About the role:
This role is based from either our Blackpool or Preston office. We are looking for a group facilitator to cover South and Central Preston, Wyre Fylde Lancaster and surrounding areas. You will be working primarily in targeted schools across your area and therefore you will need to be a car owner/driver.
As group work facilitator you will:
- Lead & facilitate the group work program to children & young people in small groups within High Schools, who have experienced domestic abuse (8 groups per week).
- Complete assessments with young people, identifying and addressing safeguarding concerns.
- Proactively promote the service, raise awareness of services & work collaboratively with professionals to improve the access to and quality of services for children & young people
- Be responsible for case management, report writing, outcomes recording and collecting other data.
- Play a vital role in ensuring we provide high quality, end-to-end support to children & young people to help them to recover from abuse.
You will need: -
- Considerable experience of working with children and young people, experience of delivering groups would be advantageous.
- You will have a thorough understanding of the impact of Domestic Abuse on children and young people.
- Experience of risk assessment and case management.

The service supports clients who have been referred by the local authority and outreach teams. This is not always possible due to the complex nature of move on, but the service plays a pivotal role in the lives of many homeless people.

Bounce Back for Kids (BB4K) is a lifeline for children healing from the trauma of domestic abuse. Sadly, the demand for our programme continues to rise. We supported 223 families in 2023 through individual and group therapeutic support sessions.

Early Help Support Worker
We are looking for an Early Help Support Worker to act as a keyworker delivering packages of support with children, young people, and whole families to prevent escalation to more intensive services.
Position: Family Support Worker
Location: Harborne/hybrid (the families you will be supporting will be based in Northfield. This is an outreach position and you will be expected to be based in the community)

The Role
Through undertaking an Early Help Assessment and by working with families in a person-centred way, you will help people on your caseload to make positive changes and to develop the skills to manage their issues in the future.
You will work within the Early Help Locality multi-disciplinary team to provide a timely and front-line response to the needs of children, young people, and their families, acting in accordance with local policies, procedures and priorities.
Key duties include:
- Work in partnership with other practitioner/professionals, children, young people, and their family.
- Work within a multi-disciplinary and professional integrated Early Help service to provide a timely response to the needs of children, young people and their families.
- Deliver evidenced based interventions.
- Provide a timely response to the identified needs of children and young people.
- Promote and use an Early Help Assessment framework.
- Be responsible for a high standard of case recording.
- Engage with children, young people and their families and actively promote their participation in assessments and support plans.
- Manage and prioritise an allocated caseload.
- Organise and participate in planning programme delivery of evidenced based programmes.

About the role:
This role is home working based with travel in the Kent, Sussex and Surrey Area.
As a Homicide Service Children's and Young People caseworker you will be:
- Delivering a specialist service to children and young people (CYP) bereaved by homicide, and for those CYP who have witnessed a homicide.
- Working collaboratively and jointly within the Homicide Service and other relevant organisations that can help to progress identified needs and ensure that young people are central to all processes that involve them.
- Acting as the designated caseworker and managing a caseload
- Implementing the CYP Homicide Service Delivery Model
- Work closely and support colleagues to provide a trauma informed service to children and young people.
You will be responsible for providing a high-quality, front-line service to bereaved young people following murder or manslaughter. Working with colleagues in the National Homicide Service, as well as partner agencies including education, police, courts, social services and many other statutory and third sector organisations.
You will need to be able to travel to face to face sessions within, and occasionally outside of region. You will be reimbursed for all travel costs.
