About the Role

Christian Aid’s Resilient Futures Fund (CARFF) is an ambitious new initiative mobilising capital for climate adaptation and resilience across the Global South. We are building a pipeline of innovative enterprises supporting communities on the frontline of the climate crisis, and we are now seeking a Senior New Business Development Officer to help drive this mission.

This role sits at the heart of CARFF’s growth. You will shape and deliver a dynamic fundraising and partnership strategy, working closely with the Head of CARFF to cultivate high-value supporters, deepen relationships across the philanthropic and impact investment worlds, and help establish CARFF as one of Christian Aid’s most exciting emerging ventures. As the MSK SKILLs Administrator you will support the team with the coordination of training sessions, carry out financial processes, collate service data and compile reports, support the recruitment of trainers and volunteers for the programme and provide general administrative support for team meetings and events.

About the role

Education Delivery Specialists are the front-line delivery posts for all programmes, leading workshops, training peer educators and mentoring ambassadors across the country. You will be committed to equality with the skills to engage 9 to 15-year-olds through learning and empowerment. This role is a temporary maternity cover, ideally starting in March 2026. You will be covering a range of brilliant London schools with established relationships and programmes. You will join a supportive team including two London and Essex-based workers.

Key responsibilities

• Programme Delivery: You will plan and deliver educational programmes for young people (ages 9-15) focused on challenging prejudice, empowering them with knowledge and skills. You will book programmes into schools, maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, and lead workshops and online sessions. You will prioritise equality and diversity, emphasising inclusive educational activities and impact.
• Training, Mentoring and Support: You will train young people as peer educators and Ambassadors to disseminate anti-prejudice messages effectively, and provide mentoring, offering support and guiding them.
• Events: You will organise events, study trips, and projects with Ambassadors and communities, working to targets, curriculum, and quality standards. You will monitor and evaluate activities, maintaining records.
• Database and Fundraising Support: You will maintain comprehensive records on the Trust's databases and contribute occasionally to fundraising efforts, such as grant applications and supporting at donor events.

The Education Delivery Specialist will have substantial experience of running learning activities with groups of young people, including aged 9-15 years, and experience of engaging with and meeting the needs of disadvantaged young people. You will also have experience of providing pastoral/emotional support, working successfully as part of a team, and keeping records and writing reports. You will have knowledge of best practice in teaching and/or youth empowerment, as well as be familiar with the needs and issues of young people. The role is home-based within London. Ideally, you will have access to appropriate working space which can be discussed at interview. Ideally you will have a current valid UK driving licence and access to a car, but this is not essential as it is a London-based role. Following an organisational review, EMMS is creating a new Director of Fundraising role, separating fundraising and communications into two Director posts. EMMS is financially stable with healthy reserves, currently raising around £400,000 per year in fundraised income, plus a significant time-limited major donor gift ending in 2028.

The Director of Fundraising will:

• Lead the development of a diverse, sustainable fundraising strategy across multiple income streams (trusts and foundations, major donors, individual giving, community, corporates, legacies).

• Be hands-on in delivering this strategy, supported by an experienced Head of Partnerships and Philanthropy and a Stewardship Manager.

• Manage and grow relationships with donors and stakeholders, meeting ambitious income targets.

• Oversee budgets, forecasting and reporting, and contribute to organisational strategic and business planning.

• Line manage fundraising staff, setting objectives/KPIs and supporting their development.

• Sit on the Executive Leadership Team and play a proactive role in the wider management and development of the charity, including reporting to the CEO and attending some Board meetings.

What they’re looking for:
An experienced senior fundraiser with a strong track record of strategic income growth across multiple channels, excellent relationship-building skills, strong leadership and team management experience, and knowledge of the Scottish charity and fundraising landscape. You should be confident operating strategically and operationally, familiar with fundraising regulation and good practice, and able to communicate effectively with both Christian and secular audiences in line with EMMS’ faith-based heritage and health mission. About the role

Reporting in to the UK Influencing Lead, the Government & Parliamentary Lead supports the management of Christian Aid’s government influencing and UK specific public policy development and delivery in line with policy, advocacy and campaigns strategies that maximises impact.

About the role

We’re looking for a Voice Officer with experience of working with children, young people and their families and amplifying their voices to help create positive change to join our Voice Team. 

The Voice Officer is a key member of the Voice Team, responsible for enabling Young Lives vs Cancer to shape the children and young people’s cancer system with and for young people with cancer and their families. You will enable young people affected by cancer and their families to have a stronger voice inside and outside the organisation - not just to contribute, but also to challenge, giving the power to them to amplify their voice and make positive change.

You will work with the Voice Manager and Head of Voice to deliver our Voice work to a high quality. Responsible for managing incoming enquiries and communications with our volunteer Voice Board Members, Voice Champions and Voice Hub network, working with the team to plan and run meetings and events both online and in person. With excellent organisational skills, you will help plan and coordinate our voice work, building strong working relationships with colleagues and our voice community with volunteer management responsibility for Voice Board Members and Voice Champions.

What will I be doing?

Communication and Organisation

• Delivering effective internal communication regarding the Voice team and playing a pro-active and leading role in Voice team meetings
• Supporting with correspondence, record-keeping and tracking leading on communications with our voice volunteers and internal communications
• Effective project management of voice activity - for example, planning events, setting goals and impact measurements for the activity, managing risks and reporting on progress

Voice Activities

• Working with the Voice Manager and Head of Voice to deliver the organisation’s Voice approach, enabling children, young people and parents/carers to shape the organisation and the system it is situated within, maximising our Voice opportunities
• Delivery of the Voice Board so it is an effective model for the Board of Trustees to listen to and act upon the voices of young people with cancer, their parents/carers and siblings.
• Travel and occasional overnight stays to attend in person events with our voice volunteers.
• Developing and supporting the growth of our Voice Hub bringing voice opportunities to our wider community
• Act as the key contact and support for our Voice Champion Volunteers
• Working in partnership with the Voice Champions team on the development and dissemination of voice guidance and training for staff and volunteers across the organisation, designed to equip them so that they can confidently work alongside young cancer patients and their families
• Working with the Voice Manager and Head of Voice to ensure that we are able to amplify voices of all our beneficiaries across the whole of the UK, from the widest range of backgrounds and cultures

Working relationships and contacts

• Volunteer management of our Voice Board Members and Voice Champions Team.
• Building and maintaining relationships and influencing others. Both internally working with colleagues to equip them to work alongside young people and families and externally working with young people and families to understand their views and opinions, ensuring that they feel heard as well as building connections with partners across the sector.
• Develop and sustain sector relationships, staying up to date with external developments in voice and participation and identifying opportunities for innovation and partnership

The Public Affairs Lead sits within our Policy and Advocacy Team, working to build support for The Food Foundation’s work amongst Parliamentarians and to influence the government to help deliver policies that will transform the food system. This is an exciting opportunity to join a small organisation delivering big impact on the political agenda around food.

The Public Affairs Manager reports to our Head of Policy and Advocacy and will be responsible for planning and delivering our public affairs activity. This includes: 

• Political engagement: meeting MPs and Peers in parliament and building relationships with their teams with a view to identifying potential new supporters 
• Policy and research: working closely with colleagues to share perspectives on which priorities it may be tactical to pursue and to understand what evidence is available to inform engagement.

parliamentary inquiry to parliamentary staff from the Health and Social Care Committee, drafting an MP briefing for an upcoming debate on the Government’ s obesity prevention priorities, reviewing next week’s parliamentary calendar to spot opportunities for engagement, attending a roundtable to share intelligence and discuss priorities for political party manifestos with other NGOs working on food issues, ringing round parliamentary offices to confirm attendance for
an upcoming parliamentary reception, meeting with an MP that is closely involved with The Food Foundation’s work to refine messaging for an upcoming campaign.

Your experience
You will have a strong knowledge of the UK political landscape and be comfortable and confident in engaging with stakeholders in Whitehall and in Parliament across the political spectrum. Ideally you would also have a knowledge of policy related to the food system, public health or the environmental crisis.
