The Role

Reporting to the Individual Giving Manager the successful candidate will support in the delivery of the Individual Giving strategy, programme and associated campaigns. They will play a key role in shaping and delivering personalised supporter journeys that foster loyalty, increase lifetime value, and strengthen the emotional connection between our supporters and our mission. This role will work alongside the fundraising and marketing and communications teams, and engage with the wider organisation — including pilots and paramedics — to share the story of SCAA and ensure our supporters feel connected to our mission.

This is a full-time role based either in Perth, at Scone Airport, where SCAA headquarters are located, or at our Aberdeen base at Aberdeen Airport (if based in Aberdeen there will be the requirement for the successful candidate to attend our Perth base on an occasional basis). The usual hours and days of work will be Monday to Friday, 9am—5pm. SCAA supports flexible and hybrid working arrangements—our current arrangements consist of a minimum of two office days per week.

We are recruiting for a Fundraising Officer to join our Fundraising team located within our Marketing team. The role will lead on programme-based funding, through trusts and foundations, and corporates. The Fundraising Officer (FO) will develop and maintain our Trusts and Foundations funding pipeline, which includes multiple five and six figure funders. The FO works closely with every team at Scottish Book Trust to fundraise for a range of literature, arts and education projects. Responsible for fundraising administration including gift processing and thanking, you will also support on fundraising events, impact story gathering, and donor stewardship where required. There is flexibility within the role to incorporate other elements of communications and fundraising if desired. These roles will work closely with women and families providing coaching support to improve wellbeing throughout the perinatal period, and establish good foundations for family health moving forward. The role

Effective financial management is central to our strategy and operating model. The Finance Manager will be crucial in determining how we manage our finances, resources and operations whilst embedding a culture of financial efficiency and effective controls.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Interim Finance Manager will lead on financial matters and be expected to provide critical financial information, insightful analysis and timely reporting to facilitate the growth of the Charity.

The Housing Independent Gender Violence Advocate (IGVA) will be embedded within borough housing teams to facilitate the dual working that will ensure that survivors’ safety and housing needs are met. This includes:

· Close working relationships with Housing colleagues 

· Provision of specialist knowledge relating to DA for Housing Officers and Homelessness Teams to draw on 

· Specialist support for survivors at the moment of crisis 

· Provision of advocacy; supporting survivors to access safe accommodation 

· Ongoing support from the IGVA from wider DA service, including access to group clinical supervision, casework management meetings, reflective practice sessions, one-to-one supervision from service manager 

The Housing IGVA will work closely with victims of gender-based violence from the point of crisis, to provide high quality independent advocacy and support to survivors of gender-based violence at the highest risk and their children. The role will be part of increasing the ability of partner agencies to recognise, reject and respond appropriately and safely to all forms of gender-based violence (including domestic violence, sexual, financial and emotional abuse, female genital mutilation, forced marriage and honour-based violence).

The job involves working within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership protocols and procedures that prioritise the safety of survivors. The job involves informing survivors of the full range of civil, criminal, housing and practical options that might increase their safety. The post holder will empower survivors by providing them with emotional, practical and personal welfare support especially around complex housing needs.

The job involves ensuring that women are provided with a safe, supportive and welcoming environment, enabling them to access their rights, make decisions and increase their life options.

This post is restricted to women due to the nature of the role. The Occupational Requirement under Schedule 9 (part 1) of the Equality Act 2010 applies.

The Trading Manager role is a full-time, permanent post within the Trading Support Department. Hours: 37 hours a week

Are you and experienced fundraiser that can hold and deliver a strategy?

We’re looking for an experienced fundraiser who can work alone and confidently to shape and grow our fundraising income.

At Age UK West Sussex, Brighton & Hove (AUKWSBH), we’re proud of the difference we make but we know we can’t stand still. With an ageing population and increasing demand for our services, we’re looking for a highly experienced Fundraiser Manager to help us grow our voluntary income and deepen our impact even further.

This is a pivotal role, leading the development and delivery of a sustainable fundraising strategy that supports our mission to help people love later life.

You will initially work alone as we shape and grow the team going forward. You’ll be confident and assertive in working across the different fundraising income streams and with your knowledge and experience, guide us on what we need to do next.

What You’ll Do

• Raise at least £500,000 in new money per annum, with a robust fundraising plan.
• Be an exceptional storyteller and writer, who can translate our impact into powerful cases for support across applications, campaigns and donor appeals.
• Shape the future of fundraising at AUKWSBH, advising on priorities and helping to grow the team. 

What You’ll Bring

• Knowledge and expertise in all areas of raising voluntary income, knowing where to spend time and energy for an organisation of our size and location.
• Confidence and compliance of fundraising best practice, fundraising governance and law.
• The ability to work independently, with the scope and ambition to grow the fundraising function and resources over time, including the possibility of line managing staff in future.
