ZAKKI is a social startup focusing on creating an inclusive community for the elderly and people with disabilities. Our mission is to facilitate alms and donations collection and distribution to help the elderly and people with disabilities who work in the informal sector to get better livelihood through micro-business management, giving them greater market exposure.
We are still redesigning ZAKKI fully function product. We are expecting to develop the ZAKKI fully function product in the upcoming years.

With our expanding project and program, we needed professional remote volunteer to help us manage our social impact and social caused project/program to cater the community, society, and the beneficiaries in expeditious way.
The DIRECTOR will lead and manage the respective department that they choose to be part in. The Director will collaborate with the UIUX Manager and Developer Manager to manage and lead the project/department.
The ideal candidate is a highly analytical leader who will join our senior management team. You will be responsible for leading the company’s day-to-day business operations (managing budget, ensuring operational compliance is followed, and addressing administrative issues).
Responsibilities
• Measure the effectiveness of all processes (budget, operations, and management, etc.)
• Determine the product/project’s strategic growth as part of the executive team
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and projects
General Requirement:
• Very effective interpersonal skills, including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building;
• Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands;
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain a high level of donors and collaborators' trust and confidence
• Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using appropriate tools:
• ⁃ Agile Project Management tools such as Jira, Asana or equivalent
• ⁃ Google Suite/Google Workspace, all Office Tools
• Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels including the executive level;
• Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the “big picture” view;
• More than 5 years of professional working experience and around 2 years managerial working experience; or having MBA education with at least 1 year managerial working experience;

• Able to use versioning control systems such as GIT, GitLab, Github.

We’re looking for a communications-minded creator to lead Europia’s external newsletter (every two months) and coordinate content for the Annual Report. You’ll gather information, quotes and photography from staff, volunteers, partners and funders; shape it into clear, engaging content; and help present Europia’s impact in an accessible, on-brand way.
Key Responsibilities

Bi-monthly newsletter: Plan, draft, edit and build the external newsletter in Mailchimp (headlines, copy, visuals, links).

Annual Report coordination: Run a quarterly content cycle for the 2025–26 Annual Report - collect updates, data, quotes and photos; draft sections; support layout/visuals.

Content gathering: Proactively seek photos and quotes from staff, volunteers, partners and funders (with consent/attribution and basic accessibility).

Design & layout: Use Canva (and Mailchimp templates) to create consistent, on-brand assets for newsletters and report pages.

Quality & accessibility: Proofread, check links, follow brand guidelines (tone, fonts, colours), and apply accessibility best practice.

Light analytics: Track opens/clicks and note simple insights to improve future editions.

Collaboration: Liaise across teams and with external stakeholders to schedule inputs/approvals; maintain a tidy content tracker and deadlines.

Charity Trustee
You and Me Counselling are currently recruiting volunteer trustees to complement the committee members already in their role.
This is a home working role and will be for immediate start.
Our charity
You and Me Counselling is a charitable organisation established in 2011. We are a counselling and psychotherapy service based in Hornchurch, Essex that works with children, young people, adults, and their families in the boroughs of Havering, Barking & Dagenham, Redbridge, and Waltham Forest. Our counsellors and therapists work both within schools and from our counselling rooms located in Hornchurch and Ilford.
You and Me Counselling are an organisational member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP). This means we are fully governed by the BACP’s Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.
Job Description
As a trustee you will need to:
- Acknowledge emails at least once a day.
- Give a minimum of one hour per week to the role.
- Attend quarterly trustee meetings online.
- Ensure that You and Me Counselling pursues its stated objectives
- Ensure there is regular review of changes that might affect the organisation (political, financial, demographic, etc.)
- Ensure that the charity complies with charity law, company law and any other relevant legislation or regulations.
- Monitor finance to ensure that the charity applies its resources exclusively for its charitable objectives.
- Uphold the good name and values of You and Me Counselling.
- Ensure the effective and efficient administration of the organisation, including having appropriate policies and procedures in place.
- Ensure the financial stability of the organisation.
- Supervise, support and appraise the chief executive officer.
- Hold the chief executive officer to account for the management and administration of the charity.
- Ensure that the organisation acts in accordance with employment law and exercises a duty of care to its employees.
- Identify major risks to the organisation and put systems in place to mitigate or minimise the risks.
- Ensure that the organisation has a governance structure that is appropriate to a charity of its size/complexity, stage of development, and its charitable objectives
- Regularly review your own training needs and create an expectation of continuous professional development throughout the organisation.
