Treasures Foundation offers accommodation and outreach to vulnerable women who have backgrounds of addiction, trauma, mental health and the criminal justice system. We provide housing and support until women can make the transition into their own homes, with some long-arm support extending beyond this period.

The Area Manager will work alongside the COO and CEO to help develop and manage the existing service as well as a new detox provision. Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

· Providing guidance to Specialist Support Manager, Project workers and Volunteers to support their professional development, ensuring that the service is run professionally, efficiently and effectively.

· Fostering a holistic approach to supporting staffs needs, through supervision and appraisals.

· Seeking and highlighting opportunities for change at project/ organisational level

· Creating and developing a group programme which meets the needs of the women and aims of the project, such as effective communication and conflict resolution

· Planning and managing the staff rota and Out of Hours emergency on call rota, required to meet the needs of the service

· Reviewing and auditing the service on a continual basis, ensuring that it meets both the needs of the residents and quality standards.

· Ensuring the safety of the houses by managing challenging behaviour, through conflict resolution and following procedures

· Fostering good working relationships with key stakeholders

· Overseeing the individual tailored programmes created by project staff. 

· Helping to build and develop relationships with outside organisations in order to promote the work of Treasures and identify opportunities to achieve the best outcomes for residents.

Role purpose

Compass is a service designed to support adults (18 years and over) in H&F and Hounslow. The service provides support with welfare benefits, debt, housing and well-being/peer support groups/workshops.

The role of the Information and Advice Worker will be to provide advice, guidance and customer representation to H&F and Hounslow residents living with mental health problems. Advice issues may include, housing, benefits, council tax, debt, signposting etc.

The successful candidate will deliver support to enquirers and manage a caseload of individuals as agreed with the service manager. In addition to advice casework, the Advice Worker will also be expected to assist onboarding referrals to the service when needed.

The successful candidate will be required to work alongside the Advice Team Leader and volunteers supporting on the project.  

The Advice Worker will be required to work within the Advice Quality Standard framework (AQS), adhere to Mind’s policies and procedures.

Due to the nature of the work, if successful, you will need to have an up-to-date DBS check completed prior to undertaking unsupervised client work.  

Place of work

The Advice Worker will be required to work both from home and the H&F and Hounslow office when necessary, alongside work in the community.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver support to enquirers and manage a caseload of individuals as agreed with the service manager.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen in our Children and Family Service for a qualified and experienced Social Worker to join our growing Advocacy and Advice Service which we will be developing over the course of the next three years, aligned with our exciting new strategy.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Working collaboratively as part of an integral, multi-disciplinary team addressing the physical, emotional and social needs of children and young people who may be neurodivergent, as well as their families using the service
• Maintaining relevant knowledge and understanding of safeguarding standards, ensuring compliance with Norwood’s policies and procedures for promoting the welfare of children and young people as well as vulnerable young adults
• Meeting with children, young people and their families at the centre (or other community settings) or in a remote working environment (adhering to Norwood guidelines) with a view to undertaking comprehensive assessments of individual needs using a strengths-based approach, understanding the impact of neurodiversity, planning appropriate responses in partnership with children and young people and their families
• Working with statutory and other authorities and community organisations to the benefit of the families we work with
• Advising families we work with and support, on relevant legal frameworks, which may affect them
• Monitoring, reviewing and evaluating interventions in collaboration with families and recognising the changing needs/ revising interventions as appropriate
• Enabling those who we are working with and supporting to develop personal skills and strategies to improve outcomes in the identified areas in their life
• Writing reports, maintaining accurate and up to date records on the organisation’s case management system and attending any meetings or case conferences in relation to the children/young people, parents and carers to whom they are providing or have provided a service
• Liaising on behalf of those we are supporting with the Local Authority, the NHS, and other agencies in the public and independent sectors to improve outcomes for the family
• Supporting the child/ young person and their families with financial assistance applications when appropriate

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Social Worker Degree or equivalent
• Registered Social Worker with Social Work England
• Post qualification experience as a Social Worker either in statutory or voluntary sector Children’s Services
• Understanding of and experience working with a multitude of needs faced by neurodivergent children and their families
• Sound knowledge of all relevant legislation, statutory guidance and regulations, specifically in relation to safeguarding children/young people and vulnerable adults

• Full clean driving licence, access to a car and ability to use for business purposes

The Role: Family Services Manager

As our Family Services Manager, you will provide operational and strategic oversight of all service delivery at Home-Start Lambeth. You will be instrumental in ensuring our services deliver real value to the families we support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service Leadership: Oversee and develop service delivery, ensuring strategic and operational priorities are met.
• Team Management: Line manage and support our dedicated Family Coordinators and Volunteering Officer, fostering a culture of learning and development.
• Project and Performance Management: Lead on project management, performance management, and ensure compliance with policies and legal requirements, including safeguarding.
• Safeguarding and Compliance: Promote children's welfare and ensure compliance with safeguarding best practice.
• Volunteer Engagement: Work closely with our Volunteering Officer to maximise the effectiveness of our brilliant volunteers.
• Partnership Working: Develop and maintain strategic relationships with external partners to enhance awareness and reach of Home-Start Lambeth's services
• Reporting and Evaluation: Contribute to developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation frameworks to demonstrate the impact of our work.

What we are looking for:

• A high standard of education (BA/BSC, degree apprenticeship, level 6 qualification)
• Direct experience working with children and families from diverse backgrounds.
• Proven project management, staff line management (including performance management), and service management experience.
• A strong working knowledge of the needs of families with children under five, and current legislation and policies relating to children and families.
• A deep commitment to good safeguarding practice and professional confidentiality.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• A positive, creative, and organised approach to your work.

Desirable, but not essential:

• Relevant professional training (e.g., health visitor, teacher, social worker).

About the role:

Redemption Roasters has a clear mission: to reduce reoffending through coffee.

Our coffee is roasted behind bars at HMP The Mount, and we reduce reoffending by: (1) employing prison residents in our roastery, (2) providing barista and technician training in UK prisons and the community and (3) employing prison leavers (our participants) in our 12 London coffee shops. 

By providing paid employment, in-house case work support, and on-going training, we create an environment that supports our programme participants to lead a positive life away from the Criminal Justice System. 

The role of Case Worker

Redemption Roasters is looking to appoint a dedicated Case Worker to deliver personalised support to participants employed across our London coffee shops.

In this role, you will meet one-to-one with participants to support their employment journey. You will use case work sessions to talk through concerns or challenges, discuss professional development and support participants to progress positively. You will play an important role in creating a safe, inclusive and supportive environment that enables participants to succeed.

The successful applicant will be offered comprehensive on-boarding and training, with opportunities to shadow experienced members of the Redemption Roasters team.

Duties

• Effectively manage a caseload of participants, delivering one-to-one support that is tailored to each individual’s needs and goals across all 12 shops. 
• Support participants trained by Redemption Roasters (in-custody and the community) as they prepare for trial-shifts and look to move into employment. 
• Visit Redemption Roasters training programmes in partner prisons to discuss employment opportunities and meet participants ahead of release. 
• Build strong relationships with participants, whilst maintaining professional boundaries.
• Work collaboratively with the Redemption Roasters Shop Managers to support the professional development of participants employed in their shop. 
• Utilise partnership working, signposting and referrals to other organisations to support the positive progress of participants.
• Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead for Redemption Roasters, leading annual policy reviews and ensuring best practice is followed.

Personal specification

Essential

• Experience working with and supporting vulnerable individuals with complex needs
• Empathetic and kind, with a strong belief in the Redemption Roasters mission
• Ability to deal with challenging behaviour and conduct difficult conversations
• Experience balancing competing needs and priorities, with excellent time management
• Understanding of safeguarding requirements and processes

Desirable

• Lived experience of the criminal justice system (either direct or indirect)
• Understanding of the criminal justice system, license restrictions, probation and criminal record disclosure
• Experience assessing risk and making decisions relating to safeguarding, ideally working as a Designated Safeguarding Lead
• An interest in coffee, with insight into working in a coffee shop or hospitality setting
