Often the first point of contact for our clients in Lambeth and Southwark, the Information and Advice Service aims to provide support for residents who may be experiencing social-isolation, low mood, anxiety or depression. The service handles over 1500 enquiries a year from people seeking support for a range of issues including welfare benefits, housing and homelessness, advocacy, family support, disability and legal advice in addition to accessing our mental health and befriending services.

As one of two Advice Service Coordinators, you’ll support volunteers to ensure that the service is running efficiently. You will be in regular contact with clients both interested in and accessing the service to make sure they have adequate support. This may include referrals and signposting to additional or alternative mental health and social support services.

You’ll also maintain the online Community Information Network (COIN) directory, which includes vocational and social opportunities for adults with long term health conditions who are looking for paid work, to move closer to their vocational goals or consider social and leisure opportunities.

Applicants should have experience of providing specialist advice in benefits and housing, managing a diverse caseload and providing advocacy, and possess effective communication skills. An ability to work independently but collaboratively, to be proactive and show initiative is essential for this role.

Wandsworth WellFamily and Foodbank Service is an adult mental health service serving the Wandsworth community and based in foodbanks and GP surgeries across the London Borough of Wandsworth. We offer short term, holistic support focusing on the needs of the whole family whilst directly supporting the adult.

New funding has enabled us to create this post which will focus on increasing our capacity and inclusivity to provide emotional and practical support to the most vulnerable foodbank guests, who present with complex needs. This will involve providing a short-term intervention of up to two sessions, making safeguarding referrals where appropriate, liaising with GP’s and improving their access to services.

The other facet to the role will involve building new links with marginalised communities in Wandsworth, such as Refugee and Asylum Seekers, people with substance misuse, victims of domestic violence and the LGBTQ+ community. The goal is to reduce health inequalities including racism and all forms of discrimination.

The role

The Supporter Care team is the first point of contact for all supporter and donor queries, so you will be at the frontline, engaging with a variety of people contacting Scope. You will:

· Be responsible for handling incoming queries from supporters, across telephone, email, and post, as well handling outbound supporter service calls and other communications.

· Report to the Supporter Care Team Leader, and sit within the wider Fundraising team.

· Work closely with colleagues across the directorate, providing support in key periods, and contributing to overall fundraising income goals and an improved supporter experience.

We are looking for two individuals to help deliver an impactful GOALS service across London and build effective networks of support for people before, during and after treatment.

A main aspect of the role will be to support and work closely with individuals presenting with lived experience of gambling harm issues and/or people affected by this issue. The GOALS Supporter will understand gambling related harm and dependency issues and be able to ensure safe working environments and take a robust lead on safeguarding and harm minimisation procedures and policy.

My Life My Choice (MLMC) is a multi-award-winning self-advocacy charity uniquely run by and for people with learning disabilities, founded in 1998.  The charity delivers a diverse range of innovative user led projects that enhance and empower the lives of adults with learning disabilities in Oxfordshire.  These established projects include a fee earning training and consultancy Professional Services team, gig buddy, travel buddy scheme, a nightclub, campaigns and self-advocacy groups.

We are looking to recruit a Senior Committees Coordinator or a Committees Coordinator (dependent on experience) to deliver high-quality, professional support to FIGO’s divisions and committees, as well as members, partners and stakeholders. You'll be creating strong relationships and deepening engagement within and between divisions and committees.

Location: The role is based from FIGO House, Waterloo, London SE1 with 'blended / hybrid working' i.e. with combined office and remote working.

About the Role

The Digital Coordinator position supports a key role in the Web Systems team for Research in Practice supporting existing digital real estate, new developments and working with a wide range of people. Working across a range of web systems and digital products.

This role has a particular focus on providing user support, digital project administration and project management, and the involvement in a range of other work including web development testing, scoping and project delivery.

The Digital Coordinator will support a range of digital resources, systems and digital activities within the Research in Practice main website, the product that the role will focus most on. The role will suit someone with a passion for working both with technology and with people.

The Role 

In this new role of HR Coordinator you'll work directly with the HR Manager,operating at the centre of our people operations. Working closely with our diverse teams across the Trust and external partners,you’ll ensure a seamless HR experience. 

You'll enjoy significant autonomy while receiving full support from the HR Manager, having the freedom to grow and develop in this generalist HR position. There will be many opportunities for expanding your knowledge through on-the-job learning, coaching, and formal training in our growing organisation.

Key Accountabilities:

• Own the recruitment journey, from working with hiring managers in the crafting of job descriptions and compelling job adverts to welcoming new starters on board
• Get into the details of the employee life-cycle; onboarding, offboarding and everything in-between, making sure everyone feels valued and supported from day one
• Strive for continuous improvement in our HR processes and maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with the latest regulations
• Be involved in the development, implementation and management of supportive and user-friendly policies and procedures that are aligned with our values
• Coordinating online and face-to-face training for mandatory courses and skills development
• Alongside the HR Manager, you’ll be the go-to for colleague queries, providing guidance with consideration and confidentiality
• Supporting the HR Manager with strategic projects and programmes, including relevant HR process development

• Streamline our recruitment process for efficiency and cost-effectiveness, with candidate experience in mind
• Maintain accurate HR documentation, keeping everything up-to-date and in line with our standards, supporting the free-flow of information where appropriate

Person Specification:
Specific Requirements 

• Qualification or relevant experience in HR or related field
• Confident communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to address sensitive issues with tact and empathy
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to adapt to ever-changing HR priorities
• Understanding of GDPR and implications of data collection and retention

Skills and Knowledge 

• Collaborative, with a confident and considered approach to problem-solving
• Detail-oriented with a talent for juggling multiple tasks
• Fluent in MS Office and familiar with HR information systems
• Flexibility to adapt and respond positively to change
• Knowledgeable about HR principles and basic employment law
