We have an exciting opportunity for a Contract Manager to join our team in the South Region to lead on the delivery and development of advocacy contracts across VoiceAbility’s portfolio. This is a permanent role, working full time, 35 hours a week. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our commissioned services meet and exceed expectations. You will be responsible for monitoring contract performance, analysing complex data, and ensuring compliance with KPIs, quality standards, and third sector funding requirements.

About you

We are looking for a skilled and experienced contract management professional with a strong understanding of third sector commissioning and service delivery. You will have a proven ability to manage and monitor complex contracts, ensuring compliance with service level agreements and funding conditions. You’ll be confident in building and maintaining relationships with commissioners, funders, and delivery partners.

You will be highly numerate, with excellent analytical skills and the ability to produce clear, insightful reports that demonstrate impact, value for money, and continuous improvement. You’ll be comfortable working with data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and will support operational teams to address underperformance and drive service excellence.

We are looking for someone who can balance the retention of existing contracts with a proactive approach to identifying and supporting new opportunities for growth and innovation in the third sector.

 How are staff supported to work remotely? 

VoiceAbility has a small number of offices. All Employees are homebased meetings will be held online as well as in person in the relevant community.

The Prison Phoenix Trust

The PPT are the leading experts in yoga and meditation in prisons in the UK and Ireland. Since 1988 we have supported the personal development and rehabilitation people living in prison through meditation and yoga. We do this through 121 mentoring, group yoga classes, peer support newsletters and resources such as books and DVDs that help people practise yoga and meditation in their cells. We deliver the British Wheel of Yoga’s accredited training Teaching Yoga in Prison.

A small staff and volunteer team based in Oxford works with a network of self-employed yoga and meditation teachers across the UK and Ireland.

This new role is part of an expansion of the staff team to build the capacity of the charity to meet the growing demands for its services and the income to support this.

The role

At an exciting time for the expansion of the charity’s fundraising activities, the Development Coordinator will play a pivotal role in driving and expanding the charity’s income from individual donors while leading the development and execution of community fundraising initiatives and events. This role is pivotal in building and nurturing long-term relationships with individual donors, cultivating new donor prospects, and developing innovative community engagement strategies, working with The PPT’s Development Lead.

The ideal candidate will be an energetic and passionate professional with expertise in donor relations, event management, and community fundraising. They will be skilled at creating impactful experiences that inspire both individual and collective action, making a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve.

Responsibilities

1. Individual Fundraising
Innovate and implement a donor acquisition strategy appropriate for the values of The PPT.

• Implement an audience segmentation approach to building individual, regular and legacy giving, drawing on accurate analysis of data, using The PPT’s Access database.
• Project manage delivery of quarterly postal appeals including segmentation and targeting of messaging, mail-merge and printing, dispatch by volunteers or mailing house.
• Email marketing, including use of Mailchimp to segment audiences and target messages.
• Optimise The PPT’s use of JustGiving and other fundraising platforms, regularly reviewing performance.
• Optimise fundraising functionality of The PPT’s website and support colleagues in the development and procurement of a new website.

2. Community fundraising

• Manage and plan the growth of The PPT’s community fund raising activities, with a particular focus on yoga groups and faith groups.
• Review and develop cost-effective levels of support for fundraisers.

3. Donor care:

• Manage relationships with current and prospective donors and fundraisers by ensuring timely acknowledgment of gifts.
• Refine use of automated systems, such as Mailchimp and JustGiving to automate acknowledgement of gifts where appropriate, while ensuring optimum levels of personalisation, such as hand-written cards and notes.  Fulfil established donor journeys, ensuring donor led and annual stewardship is met.

4. Data management, analysis and reporting

• Maintain and update The PPT’s supporter database, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.  Initially using Access and adapt with the move to a new database/CRM programme.
• Track, monitor and report quarterly on results of FR activities
• Support colleagues in the development and procurement of a new database and/or customer relationship management system.

5. Event Coordination

• Plan and project manage delivery of The PPT’s public facing, fundraising and donor stewardship events including planning, promotion, logistics, and follow-up.
• Integrate donor care into event planning, ensuring that donors feel personally valued and appreciated before, during, and after events.
• Work with Communications Coordinator in producing printed and display materials for events.
• Plan and project-manage delivery of The PPT’s presence at networking events for example in yoga, faith and criminal justice communities.

6. Communications and Marketing

• Contribute to development of social media audiences to meet charity’s profile-raising and fundraising objectives.
• Craft compelling messages and content for supporter communications that highlight The PPT’s mission and impact.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven fundraising experience, especially in individual giving (e.g., regular giving, legacies, donor stewardship, direct mail, online fundraising
• Knowledge of best practices and ethical standards in fundraising, with a strong focus on donor care
• Expertise in using Excel and Access to analyse and report on fundraising data
• Skilled in using Mailchimp and CRM systems (e.g. Donorfy, Beacon, Salesforce) to manage donor journeys and stewardship - Comfortable analysing donor trends and campaign performance

About the Minster Centre

The Minster Centre is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee that provides training in psychotherapy and counselling and an affordable therapy service.

Role purpose

The Minster Centre is seeking to develop and further professionalise its operations and is recruiting to a new Head of Finance role. This is a part-time, flexible role for two days per week in the first instance. Some time in the office will be needed to work alongside other staff and key stakeholders – this can be managed flexibly alongside working from home. The role would therefore suit someone who wants to balance an interesting and senior role alongside other responsibilities or interests.

The Head of Finance will oversee the financial operations of the charity, owning and ensuring compliance to financial policies and procedures. You will provide strategic financial guidance to the Management Committee and contribute to the delivery of the charity’s financial strategies.

This role is an opportunity to work for Mind BLMK as part of the Milton Keynes NHS mental health service for someone with experience working in health, social care or information and advice, in direct contact with service users.

Working alongside colleagues from Central Northwest London Foundation Trust (CNWL) this role will provide referral management to and from Secondary Services. This will include signposting patients to statutory services including talking therapies and wider community based & voluntary sector support.

The Community Navigator will work as part of the team to deliver on the aims and objectives of the Mental Health Hub whilst representing the Voluntary and Community sector with the NHS.

Service Delivery

• Work within the NHS Mental Health SPA (Single Point of Access) Team to review and process referrals received from GP Practices and other sources including those to be subsequently triaged and assessed by mental health practitioners.
• Actively call patients with a view to assisting them through the process and making their onward appointments into community or secondary care service providers.
• Support the hub to signpost patients and direct them to appropriate services including secondary care, the local Voluntary and Community sector services and activities that support the patients’ wider determinates of their mental health and wellbeing.
• Answer calls, ensure sufficient phone cover, respond to messages/voicemails, provide administrative support to the Mental Health SPA for all services and deal with queries in a sensitive and timely way liaising with clinical or team lead as is appropriate.
• Monitor service inboxes during core office hours, responding to any queries professionally providing helpful information.
• Monitor and action tasks within SystmOne and maintain records of all activities carried out, i.e. outbound calls, calls received, archiving any received correspondence.
• Build good working relationships with the voluntary and community sector, relevant services and activities to ensure signposting pathways are kept up to date as well navigating and developing the setup of new signposting pathways through networking.
• Provide clinical and non-clinical information in appropriate chronological templates to other services.
• Carry out health and safety responsibilities as directed by Managers in line with Mind BLMK’s H&S policies, procedures, and guidance (risk assessments, reviews, reporting, safeguarding, incidents/accidents, premises).
• To bring VCSE experience, knowledge and culture into an NHS team.

The role

We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Opportunity Centre Officer to lead operations at this innovative space, ensuring it becomes a hub of inspiration and growth for young people.

This role will oversee the Centre’s daily operations, ensure smooth delivery of engaging learning experiences, and collaborate with schools, partners, and the community to provide meaningful development opportunities for young people.

This is a fixed term contract starting late August/early September 2025 until July 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

· Oversee day-to-day access and use of the Centre, including student registration and visitor management.

Senior Housing and Welfare Advice Worker - The Manna Society

Job Description

Who we are

The Manna Society is an ecumenical Christian organisation and registered Charity. It runs the Manna Day Centre at 12 Melior Street, London, SE1 3QP, the largest day centre working with homeless & vulnerable people in the London Borough of Southwark.

What we do

The Manna Day Centre, a drop-in Centre for homeless and long-term unemployed single men and women, is run by a team of project workers under the Director, who are responsible for its smooth operation. Basic Services offered include food, showers, clothing, housing & welfare advice, medical care, and access to laptops. The Centre opens to the service users 7 days a week, 8.30 a.m. – 1.30 p.m.

The Advice & Welfare team functions centre around finding accommodation, welfare benefits, debt management, sustainment of tenancies and support in becoming “job-ready”. Clients may approach us with other issues, and it will be the Advice & Welfare team’s collective responsibility to decide whether the matter can be managed within the team or requires external input/expertise e.g. immigration issues and refer/signpost accordingly. The focus is on delivering practical solutions to client issues.

Our advice sessions run from 9.30 am to 1.30 pm. The sessions offer a mix of appointments and drop-in opportunities for existing users of the Advice & Welfare service and those who are new to the service

Working Hours

The working week for this particular post is Monday to Friday, 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. each day. Annual leave is 25 days plus time in lieu of bank holidays worked. The annual salary for this post ranges from £33,775 to to £41,359. The starting salary will be dependent on your experience.

Reporting

c) To help develop partnership and networking opportunities to expand our repertoire of providers in housing and other key areas

d) Keep up to date with appropriate legislation and policies. In doing so, attend relevant training to deliver “best advice” and make recommendations/research required training for other members of the Advice & Welfare team

e) Write reports and deliver statistics on your clients as required

f) Maintain confidential records and administrative systems including database, block grants and petty cash systems amongst others

g) Contribute newsletter articles on a quarterly basis

h) Attend team meetings of all staff as required

i) Ensure compliance with all society policies relating to Advice & Welfare and the centre

Responsibilities – Administration

As the senior worker in the team, you will be expected to assume responsibility/provide support in the following areas:

a) Providing statistical analysis and reporting as required by LB Southwark grant which supports the cost of running the Advice & Welfare team in part

b) Providing ad-hoc reports/case studies to support external grant applications on behalf of the society

c) Support the Safeguarding Lead (the Director) in producing the Safeguarding policy and associated materials, ensure that the Advice & Welfare Team have up to date Safeguarding and Prevent training

d) Manage all formal Subject Access requests in line with the Data Protection Act 2018 and support members of the team undertaking SARs on behalf of Advice & Welfare clients

e) Manage and disseminate all private rented property vacancies to the curated list of recipients on a daily basis

f) Assume responsibility for the database to maximise efficiency and ensure that all records are maintained to enable production of reports

g) Maintain all grant spreadsheets for accuracy and in readiness for annual accounts/audits

h) Be responsible for managing regular Advice & Welfare meetings and subsequent actions arising from those meetings

i) Prepare Advice and Welfare presentations for bi-monthly management committee and attend said meetings

This year, we’ve embarked on a bold, strategic initiative to enhance our data capabilities.

We’re aiming to improve our data use, integration and analytics to increase engagement, maximise impact and drive forward our strategic goals. With a key focus on: effective and efficient operations; collaboration; and continuous improvement in our Technology, Strategy and Business Intelligence teams.

To achieve this ambition, we’ve developed a new technology infrastructure which we are calling “Sage”. We’re implementing new technology infrastructure this year (such as our new CRM system and suite of data tools – Microsoft Dynamics).

We will be taking a structured and phased approach to transitioning and embedding our new team structures, infrastructure and ways of working as part of Phase 2 of this Project.

Our Data Operations Managers sit within Product and Systems Management team.

Our Data Operations Managers have a key role in ensuring our end to end processes are working through our central CRM system. These processes include the processing of our income through the system such as Gift Aid, regular giving and special events, Direct Debits.

This role also ensures our end to end data flows are fit for purpose and that data within it are clean, accessible and available.

This role is responsible for:

• Custodian of our CRM data and responsible for major data import/export into the system including data validation, de-duplication, cleansing and fixing of data throughout the multiple data systems.
• Responsible for the curation and management of import and export routines of key fundraising data using appropriate tools.
• Responsible for forming and managing how the functions work within the Organisation to build key relationships with key data users to ensure data is correctly ingested
• Responsible for defining and setting standards and principles of data use in the system and fully enforcing these principles across the Organisation and to suppliers.
• Maintenance of legacy systems and processes where necessary

For this role we’re looking for:

• SQL (SSIS, SSRS) knowledge
• Knowledge of Dynamics CRM 365 and associated technology
• Working knowledge of KingswaySoft
• Knowledge of deduplication techniques
• Proven data management skills and experience
