Our fundraising team leaders have the exciting and varied role of inspiring our fundraising volunteers to plan and deliver local fundraising events. Using their passion and imagination, they oversee a small team of fundraising volunteers who come together to raise the vital funds needed to cover costs such as veterinary bills and food. Our fundraising team leaders support their team of volunteers in all aspects of their roles, making sure our volunteers are happy, confident and supported.

You’ll be:

· supporting and encouraging a team of fundraising volunteers

· planning fundraising events and activities with your team

· allocating tasks before and during fundraising events

· keeping financial records from fundraising events

· encouraging and promoting a professional image of Cats Protection 

· following policies and guidelines and ensuring licences and permits are obtained for events

Time expectation

Our fundraising team leaders usually spend three to four hours per week in this role, which is flexible and can be shared by more than one volunteer if needed.

Martin Lewis' charity the Money and Mental Health Policy Institute are looking to appoint two or three trustees who bring the skills, insight and critical challenge to guide us through the next stage of our journey. The successful candidates will follow in the footsteps of two trustees who are leaving the board after multiple successive terms and will join our existing seven trustees on the board, chaired by Martin Lewis OBE and with Jo Hill as Vice Chair.

The role would require attendance at our quarterly hybrid meetings and availability from time to time to support the executive team through correspondence or ad-hoc meetings.

The position is not renumerated, however reasonable travel expenses can be claimed when attending quarterly meetings.

A comprehensive induction will be provided, and new trustees who are less familiar with charity governance will receive additional training as needed.

We are committed to further diversifying our board, and would particularly welcome applications from people from minoritised ethnic groups. We are open to this post being a development opportunity for someone who does not yet have significant board experience. The Vacancies:

Emersons Green Village Hall is seeking to recruit a maximum of six new Trustees to its Board. We are particularly interested in hearing from you if you have professional experience of accountancy, banking, marketing or facilities management or if you attend activities or events at Emersons Green Village Hall.

Our Trustee vacancies are voluntary roles with a minimum time commitment of approximately two hours per month. Our Trustees attend our bi-monthly Board Meetings, which last up to two hours and are usually held on Tuesday evenings, and our AGM. Our Trustees may also support our Operational Staff between meetings if they wish to give more of their time and expertise. All meetings mentioned above are held in-person at Emersons Green Village Hall. Any other meetings may be held in-person or via Teams.

The Role of Trustee:

Trustees shape the strategic direction of our charity and are also its company directors. The role is an opportunity to make a difference in the voluntary sector and provides good experience of senior management. We are also happy to provide references for our Trustees upon request.

Please note that all Trustees must be aged 18 years or older.

About Emersons Green Village Hall:

Emersons Green Village Hall is a charity which runs the community centre with the same name. Our aim is to be at the heart of the community. We run our own events and activities and hire out our rooms.

The first step is for our Company Secretary to show you around Emersons Green Village Hall and answer any questions about our operations and the building. The Board will then discuss any candidates proposed by the Chair at our next Trustee Meeting and you will be notified of the outcome by the Chair.

We mitigate the early death of lead-acid batteries and regenerate them 2-3 times for up to 90% of their original capacity.

At Revive Battery, we mitigate the early death of lead-acid batteries and regenerate them 2-3 times for up to 90% of their original capacity. In the process, we reduce 3.5 tons of Co2 emissions per battery. Battery recycling is an emission-intensive chemical process that causes environmental damage and harms people engaging with it. Our cutting-edge technology rejuvenates batteries without damaging them, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and avoiding the need for energy-intensive recycling. Lead-acid batteries are integral to battery backup systems in solar and wind farms, telecom towers, and data centres. They are also used widely in cars, forklifts, banks and ATM systems.

Sustainable Battery Regeneration

Battery recycling is an emission-intensive chemical process that causes environmental damage and harms people engaging with it. While recycling comes at the end of the battery’s life span, we mitigate their early death and regenerate them 2-3 times for up to 95% of their original capacity.

We specialize in extending battery life, reducing waste, minimizing the environmental impact of lead-acid batteries through our innovative regeneration technology. and support a global transition to circular energy systems. We're seeking a motivated Fundraising Intern to support our efforts in securing grants, partnerships, and investments to scale our impact. We welcome Erasmus+ and international student interns who are passionate about sustainability to join our mission-driven team. Role Summary: As a Fundraising Intern, you will play a key role in identifying, researching, and supporting the development of funding opportunities, including grants, donor partnerships, and investment outreach. This position offers hands-on experience in social impact fundraising and strategic development within a fast-paced start-up environment. This volunteer role is designed to provide vital operational and logistical support to the CEO’s Personal Assistant, ensuring that both day-to-day and ad hoc matters requiring a physical presence or UK-based coordination are managed smoothly. As the CEO’s primary PA is remote, this role will act as an essential on-the-ground extension of the executive support function, helping to manage communications, logistics, administrative tasks, and in-person coordination.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build experience in executive support, charity operations, and stakeholder engagement in a forward-thinking and dynamic third sector organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Support (In-Office & On-Site)

• Serve as the local point of contact for tasks requiring physical presence – such as receiving mail, managing office-based documents, collecting/delivering resources, and setting up meeting spaces.
• Assist in coordinating in-person meetings, events, and visits, ensuring smooth logistics and professional presentation.
• Support the maintenance of filing systems and physical records in alignment with digital processes.

Remote Administrative Support

 Assist the Personal Assistant with diary management, follow-ups, and meeting coordination.

• Draft correspondence, schedule appointments, and prepare briefings or summaries as needed.
• Maintain records, digital filing, and update cloud-based systems (e.g. Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint).

Communication & Liaison

• Support communication between the CEO's office, staff, volunteers, trustees, and external stakeholders – particularly where in-person contact or faster turnaround is beneficial.
• Relay key information between the remote PA and UK-based teams or partners in a timely and professional manner.

General Tasks

 Assist with preparing for workshops, club events, and community engagements.

• Maintain confidentiality and represent the CEO’s office with professionalism and discretion at all times.
• Attend internal meetings or external events as delegated, capturing notes and key actions for follow-up.

Person Specification

 Essential

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Clear and confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.

Options for Life is a dynamic not-for-profit charity based in Sandwell.  We are dedicated to empowering adults with learning disabilities and/or autism to boost their confidence, develop valuable skills, and live independently, enjoying the same rights and opportunities as everyone else.

As an Assistant Speed Skate Coach (Volunteer), you will assist in supporting the Speed Skate Coach in delivering training sessions for athletes. • Provide one-on-one or small group support during training. 

• Help athletes develop their skating technique, speed, and endurance. 

• Support the monitoring and tracking of participant progress. 

• Assist with setting up and maintaining equipment before and after sessions. 

• Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during practice. 

• Create an encouraging and positive environment for skaters. 

• Foster teamwork, good sportsmanship, and motivation. 

Skills & Qualifications 

• Passion for speed skating and supporting athletes’ growth. 

• Previous experience in speed skating or coaching (desirable). 

• Strong communication and teamwork skills. 

• Ability to work with skaters of different skill levels. 

• Enthusiastic, patient, and able to motivate others. 

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. 

• First aid qualification (desirable). 

Commitment 

• Minimum 15 hours per week, with flexible hours.

IAPWA are currently seeking an Adventure Co-ordinator to join their UK team to support their ‘Adventures for Animals’ fundraising initiative.

From helping to create exciting adventures in the UK and overseas to promoting them and supporting trip participants, the Adventure Co-ordinator will be part of a team who are passionate about developing incredible adventures worldwide to make a difference to the lives of animals in need.

Although this is a voluntary role, there are extensive travel benefits available. Please note: the majority of the adventures offered by the charity involve hiking, mountaineering and cycling, among other active pursuits and so all applicants need to be comfortable taking part in these kinds of activities.
