Examples of activities include walks around the local area, going shopping, sensory activities, shopping in the town centre, day trips out, visiting arts and crafts, and board games holidays at home or abroad.
Support Worker duties include:
- Assisting with daily living skills like cooking, shopping and using public transport to providing emotional support for both the service users and their families, your impact will be truly transformative. You will also support with personal care while ensuring dignity is maintained, and handle tasks such as administering medication, managing paperwork ensuring the service runs smoothly. Providing respectful and dignified personal care including the administration of medication.

Night Support Workers enable people with particular needs to manage their tenancies and live independent lives of their choosing in the community. Night Support Workers are responsible for ensuring continuity of a support service at night and for keeping customers and the building safe.
The shift pattern for this role is as follows: 10pm to 8am for 10 nights every fortnight, including every other weekend. This is a waking night position and sleeping on shift is strictly forbidden.

Our service in St Helens, Merseyside provide quality care and support to residents with complex needs. We are seeking individuals who are warm, positive, person centered and committed to ensuring that service users with complex needs enjoy the highest quality of life and make progress towards greater independence by accessing into the local community in St Helens, Merseyside. No two days will be the same at this service as our residents love engaging in a range of exciting activities!
Your role will include:
· Providing personal care, administering medication and helping with other domestic tasks such as cooking and cleaning
· Encouraging service users to engage in a range of exciting social activities both within and outside their homes
· Developing warm and trusting relationships with service users and their families enabling them to enjoy their time at the service to the fullest
· Full time or part time hours to be worked flexibly according to the needs of the service with a willingness to work sleep ins
We are looking for candidates from all walks of life. No previous care experience is needed, just a passion for providing person-centred care and support and working in a bright, friendly environment! Full training is provided by our Creative Support Training Academy, as is the opportunity to work towards QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care.
