Role Summary
We are looking for a passionate and effective Autistic Lived Experience Trainer to support us to deliver an exciting new programme of work. We have been commissioned by an NHS organisation to deliver and support the roll out of autism-informed care training to all staff working in their mental health inpatient settings. This programme of work will run for 9 months, and will include the delivery of various half day and full day autism-informed training sessions both in-person and online. We will also be working closely with Experts by Experience to become skilled and confident in delivery of this training to support the organisational sustainability of this knowledge. The programme of work will also embed an evaluation of the training to demonstrate learning and impact.
The Autistic Lived Experience Trainer will be working closely alongside our Lived Experience Lead to deliver all aspects of the programme, with support from our wider staff team.
Role Description
- Co-facilitate training sessions both online and in-person to staff from various professions and in various roles across mental health in-patient settings.
- Deliver pre-prepared content and facilitate reflective conversations.
- Monitor feedback and adjust content and delivery as necessary.
- Collect and analyse feedback data, both qualitative and quantitative.
- Support Experts by Experience to become confident with delivery of content.
- Ensure training content remains relevant and includes the latest research, alongside lived experience insight.
- Use own lived experience insight to supplement content and support reflection and catalyse change.
- Liaise with NHS colleagues to support training session logistics
- To represent Neurodiverse Connection nationally, regionally and locally as appropriate and to promote the work that we do.
- To work alongside the Neurodiverse Connection staff and associate team to ensure delivery of high-quality work.
- Frequent travel within Norfolk and Suffolk to deliver in person training.
- Some national travel may also be required to support training and delivery on other projects.

Core Responsibilities:
- Scope, commission, and manage evaluation projects to generate actionable evidence for commissioning and service delivery, ensuring effective supplier, project management, and contractor relationships

- Collate evaluation and programme data for organization-level impact reports

Candidate:
You will be able to demonstrate:
- Minimum 5 years' experience managing research and evaluation projects
- Strong understanding of evaluation techniques, including expertise in commissioning various evaluation approaches, including process, quantitative impact, and theory-based evaluations
- Experience in developing procurement materials and briefing external suppliers, managing research commissions, and ensuring quality and compliance with financial and contractual requirements
- Proven ability to draft research materials, analyse data, and produce high-quality outputs (quantitative and qualitative)
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data from a range of sources
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, skilled in communicating research findings to both internal teams and external audiences, including non-researchers

Spring Community Hub exists to ensure that no one in our Southwark community goes hungry. But we don’t just provide food:
We work alongside people to help them escape poverty, build confidence, and find community.
Our principal activity is the prevention of food poverty and food insecurity by offering culturally appropriate food, fresh fruits, and vegetables as well as dietary and religiously appropriate food which we have continued to run at our five-week sessions to local people for as long as they address the underlying cause.
We also provide a range of wraparound support, including advice services, particularly around employment and immigration through our Back2Work Team, Holiday Clubs for Children, Youth Groups, a Clothing Bank and our Spring Up Women’s group.

The Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) is seeking an Interim Head of Membership Engagement and Strategy to lead a critical transformation of our membership and marketing functions. Who we are
The Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) is the professional body for speech and language therapists across the UK. The RCSLT has over 22,000 members and employs around 65 staff predominately based in a London office. The RCSLT also has offices in Belfast, Edinburgh, and Cardiff.
Our mission is to improve the lives of people with communication and swallowing needs by facilitating and promoting research, producing guidance, holding events, and influencing government. We aim to promote better education and training for speech and language therapists and provide information to our members and the public about speech and language therapy.
The role
The Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) is looking for an experienced professional to review and transform our current membership and marketing functions. In this pivotal role, you’ll shape and deliver a unified, efficient, and future-focused engagement strategy that reflects the evolving needs of our members.
You will lead and support a talented team, which includes the Enquiries Team and the Membership and Marketing Manager, ensuring we have the right structures, systems, and capacity in place to deliver outstanding service. Your leadership will enhance how we connect with members and customers - both online and offline - driving improved engagement, satisfaction, and retention.

What we are looking for
The ideal candidate will have a background and experience working within a membership organisation and have a clear understanding of what it takes to build a high-performing, member-focused function. You will bring strong time management skills, be self-motivated, highly organised, and capable of working efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Most importantly, you’ll understand the aims and values of the RCSLT and demonstrate the ability to embed these into your work and strategic approach.

Ascension Community Trust (ACT) is a much-loved community-based charity in Custom House, Newham. We deliver a range of projects including Newham District Foodbank (a Trussell Trust foodbank run by ACT and two community partners), welfare benefits advice, immigration advice, ESOL classes, work with adults with learning difficulties, as well as work with children, young people and their families.
This an exciting time for the programme with a SEND school being built next door to our centre, and with established relationships with several care homes – we expect that this programme will go from strength to strength.
The programme currently consists of:
- Inclusive Art Group
- Supported Volunteering
- Weekly Community Meal
- Gardening Project with children from a local SEND school.
You will have the leadership skills to support a small team of sessional staff. You will be at ease in relating to adults and children with learning difficulties as well as their parents and carers. You will be passionate about the well being and integration of people with learning difficulties with an understanding of their needs.
