Citizens Advice Camden is looking for a Generalist Adviser (or Trainee Generalist Adviser) to deliver a dedicated advice service to hospital workers at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

As the adviser delivering this particular service, you’ll provide one-to-one advice and casework on a range of issues, from housing and benefits to debt and employment, helping staff navigate the real-world pressures they face. You’ll be based within the hospital's staff support environment and work alongside other Citizens Advice advisers delivering a separate service.

Whether you’re an experienced adviser or looking to train, we’ll support your development with supervision and access to the full Citizens Advice training programme. You will  manage your own caseload, shape how the service is delivered, and build strong links with hospital staff and departments.

We are seeking an energetic and passionate Schools and Holiday Club Coordinator to inspire young people and deliver outstanding programmes within a leading youth charity that helps shape the lives of young people.

Salary: £29,500 – £31,500 per annum (pro rata)

About the Role
As Schools and Holiday Club Coordinator you will lead two of the charity’s most important and growing initiatives: the local schools programme and Holiday Club provision. You will drive the engagement of young people by developing strong partnerships with local schools and delivering vibrant holiday activities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with schools, teachers, and education bodies.
• Designing and delivering engaging educational programmes aligned with school priorities.
• Planning, promoting, and delivering high-quality Holiday Club activities during school holidays.
• Managing programme budgets and ensuring cost-effective delivery.
• Applying for and managing Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) grants and other relevant funding.
• Capturing and evaluating outcomes, feedback, and data to inform improvements.
• Line managing, motivating, and supporting a team of staff and volunteers.
• Ensuring activities meet the needs of all young people, including those with SEND.

• Experience delivering face-to-face youth or schools-based activities for young people aged 8+.
• A proven ability to build strong relationships with schools and external partners.

My client is a large London-based charity. They are seeking a Finance Coordinator on a temporary basis.
Your new role
The role is an interim Finance Coordinator. The role is expected to be for three months, but may extend for the right candidate. Duties will include:
- Maintain comprehensive project plans for Finance activities, monitoring progress, identifying any
delays or issues and providing regular updates on
project status and team alignment
- Act as a central point of communication within the
Finance team, facilitating effective information
sharing and collaboration
- Coordinate with various team members to ensure
alignment and adherence to project plans and
deadlines
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of project related
materials and communications
- Organise and schedule team meetings and followup
on action items
- Support with key events
- Provide administrative and logistical support to the
Finance director team, including activities such as
raising Purchase Orders and organising travel
arrangements

resolving disputes and providing support

What you’ll do

Working alongside two other researchers, you will assess banks’ positions on climate change and other sustainability themes. This involves collecting information from banks’ disclosures and external databases, analysing quantitative and qualitative data, and translating insights into actionable steps for banks and investors engaging with banks, among other stakeholders. You will have many opportunities to challenge banks and shape sustainability standards for the banking sector by contributing to:

• Investor briefings and short research notes reviewing climate commitments made by individual banks.
• Banking sector benchmark, ranking European banks on their approach to climate change and other sustainability themes.
• Thematic reports and internal position papers reviewing how the European banking sector aims to address specific issues and/or the relevant standards banks rely on.

This role would be perfect for someone with strong analytical skills who enjoys making sense of complex information and translating it into actionable insights. You’ll thrive if you’re curious about how banks are responding to the climate crisis, eager to get stuck into analysing sustainability data, and excited by the idea of shaping how banks are held to account on their environmental and social impacts. What you’ll bring to the team

It would also be great – but not essential – if you have:

• Experience using financial databases such as Eikon and Bloomberg or the ability to pick up new types of technologies or software quickly.
• Experience developing and/or managing databases using Excel or other applications.
• Knowledge and interest in biodiversity or human rights and how the financial sector can help address these issues.
• Experience with CRM systems, ideally Salesforce.

We have a hybrid working policy in place, and the Banking team meets in the office every Tuesday as we find this helps with team bonding and productivity.
