About the role

As our Corporate Partnerships Officer, you will provide critical support across all functions of the Corporate Partnerships Team and work closely with Corporate Partnership Team Managers to drive sustainable change.

In this role, you will:

• Lead on administrative support for the Corporate Partnerships Team
• Support the delivery of high-quality partnerships with corporate partners.
• Support the development of new partnerships with corporate partners.

Requirements

To be successful, you will need:

• Experience in a charity fundraising, partnerships and/or customer service role.
• Endless drive, enthusiasm and ability to work under own initiative/independently to produce high quality results and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, presentation and face-to-face. 
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to provide excellent customer service and support to companies or individuals at all levels.
• Strong administrative and IT skills – including spreadsheets – and experience of using customer databases (training given).

Although not essential, we’d prefer you to have:

• Experience and knowledge of corporate responsibility/sustainability
• Experience of working or volunteering in the voluntary sector

Role Purpose:

The Helpline Advisor will be the first point of contact for individuals reporting incidents of anti-Muslim hate. The role requires delivering empathetic, confidential, and high-quality support to callers, as well as accurately recording reports and ensuring all relevant procedures are followed.

Helpline Advisors will support service users via multiple channels—phone, email, SMS, online chat and web form, by listening actively, offering appropriate information, and making referrals to specialist services where required. They will work closely with the Helpline Supervisor and participate in debriefs and reflective practice after each shift or reported incident.

Advisors will also play an important role in ensuring accurate data capture, safeguarding procedures, and upholding the values of compassion, non-judgement, and confidentiality.

Role Responsibilities: 

• Answer incoming calls from victims of hate crime with empathy and professionalism.
   

• Provide support to service users using a variety of methods, including telephone, email, SMS, online chat, online forms, and other written reports.
   

• Provide clear, appropriate advice, support, and information to service users, using a non-judgemental and person-centred approach.
   

• Keep accurate, detailed electronic records of each contact, including advice given, support offered, and agreed referrals.
   

• Understand when it is necessary to seek support from more experienced colleagues or external agencies and take appropriate action.
   

• Make referrals to other agencies when necessary, including child and adult protection concerns, on the advice of senior staff.

As a Housing Domestic Abuse Advocate, you will provide intervention, advocacy, and support to survivors of domestic abuse. Working within a fast-paced team, you will help empower women and ensure that the voice of survivors informs every stage of their journey towards improved safety. You will have your own caseload of survivors who hold social tenancies with local authorities or housing associations, and you will encourage them to engage with our service and ensure they have access to support. You will also co-ordinate the provision of multi-agency support which focuses on working with domestic abuse survivors to maintain their tenancies and prevent homelessness.

About You:

To be successful as the Domestic Abuse Housing Advocate you will need the below experience and skills:

You will bring solid experience of supporting women who have experienced domestic abuse in all its forms; coming from a sector with transferrable skills or possess a feminist/VAWG degree and be keen to learn and to train on the job. You will have a good understanding of violence against women and girls with a particular focus on the dynamics of domestic abuse (physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, so-called ‘honour-based violence’, forced marriage, stalking and harassment) and its impact on women, children, families, and communities. You will have proven skills and experience in conducting comprehensive assessments of needs and risk for survivors experiencing domestic abuse, including carrying out short risk management and safety planning. We will expect that you have experience in assessing the needs and safety of any children that women using the service may have and an understanding of the criminal justice system and relevant legislation with regard to legal and civil options, housing, benefits, matrimonial and children. Lastly you will bring your knowledge of safeguarding practice, procedures, and legislation.

With many skills and qualities to add to this role, if you have good IT literacy, data collection and monitoring these skills are maximised in your role. If you have experience or have been trained or are qualified in the fields related to substance misuse, criminal justice, law, social work or domestic abuse we would love to hear from you.

Blue Ventures is a marine conservation organisation that puts people first. We support coastal fishers in remote and rural communities to rebuild fisheries and restore ocean life.

Our work began two decades ago in Madagascar’s remote coastal communities and is growing globally.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in a growing global movement that seeks to end destructive bottom trawling practices and champion the rights of small-scale fishers.

The Transform Bottom Trawling Coalition is a global movement uniting small-scale fishers, coastal communities, and environmental groups against the most destructive form of industrial fishing. Together with over 120 members, we are advocating for:

• Protecting coastal water: Creating Inshore Exclusion Zones and Preferential Access  Areas to keep bottom trawling out and give small-scale fishers priority access.

• Safeguarding marine life: Ensuring bottom trawling is prohibited in Marine Protected      Areas (MPAs) to protect marine animals and plants.

• Supporting fair subsidies: Ending subsidised bottom trawling and supporting a fair transition.

• Stopping expansion: Preventing bottom trawling from expanding into new, untrawled areas.

You will be responsible for providing expert advice across the coalition, driving research and knowledge creation, and ensuring the coalition remains at the forefront of scientific, policy, and advocacy developments. Job Summary

Advance delivers nationally accredited, high quality domestic abuse services across London. Advance's domestic abuse services are community based and include local authority commissioned advocacy services, co-located projects in a range of settings such as housing and children’s social care, and specialist projects for victim/survivors with different intersecting needs including children and young people.

As a Peripatetic Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA), you will provide front line support across Advance’s domestic abuse services, covering vacancies across teams to ensure service delivery remains effective and consistent. You will cover a range of roles all involving advocacy and support of people experiencing domestic abuse; some roles may also involve co-locating with partner agencies, delivering training or undertaking triage and assessment work. As an experienced domestic violence advocate who has worked with complex and multiple needs, the post holder will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, remaining calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information on a daily basis. About this key role

You will work with participants to conduct a comprehensive initial assessment of their employment and wider needs, and then co-develop and regularly review action plans, supporting individuals to carry out actions through one-to-one and group motivational advice and guidance.  We will also count on you to lead a team of Peer Advisors and Volunteers to deliver flexible and supportive services to individuals with complex needs, aimed at improving their employability and helping them transition into sustainable employment. 

You will provide day-to-day supervision, support and guidance to the team, allocating work and carrying out your own direct work with participants, while also organising the promotion of the project, establishing and developing partnerships to create pathways for participants to join the project.  Developing excellent relationships with colleagues and local stakeholders and identifying wider local services that can provide support to participants are also key duties.

What we are looking for

•  An understanding of current labour market trends and knowledge of employment rights and contract types
• Demonstrable experience managing a caseload of clients with complex needs
• Experience independently addressing safeguarding issues affecting adults
• Skilled in conducting thorough risk assessments and identifying the needs of adults at risk of harm or who may be a risk to others
• Proven ability to work effectively as part of a multi-agency team
• In depth knowledge of homelessness and ability to provide support, information and advice to people experiencing / facing it
• ·Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building and communication skills, verbal and written
• A professional, collaborative and flexible approach to your work
