stewardship of resources.

· Provide finance training, advice, and resources to clergy, PCCs, and parish officers.

· Assist diocesan leaders with Common Fund giving and the allocation of Area resources.

· Facilitate and monitor grants and loans awarded to churches.

· Promote a culture of generosity and encourage varied giving methods, including online, contactless, and the Parish Giving Scheme.

· Deliver training and resources to support generous giving and stewardship.

· Build strong relationships and communication between parishes, Area teams, and the diocesan Finance team.

· Collaborate with the National Giving Team on parish support initiatives.

· Support Area staff and councils in monitoring posts, curate funding, and other resource matters.

· Work occasional evenings and weekends as required.

· Undertake other duties appropriate to the role.

Person Specification

Essential

· Experience of encouraging charitable giving. 

· Experience managing a wide variety of professional relationships.

· Understanding of the ethos and mission of the Church of England, and of the role of parish clergy.

· Effective written and oral communication skills.

· Numerate and financially astute – comfortable working with financial data.

· Christian faith with empathy to the mission and values of the Church of England.

· Right to work in the UK.

· The person will not require a DBS check.

· Experience of charity accounting (accounting qualifications are not a requirement) (desirable)
