Role Summary.

The Onsite Administrative Assistant will provide essential operational and administrative support for the Roots Academy Essentials Onsite Program. This role will help ensure smooth communication, accurate documentation, and effective coordination between internal team members, instructors, campuses, and students. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organised, and proactive in maintaining digital records and supporting program onboarding processes.

Key tasks

• Create and send calendar invites for recurring and ad-hoc meetings.

• Manage, document and accurately store internal meeting minutes.

• Share action items and follow-ups in a timely manner.

• Track and record university campuses that have registered interest in hosting the Essentials Onsite Program.

• Prepare and manage Google Drive folders containing onboarding documents for university ISocs and MSAs we partner with.

Key responsibilities

Student Minds Trustees are expected to commit to the following: 

• Preparation and attendance at four board meetings a year. Board meetings are held online and take place on weekdays from 5 - 7.30 pm. 

• Preparation and attendance at two board away days each year, usually from 12.30 - 5 pm. Board away days are in person and usually take place in Leeds. Travel expenses can be claimed.

• Ad-hoc meetings and conversations with the senior management team as required. This usually constitutes approximately a further five working days a year.

If appointed, you will receive the training and onboarding you need to be a confident, contributing member of the board. We are also able to provide you with a board buddy to support you in your first few months.

Founded in 2013, Release Counselling and Therapy for Women is a charity that has supported the mental health of thousands of women across Sussex.

Over the last decade, we have developed a skilled and experienced therapy team, who offer a range of services to help women address the issues life throws at them.

Our support is unique as everything we do is created and led by qualified counsellors, and we have become best known for our Therapeutic Groups and Wellbeing Days for mums.  We also run a 1:1 counselling service for women, supporting them through those other challenges in life and are in the process of setting up couples counselling.

We are looking for qualified female counsellors or CBT therapists to provide 3 or more 1-1 or couples therapy online and to deliver weekly sessions for up to 18 weeks for 50 minutes. Counsellors can join an optional peer supervision group and our quarterly team catch up.

What are we looking for?

Deliver counselling sessions via our online system Cliniko.
Write factual client notes that are stored within Cliniko.

The Learning Circle currently meets monthly on a Wednesday evening at 8pm for an hour on Google Meet and spends voluntary time outside of the meeting completing agreed tasks remotely.

The Site Manager role is responsible for establishing and maintaining positive relationships with these ISoc/MSA committees and offering 1:1 support to ensure that they have an excellent educational experience.
 

Key tasks

• Actively establish and maintain positive relationships with ISoc/MSA committees and Student Ambassadors (ISoc/MSA representative) to ensure an exceptional onsite experience for students, and promote retention of sites.
   
• Be the point of contact for ISocs/MSAs: answer questions, offer light-touch support and coaching on ways to improve the class, engage on a 1:1 basis listening to their needs and concerns, and addressing these accordingly.
   
• Liaise with Student Ambassadors to ensure that logistics involved in marketing and running the class are taken care of by the ISoc/MSA.

The AGILE PROJECT MANAGER will manage either the UIUX Designer team or Developer team. He/She will collaborate with the Team Lead of the respective team to manage and lead the project.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, and project team members.

 •  Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them

General Requirement:

• • Very effective interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building
• • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands
• • In-depth knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence
• • Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using appropriate tools:
• ⁃ Agile Project Management tools such as Jira, Asana or equivalent
• ⁃ Google Suite, all Office Tools
• • Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels including the executive level
• • Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the “big picture” view

Specific Requirement:
Knowledge of one or more of these skills below is preferred;

• Knowledge on UI/UX Designing process
• Able to use versioning control system such as GIT, GitLab, Github.
• Proven ability to lead software development projects and ensure objectives, goals, and commitments are met

Join White Ribbon UK as a Trustee and help us end men’s violence against women. We are looking for someone who can bring experience, insight, and commitment to our board.

White Ribbon UK is the leading charity in England and Wales working to engage men and boys in ending men’s violence against women and girls. We do this by challenging harmful attitudes, behaviours, and systems that allow gender-based violence to continue. We encourage men and boys to take responsibility and become allies in creating a safer, more equal society.

As a trustee, you will help guide the charity’s work and make sure we stay true to our mission. You will work with other trustees and the CEO to oversee strategy, finances, and risk, and ensure the charity is well run and sustainable. This is a voluntary role; reasonable expenses will be reimbursed.

What You’ll Do

• Attend six board meetings a year (mostly online) and read papers in advance.

• Help set the charity’s strategy and monitor progress.

• Support and challenge the CEO and senior team.

• Uphold our values and commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.

Time Commitment

Around one day per month, including meetings and preparation.

Who We’re Looking For

We are in a period of growth, expansion and change.  So we are looking for people with  previous experience serving on a charity trustee board, with an understanding of small charities, who are keen to help us grow and an understanding that we will need to take some risks. We are looking for someone who understands charity governance and can bring skills in areas such as influencing policy makers, campaigning, fundraising, finance, and general governance.  You must share our commitment to ending men’s violence against women, social justice and gender equality and be willing to give your time and energy to help us achieve our goals.
