Responsibilities: Facilitators are responsible for designing creative and interactive workshops for our young people, and delivering these workshops with our young people. We run some of our workshops online and other workshops are held in London. All workshops are held during the school holidays, in the evening and on weekends.
The workshop facilitator role is flexible and as part of your role, you may be involved in:

Delivering and leading short workshops or courses, on behalf of GT Scholars (Online or offline)

Designing engaging, interactive and educational workshops and short courses for young people and ensuring that the content is targeted to suit different abilities and capabilities

Running your own bespoke workshops, eg. workshops in coding and technology

Managing short activities and Q&A sessions during our workshops

Working collaboratively with other event coordinators, volunteers, ambassadors, workshop facilitators and speakers at our events

Rate of pay: This is a self-employed role. You must be aged 18 or above. Facilitator sessions range from 2 to 6 hours. The rate of pay will vary based on the budget of the funder.

Purpose of the Role:

- Design and build health tools, such as BMI Index scales, health quizzes, medical screenings, assessments, and questionnaires, to enhance the website's interactivity and educational value.
- Expand and add new sections to the current website, such as the Projects and Impact sections, showcasing our projects and their impact through stories, videos, and case studies.
- Performance Optimisation: Enhance search engine rankings and overall website performance using expert-level SEO.
- Analytics and reporting: Track and analyse web traffic, sales metrics, and marketing data to measure success, forecast trends, and provide actionable insights to the bus.

Are you passionate about driving impact through strategic fundraising? Do you have experience in securing grants, sponsorships, and donor contributions for social impact projects? UNIMAC is looking for a Fundraising & Grant Writing Specialist to help us expand our reach and empower more women and youth through education, advocacy, mentorship, and leadership development.

What You’ll Do �� Grant Writing & Applications – Research, write, and submit compelling grant proposals to potential funders. �� Partnership Development – Identify and engage sponsors, donors, and corporate partners who align with our mission. �� Fundraising Campaigns – Plan and execute online and offline fundraising initiatives to support program sustainability. �� Donor Engagement – Develop strategies to maintain relationships with existing supporters and attract new donors. �� Impact Reporting – Assist in tracking and reporting fundraising outcomes to ensure transparency and effectiveness.

The Charities HR Network – Trustee
Following a period of significant growth, The Charities HR Network (CHRN) is looking for three new Trustees to join its board in 2025.
As the UK’s only network dedicated to supporting HR professionals in the charity sector, CHRN plays a vital role in connecting professionals, championing best practice, and providing tools and resources that really make a difference.
This is a voluntary role with real influence. Trustees help guide CHRN’s strategic direction, support the CEO and team, and ensure that its growing membership continues to be served in meaningful and forward-thinking ways.
Active for over 20 years, the CHRN now supports over 150 charities and is aiming to double this reach within the next three years. As part of this next chapter, CHRN is particularly keen to appoint trustees with experience in talent acquisition, learning and development, or organisational development. Two of these appointments will also help lead specialist groups in these areas.
CHRN welcomes applications from individuals with senior experience in HR or the charity sector. Previous board experience isn’t required, but the ability to think strategically, a collaborative approach, and a commitment to inclusion and equity is important.
Key details:
- Remote/virtual meetings (likely one per year face to face) – trustees can be based anywhere in the UK
- Time commitment: around 4–6 board and committee meetings per year
- Voluntary position with expenses covered
- A supportive and inclusive team culture, with opportunities to influence sector-wide change
- Personal and professional development through board-level experience, networking, and leadership of special interest groups
- Initial tenure of 3 years, with an option to extend for an additional 2 years
Trustees at CHRN are hands-on, insightful, and central to the success of the organisation. They work closely with the CEO and team to support service delivery, develop partnerships (including with the CIPD), and ensure that CHRN continues to meet the evolving needs of its members.
