The Case Coordinator will work closely with the Head of Direct Work to ensure the delivery of high-quality Independent Social Work Reports (ISWRs) across the direct work strand of SWWB. The Case Coordinator will supervise volunteer social workers, carry out social work assessments themselves, and support quality assurance processes to maintain excellence in social work practice. 

We are looking for a creative, driven, compassionate, Communications Lead to develop, lead, and implement an integrated communications strategy that supports our ambition to double the number of adults learning to read with Read Easy UK by the end of our current strategy.

As a strong communications generalist, with strategic and operational expertise, the Communications Lead will work closely with employees, volunteers and other key stakeholders to strengthen the charity’s national brand and position. This role covers all aspects of communications including media relations, digital communications, brand communications, stakeholder and internal communications.

The post holder will shape and deliver communications activity that inspires, informs, and engages our key audiences, including volunteers, potential Readers, funders, the media, and partners across the UK.

The successful candidate will be strategic and agile and will enjoy shaping strategy alongside delivering communications activity. This is a standalone role, leading and delivering internal and external communications for the organisation in collaboration with other key partners.

Location: Fully Remote/Home-based with very occasional travel to regional groups as required and for up to 3 team meetings per annum (currently held in Birmingham).

Reports to: Read Easy UK CEO.

The Role

About the role

The resettlement team provides advice and support for refugees on resettlement and relocation schemes to help them access services and mainstream provision and establish community links. Working closely with local stakeholders and in partnership with other voluntary sector agencies running similar services across the UK, the Refugee Council resettlement team promotes both the integration and independence of this group.

The Refugee Council work in partnership with Migration Yorkshire and Local Authorities across Yorkshire and Humberside to deliver the regional Resettlement programmes including the UK Resettlement Scheme, Afghan resettlement programmes (ARAP and ACRS), VPRS and VCRS. The resettlement team provides advice and support for resettled refugees to help them access services and mainstream provision and establish community links. Working closely with local stakeholders and in partnership with other voluntary sector agencies running similar services across the UK, the Refugee Council resettlement team promotes both the integration and independence of this group.

The Refugee Council work in partnership with Migration Yorkshire and Local Authorities across Yorkshire and Humberside and Bassetlaw to deliver the regional Resettlement programmes. The Senior Resettlement Worker will work closely with the management teams in Migration Yorkshire and the relevant Local Authorities. The Senior Resettlement Worker will work with the Area Manager co-ordinate the work of the resettlement teams in South Yorkshire.  Along with the Area Manager Senior Resettlement Workers are responsible for the line management Resettlement Workers, who deliver direct services to clients and support with complex cases including safeguarding.

The South Yorkshire Resettlement Team works from the Sheffield office. This role will involve a hybrid of home and office work with outreach in the community. The role involves work across South Yorkshire including Doncaster, Rotherham, Sheffield and some work in Bassetlaw.

We are seeking a passionate London Director of Development to build and develop meaningful relationships, initially with London-based high-net-worth individuals, securing significant funding to grow Young Life International's impact on young people in London and beyond. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in expanding a mission-driven charity's capacity to transform young lives.

In this influential brand new role, you'll develop an active portfolio of major donors and potential major donors, working towards establishing new funding each fiscal year including annual and multi-year commitments. You'll cultivate relationships with high-net-worth individuals and major trusts, represent Young Life in high-level meetings and networking events, and plan impactful vision events to inspire and engage supporters. Working collaboratively with senior management and fundraising colleagues, you'll connect donor interests with different aspects of Young Life's mission, inviting supporters to experience first-hand the life-changing work being done. You'll also lead on securing grants from key UK trusts and oversee an effective stewardship process to retain and grow donor support.

With the potential for wider influence across the UK and Europe, you'll lead by example in donor stewardship, train the wider team, and play a key role in expanding Young Life International's philanthropy efforts.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:

• Proven ability to build strong relationships with major donors and secure funding in the range of £10,000+
• Experience in securing multi-year funding from trusts, foundations, and institutional donors

About the role

Reporting in to the Financial Planning & Analysis Lead, the Senior Finance Business Partner (Income) will champion strategic financial insight and support within the Income and Public Engagement Department, driving accurate financial planning, analysis, and reporting for income streams, working closely with fundraising and institutional teams, including the development of funding bids.

The post-holder will enable effective decision making through data-driven insights, ensuring financial sustainability and fosters a mindset that aligns with Christian Aid's strategic objectives

Some of the main responsibilities of the Senior Finance Business Partner (Income) include:

• Partner with the Income and Public Engagement team to develop and champion accurate income forecasts, budget plans, and financial models.
• Provide financial insights and challenge assumptions which drive and optimise income generation strategies, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
• Ensure financial reporting for income is accurate, timely, and meets internal and external compliance requirements, including donor regulations.
• Collaborate with fundraising teams to provide financial insights on donor trends, unrestricted vs. restricted income, and return on investment.
• Identify and drive the implementation of improvements in financial processes related to income tracking and reporting.
• Support the development of fundraising bids by providing financial expertise

About you

Who we are looking for

Essential:

• Professional finance qualification.
• Substantial experience in financial business partnering or financial planning and analysis.
• Demonstrable knowledge of income streams such as fundraising, grants, unrestricted/restricted income, and the financial implications of different funding sources. 
• Advanced knowledge of charity sector income streams and financial management.
• Understanding of donor reporting and compliance requirements.
• Understanding of fundraising finance and return on investment analysis.
• Understanding of financial systems and tools (e.g. SUN, Power BI, Excel).
• Highly developed skills in financial analysis, forecasting, and modelling.
• Highly developed skills in business partnering and stakeholder engagement.
• Highly developed skills in budgeting and variance analysis.
• Developed skills in financial reporting and donor compliance.

Desirable:

• ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• Experience working in an income-focused role is highly desirable.
• Experience in the non-profit/charity sector is desirable, particularly in Fundraising Finance, Donor Compliance, or Grant Income 
  Management.
