About the role

You’ll be based in Sunderland, at our National Customer Service Centre (NCSC), located just 600 metres from our local PDSA Pet Hospital.

Our centre has been running in its current form for nearly a decade and is home to a friendly team of 60 colleagues, a great mix of full- and part-time team members who work together to deliver excellent service and results.

Over the years, the NCSC has evolved significantly, now handling a wide range of customer and supporter interactions. It’s an energetic, supportive environment where every conversation helps make a difference.

What you’ll do

• Make inspiring outbound calls to engage supporters, encourage donations, and promote PDSA’s work.
• Handle inbound calls related to fundraising with empathy and professionalism.
• Achieve personal and team income, service and quality targets.
• Build positive relationships with supporters through excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with Data Protection and fundraising regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of PDSA’s veterinary and fundraising activities.

NICE is a charity dedicated to improving the lives of people with movement disorders. Job Title: Recovery Worker

Location: West Ealing -  Step free access available

Salary: £27,000

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week on a rolling rota between Monday to Sunday varying shifts from 07:30 - 16:00 or 13:30 - 21:00. You may be required to work outside these hours as per service requirements. 

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team in based in Ealing. We support adults experiencing loneliness, isolation, and mental health challenges and providing pathways, support, and appropriate interventions that will enable successful resettlements, and deliver to achieve safer, integrated communities for our stakeholders. Marron House has 18 bed spaces and we provide personalised support around daily living skills such as budgeting, shopping, cooking, reminders to take medication and developing a structured weekly routine.

Key duties and responsibilities:

Audience Engagement

• Deliver exceptional customer care, ensuring all supporters and donors are thanked promptly—whatever the channel.

Person specification:

Essential Skills & Experience

• Customer Service Excellence: Proven experience delivering high-quality customer care, ideally in a fundraising, or educational setting. Ability to handle enquiries and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
• CRM and Data Management: Strong working knowledge of CRM systems (we use Beacon) including data entry, segmentation, and reporting. Experience with data imports/exports and maintaining data accuracy.
• Event Coordination: Experience planning and delivering events, including logistics, venue liaison, catering, and AV coordination. Comfortable acting as Duty Manager and supporting evening lectures and events.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage supporters, respond to enquiries, and write engaging responses.
• Digital Literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Eventbrite, and online giving platforms. Comfortable using digital tools to manage bookings, communications, and supporter journeys.

We are seeking a  committed and creative Outreach and Communications Officer who will be responsible for sharing our knowledge and expertise as widely as possible.

About The Role

The Unity Project (TUP) supports people who are facing poverty and homelessness because their immigration status allows them ‘no recourse to public funds’ (NRPF).  We believe NRPF should not exist and we are working to end it. Until then, we seek to minimise its impact by supporting people to make the ‘change of conditions’ (CoC) application to access public funds. However, as the number of people living under NRPF continues to grow, we know we will never be able to meet the need for CoCs. Ensuring that our knowledge and experience is shared - with advisors, support services, community groups and individuals who could make applications themselves - is vital. Raising awareness of our work also supports our income diversification strategy by building corporate partnerships and individual donations.

In this role, you will be leading The Unity Project’s outreach and communications work in order to increase awareness of the Change of Conditions process and the support The Unity Project can offer to individuals and organisations.  Your first priorities will include mapping CoC provision across the country; working with the Director to design and implement a communications strategy to engage applicants, advice organisations, corporate partners and donors; and creating a suite of CoC resources to share online. Summary of the role:

The Income Generation Support Officer will provide day-to-day administrative departmental support and support to the department Director to ensure the successful delivery of the organisation’s operations in an efficient manner. This role will focus on generating reports, tracking progress, and ensuring all the necessary processes relating to compliance, finance and HR are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

About the Role:

1. Maintain and improve departmental filing systems to achieve maximum efficiency.
2. Prepare purchase orders and document payments according to Muslim Aid’s financial procedure and in conjunction with the Finance team to ensure speedy payment of invoices for internal / external stakeholders.
3. Undertake small-scale project work including researching, analysing and recommending next steps.
4. Provide support to the IGM management team in responding to correspondence, booking meetings, minute-taking, planning and supporting events, organising travel and preparing travel itineraries and relevant tasks as required.
5. Track Managers delivery of action points to ensure timeframes and outcomes are met, escalating to Head or Director of IGM for further action as appropriate.
6. Undertake full inbox and extensive diary management, ensuring an effective use of time and preparation of information in advance. Sort, redirect and action emails and review an effective ‘bring up’ system to brief and prepare the Director Income Generation and Marketing for meetings / events.

Purpose of the Role

Manage and support a caseload of volunteers to empower vulnerable families in giving their children the best start in life, occasionally providing direct support.  Contribute to volunteer recruitment, training, development, and the effective day-to-day operation of the organisation

Key Responsibilities. As a HSH Co-ordinator you will:

• Carry out initial home-visits and support families to set and monitor goals
• Match volunteers with families according to need and capacity

• Supervise an appropriate caseload of volunteers and enable them to support families
• Monitor safeguarding concerns and liaise with the Operations Manager/Director as needed

• Support the evaluation of the impact of HSH’s volunteering programme and family support
• Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with key health partners, including those from Parent Infant Mental Health Teams, Midwifery, IAPT, Perinatal Teams, Health Visiting and other groups

Sounds great, what will I be doing?

As a Support Worker, make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with complex health and support needs. You'll manage a small caseload under the guidance of a Team Manager, working collaboratively with carers and professionals to promote independence, wellbeing, and personal growth.

In this hands-on role, you'll deliver day-to-day care, assist with activities and appointments, support medication management, and contribute to care planning. You'll help maintain a safe and welcoming environment, encourage social connections, and champion a strengths-based approach. Full training, including a QCF qualification, will be provided to support your development.

We're seeking compassionate and committed individuals with a strong understanding of mental health and a proactive approach to supporting service users. You'll be confident in recognising signs of declining wellbeing and taking appropriate action, while promoting independence and dignity in everyday tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care.

You'll need to be flexible with working hours, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins, and willing to travel across Hestia services. Strong communication, basic IT skills, and a working knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety, and equality and diversity principles are essential. Most importantly, you'll be driven by a person-centred approach that puts service users at the heart of everything you do.

When will I be working?

You will be working 35.58 hours a week on a rolling rota, including evenings and weekends.

One25 is a Bristol charity for women moving from crisis and trauma towards independence in the community. It is a highly respected charity working with some of the most marginalised women in Bristol.

One25 services have been developed to meet women at their point of need, with love and practical support. We do this through our night and early morning outreach service which is a lifeline for nearly 200 women on Bristol’s streets. Our Health Hub provides support for women to access health services and healthcare professionals. Our caseworkers offer intensive one-to-one care in any area of need: from support in court to finding somewhere safe to live.

We are recruiting a Van Outreach Worker to lead One25’s van outreach shifts on alternate weekends. The role provides support and sign-posting to women who are street-sex working, leads and supports a small team of volunteers on each shift, provides briefings and debriefs before and after shifts, and makes decisions relating to safeguarding and safety on the van. On alternate weekends, the Weekend Van Outreach Worker provides on-call support to those on shift. There is also one weekly daytime shift in the office to connect with the wider team.

We are looking for someone who is able to bring compassion and a non-judgemental approach to their engagement with the women. You should have great interpersonal skills which help you to support the volunteers who keep One25’s services running. You should be able to think on your feet and, when necessary, be decisive. This is a unique role and every night can be different. About the role

As Trusts Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the growth of Crisis’ income from charitable trusts, foundations, and lottery funders. The main duties of the role

Additional 32 hours (or 8 days of 4 hours each)

These will be agreed between you and your line-manager, and may include days during school holidays. They will typically include three whole team meetings, one delivery team meeting and the annual staff conference. These will be pro-rated based on when you join in the academic year.
