We are looking for a high-calibre candidate to take up a fixed-term, maternity cover role as Centre Leader at our IntoUniversity centre in Brixton. You will have responsibility for running your IntoUniversity centre, including managing your team, planning and delivering the programme, liaising with external stakeholders and meeting IntoUniversity’s targets for delivery. A substantial element of this role is delivering our education programme to children and young people aged 7-18, so you will need to have a genuine passion and enthusiasm for working with young people, including leading a class of 30 from the front, working with small teams of children and providing one-to-one support.

9. To coach, train and help manage new project staff to support jobseekers and put in place monitoring protocols.

10.  To ensure jobseekers are progressing towards their individual targets; understand protocols and interpret work culture correctly; understand the health & safety in the work environment and adopt appropriate workplace behaviour.

11.  To ensure good working relationships are maintained with all employers/ work experience placements and that feedback is regularly sort from all stakeholders to help improve our service delivery and future opportunities.

We are an agile social enterprise looking for a qualified Finance Manager to manage and operate our existing finance function. Working flexibly from home, you will perform a core role in our small, friendly virtual team helping to maintain financial stability and control as we focus on our mission to deliver successful projects across a range of settings globally. You will report to the Strategy Director. The role is advertised at 15 hours per week and the preference would be for these hours to be worked over 3 days, however this can be flexed in line with the cyclical nature of some of the finance activities, particularly during quarter end.

This role has management & operational responsibility for all finance processes including budgeting, cashflow, VAT, Payroll, and overall management of our bank accounts and treasury. The Finance Manager will also manage the relationship and coordinate with our outsourced financial service providers.

The Alliance for Inclusive Education (ALLFIE) has led the lobby for change in inclusive education for over 30 years, serving as the only national Disabled people’s campaigning organisation working on this issue. 

ALLFIE’s vision is to create an inclusive society by ensuring inclusive education within mainstream settings for ALL Disabled people. We campaign for ‘a world where inclusive education is a right, not a struggle,’ and for Disabled pupils and students to be fully included in mainstream education, training, and apprenticeships, with all necessary support. We also create the resources that people and organisations need to advocate/campaign for inclusive education, training, and apprenticeships and to develop good inclusive practice. 

Job purpose: The Social Media Co–Lead will ensure the smooth delivery of ALLFIE’s online and social media content, to increase understanding of, and engagement with, our inclusive education campaign work. This is a production role which will focus on growth and consistency across ALLFIE’s online and social media platforms, ensuring accessibility in text, visual and audio content.

We support flexible working and large aspects the role could be done remotely, however some travel to attend face-to -face meetings will be required.

You’ll work with the team to produce high-quality, evidence-based, clinically accurate health advice for people affected by lung conditions, in line with robust editorial processes and health information standards like the PIF TICK. You’ll research, write, review, and edit health advice for our website, printed resources and other media, including video. You’ll also support large-scale health information content projects.

You’ll have excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills (preferably in a healthcare context), strong attention to detail including accurate spelling and grammar, strong digital skills with an excellent working knowledge of SEO best practice, and strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. As a strong communicator and collaborator, you will have the ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues across the organisation.

About the Suzy Lamplugh Trust

Suzy Lamplugh Trust is the UK’s pioneering personal safety charity and leading stalking authority. We were established in 1986 following the disappearance of 25-year-old Suzy Lamplugh, an estate agent and lone worker who went to meet a client and never returned. The Trust exists so that what happened to Suzy does not happen to anyone else. For the past 37 years, we have worked towards reducing the risk of harassment, stalking, aggression, and violence. Our Stalking Helpline offers support and advice to thousands of victims of stalking every year, while our bespoke advocacy teams work closely with partners across the Violence Against Women and Girls’ (VAWG) sector, the criminal justice system, and both statutory and non-statutory services to ensure our clients can live a live free from abuse and fear.

You will be working alongside a team of advocates who are dedicated to supporting and empowering victims and survivors of stalking. By working with a caseload of 20- 25 clients, you will have the opportunity to provide holistic and bespoke advocacy to your clients, whilst leveraging your knowledge of gender-based abuse to support the Trust’s specialist mission.

Purpose of Role:

· To provide expert advice and advocacy to victims of stalking, both within the context of domestic abuse, and non-domestic abuse related stalking.

· To provide guidance and support by telephone, email and face-to-face to those affected by stalking.

· To provide casework support and advocacy to victims of stalking, liaising with both voluntary and statutory services to ensure positive outcomes for victims. 

· To support the operational Team Leaders where required.

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Service Manager to support women and children who are impacted by domestic abuse and other gender-based crimes. In this role you will provide line management and support to staff who work with and help women and their children who have experienced domestic abuse and are staying in our Lambeth refuges. Our Lambeth refuges are culturally specific services for women and children of African and Caribbean heritage. This will include providing supervision on complex casework issues such as child protection, overseeing operational emergencies and ensuring high standards of casework.

Just Like Us is the LGBT+ young people’s charity and works with thousands of schools and young people across the UK through its programmes. The Ambassador programme is a key part of our work at Just Like Us.

This role will be key in ensuring that we have a growing community of LGBT+ young people aged 18-25 who volunteer with Just Like Us. We support them to:

As a Lead Assessor, you'll play a pivotal role in upholding the integrity of our AP scheme. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct comprehensive assessment visits to units undergoing evaluation within the scheme. Working hand in hand with service user perspective assessors, you'll monitor all Headway AP core domains during onsite visits.

Key responsibilities:

• Review relevant documentation ahead of onsite visits.
• Collaborate with service user perspective assessors during visits, focusing on core domain monitoring.
• Facilitate post-visit debriefing meetings with assessors to ensure thorough discussion and alignment.
• Maintain open communication channels with the AP Manager to address any assessment-related queries or challenges.
• Prepare detailed assessment reports in collaboration with assessors, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Deliver finalised reports to the AP Manager and communicate outcomes to units undergoing assessment.

Flexibility and expectations:

This role offers flexibility, with the expectation of completing a minimum of 4 assessments within a year. This allows you to balance your professional commitments while making a meaningful impact within our AP scheme.

Hourly rate and expenses:

The hourly rate for this role is £20.00, covering administrative tasks pre and post-visit, visit duration, and travel time. Additionally, travel expenses will be covered.

Candidate profile:

• Hold a professional qualification (e.g., OT, SaLT, Nursing, Physio) with demonstrated experience in ABI.
• Exhibit unwavering objectivity and impartiality during assessments.
