Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver a community and events fundraising programme to maximise supporter relationships and fundraising opportunities.

- Support the development and promotion of all fundraising activities within the Fundraising Team.
- Maintain accurate records on Raisers Edge to agreed standards and timescales.
About You:
- Proven experience in achieving/exceeding targets in the not-for-profit or commercial sectors.
- Experience working in a customer/supporter-focused environment.
- Good digital marketing skills, including the use of Facebook Ads Manager and fundraising platforms.
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across departments and with external partners.
- Strong IT skills, including knowledge of Windows, MS Office, and fundraising databases (Blesma uses Raisers Edge).
- Demonstratable ability to plan, prioritise and deliver work to deadlines.
- Demonstrates genuine interest in supporting veterans and the mission of Blesma.
- Collaborative and adaptable, with a professional and positive approach to working with others.

About this key role

Do you want to work with multiple-award winning charity, FoodCycle? Our vision is to make food poverty, loneliness and food waste a thing of the past for every community – including our school communities!
We’ve partnered with 4 schools across London to bring our free community meal to their families after school hours, with the additional goal of helping connect families with each other and the school and introducing kids to new healthy food.
We’re looking for some additional help over the next 6 months to support the volunteer teams on site and make these meals happen. You’ll need to have an interest and experience in working with kids and families!
By joining us you’ll gain an understanding of different aspects of local project delivery for a national charity. You’ll be hands-on and have an immediate impact each day, leading small teams of volunteers who cook in the kitchen and host our guests to create a positive and welcoming environment and a nutritious vegetarian meal.
Our school meals happen on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, and we would ideally like you to work your hours across these three afternoons/evenings. You’ll be supporting 2 meals per week on average, with around 5 hours required per meal. That leaves 5 additional hours to join team meetings and complete other duties.
You’ll be supported by our experienced operational team, and we will equip you with a package of training and shadowing, including specific training around food safety, safeguarding and working within the lively environment of schools!

Gypsies & Travellers Wales is seeking a Skills and Employment Support Officer to work alongside Gypsy and Traveller communities to strengthen skills, build confidence, and expand opportunities in employment, training, volunteering, and further education.
Key responsibilities include:

What you’ll do
Working closely with our Senior Expenditure Clerks and Expenditure Supervisor, you’ll:
Process purchase invoices and payments accurately and promptly.
Match invoices with purchase orders and resolve queries as they arise.
Reconcile supplier statements and support with banking and petty cash.
Monitor supplier portals, scan and distribute documentation, and keep records organised both physically and digitally.
Support colleagues across the Finance Processing Team to ensure everything runs smoothly.

What you will be doing
This is a strategic and creative role at the heart of Hearing Dogs for Deaf People’s national fundraising and engagement efforts. The post holder will lead the development and delivery of national community and challenge event programmes across all four UK regions (England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland).
Using strong project and campaign management skills, the role will grow existing initiatives charity owned initiatives such as the Great British Dog Walk and the 28 Challenge and develop new, audience-led campaigns that inspire public participation, drive fundraising, and deepen long-term engagement with the charity.
In addition to the owned initiatives, the role will promote Hearing Dogs for Deaf People to participants of external national events such as The Great North Run or the London Marathon.
The ultimate objectives are to drive income generation and guide supporters from initial involvement to becoming volunteers for the broader work of the charity and legacy pledgers.
Desired candidate
- Proactive and confident self-starter with proven experience in campaign management, digital fundraising, and audience engagement.
- Strong understanding of social media tools, digital platforms, and challenge event management (e.g. Fundraising).
- Excellent project management and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Ability to develop creative propositions and media plans based on audience insight.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with occasional travel to events and HQ.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills coupled with an enthusiastic and positive approach.
