You will also oversee the effective management of risk across all Homeless Oxfordshire properties. With a solutions-focused mindset, you’re ready to take ownership of compliance and health and safety across multiple sites, ensuring we deliver safe, dignified living spaces for our residents .

About the Role:

As our Compliance Officer, you will take the lead on property compliance and certification across Homeless Oxfordshire's housing portfolio. You will oversee safety inspections, manage risk assessments, maintain up-to-date records, and coordinate with contractors and landlords to ensure all remedial and planned works meet health, safety, and housing regulations. We will also entrust you with coordinating employer health and safety regulations. Reporting to the Head of Property and Facilities, your role is central to protecting residents and enabling our operational teams to deliver outstanding service.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

· Ensure all regulatory requirements & certifications are maintained and securely documented (e.g. gas, Electrical safety, legionella, Asbestos, fire alarm and lighting tests etc.), Ready for inspection as required.

· Undertake annual risk assessments for all areas relating to properties (including fire); maintenance and cleaning activities and ensure that relevant details are shared with others appropriately

· Build close relationships with our landlords and providers to ensure any compliance works they are responsible for under the terms of the lease are carried out to the required standard that we are satisfied with along with the local authorities or facilitate the work on their behalf.

· Ensure all HMO licencing information is up to date for all relevant properties and records of HMO Licences are retained on in-form and work together with Local Authorities. Ensure all additional works that are required for licence are completed in a timely manner.

· Oversee weekly and monthly Health and safety inspections for all sites.

· Work with Head of property & Facilities on Health and safety tasks for the organisation

· Contribute towards the budget setting for all planned compliance and health and safety works and ensure this remains within the budget set.

· Promote a high standard of hygiene among staff and residents and ensure controls are in place to reduce the risk of pests, damp, and mould, taking remedial action.

· Remain informed of all relevant property legislation for the private rented sector, HMOs and supported accommodation and implement changes within the organisation to maintain compliance.

· Support operational managers and staff to deliver outstanding services to our residents.

· To take control of the accident reporting, working with managers and SMT to ensure that all staff adhere to the process of reporting these incidents.

· Provide a monthly report to the Head of Property and facilities with compliance for the property portfolio as a minimum.

· Comply with Homeless Oxfordshire’s policies and procedures

· Contribute to a positive working environment in which equality and diversity are valued and staff are enabled to do their best

At Action Tutoring, data is central to everything we do. With an evidence-based culture and impact at the centre of our strategy, gathering and analysing high-quality data is a key priority.

Our highly customised Salesforce database supports every aspect of our work—capturing and managing data from volunteers, pupils, schools, and tutoring sessions. As Data and Insights Manager, you will make sure our system remains fit for purpose and help turn data into meaningful insights that can inform decision-making.

Duties and responsibilities 

Salesforce and systems development

• Collaborate with external Salesforce development consultants to continue building our system capabilities and design.
• Design and oversee the collection of stakeholder, tutoring delivery, quality assurance and evaluation data, working with colleagues to ensure data is collected in a timely, accurate and consistent manner.

Team leadership and support

• Line manage the Data Lead, ensuring their work is of high quality and they have clear development objectives.
• Plan and oversee training and support for the whole organisation on the effective use of Salesforce, developing their understanding of the purpose and value of data.

Data insights

• Support the Head of Impact and Quality to generate insights from data to inform evidence-based decision-making across departments, including through dashboards.

• Data governance

• Champion data security and GDPR compliance across the organisation, including contributing to the upkeep of privacy notices, responding to queries, and facilitating stakeholder GDPR rights.
• Any other reasonable tasks as per the request of the CEO.

About you (person specification)

Qualifications criteria:

The job holder will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer, Finance Officer and volunteers within the team. There will be a requirement to work closely with the income generating staff, budget holders, auditors, banks and credit card providers on a regular basis. RSPCA Sussex West, an independent branch of the National RSPCA network, supports the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of cats and dogs in the West Sussex area. Your caseload will be predominantly surgical (mainly neutering, dentistry and routine soft tissue surgeries), and you will be supported by a kennel supervisor, cattery supervisor, hydrotherapist, Animal Welfare Officer, 2 behaviourists, 2 receptionists, 11 Animal Care Assistants, and an experienced RVN.

The ideal candidate will be an empathetic, pragmatically minded vet with 3+ years clinical experience. We are looking for a team player with a genuine desire to help achieve the RSPCA charitable aims.

There are no monthly financial targets, the sole measure of success in the role is the standard of pragmatic veterinary care you can provide to our animals.

PURPOSE OF POST: To carry out veterinary duties to the animals at Mount Noddy.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Undertake veterinary duties as directed including theatre and wards.

- Progress and develop our veterinary welfare standards and supporting policies and procedures to that of exemplar status, in line with our charitable objectives and budgets.

The EA provides tailored employment advice and guidance, helping clients build the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to navigate the UK job market. This role will work with clients at various stages of their employment journey, with a particular focus on those in the earlier stages of understanding career options, developing employability skills, and exploring education, training, and volunteering opportunities.

The EA will deliver one-to-one and group-based employability support, collaborate with employers and volunteers to source opportunities for clients, and maintain strong relationships with referral and support partners to ensure a holistic approach to employment support.

A little bit about the role

The Recruitment team is responsible for sourcing, selecting and hiring for 500 places for Approach Social Work (previously known as the Frontline programme) in local authorities across England.

You will be joining us at our busiest time, and will have day to day logistical and administration responsibilities with focus on supporting applicants through the selection stages of our programme, Approach Social Work.

You will work with the Selection team and share responsibilities between other Selection Coordinators to ensure the delivery of a highly effective and efficient recruitment process and to ensure the candidate experience is positive throughout. This role would suit someone who has had some experience interacting with customers, for example in admin support, retail, hospitality, customer service, or similar.

Some key responsibilities include:

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People has been creating life-changing partnerships between hearing dogs and deaf recipients since 1982. As well as acting as an ear to their partners and alerting them to sounds, the charity’s clever and expertly trained dogs help deaf people to live life with confidence and independence, whilst providing love, companionship and emotional support.

Following on from a strategic review, the charity is now looking to build a new Income Generation Directorate, to enable them to transform many more lives across the UK. The role will be responsible for developing and implementing a multi-year major donor strategy to grow income and build a robust pipeline of supporters. You will personally manage a portfolio or high-value prospects and donors, and will lead on bespoke cultivation and stewardship plans, ensuring that all the charity’s donor engagement is tailored, strategic and high-impact. The role also offers a rare chance to build your own high-performing team, recruiting, managing and supporting the development of Principal Gifts and Major Giving members of staff. 

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in personally securing six figure + gifts from individual donors, as well as a background in major donor fundraising, philanthropy or private wealth engagement.  You will have experience of working with senor stakeholders and possess strong relationship management and interpersonal skills. Previous experience of successfully establishing a philanthropy and special events function from scratch in a charity setting would be advantageous.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Finance Manager, who  will be responsible for the financial management and reporting of the organisation. Able to manage the day-to-day financial analysis and reporting requirements for Money Ready, and provide input for strategic financial planning. Using a business partnering model, ensure all budget holders are fully supported in their roles. Responsible for the delivery of all management accounts, budget, forecasts and donor reporting as well as the annual statutory accounts. Ensure all income and expenditure is accounted for in a timely and efficient manner. Helps deliver Money Ready’s strategic objectives, identifies the key financial risks and develops the internal controls environment.

The Senior Finance Manager will be a member of the SMT. This role will lead or contribute to the implementation of new financial systems, tools, or procedures that improve efficiency, compliance, and transparency.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensures the timely and accurate production of all management and annual accounts and all forecasts in accordance with best practise and statutory requirements.
• A key business partner who provides value added business support and financial insight to the SMT and colleagues throughout the Charity.
• Provides financial insight to development team to assist with fundraising bids, prepare donor budgets, and ensure donor reporting and compliance throughout the grant life cycle.
• Responsible for delivery of all statutory and regulatory compliance, including statutory accounts, certification officer returns, Charities Commission, VAT and all payroll taxes.
• Responsible for fortnightly payment runs processing. Supervise and assist with the sale invoices processing and regular credit control. Monthly reconciliation of all Money Ready’s bank accounts.
• Responsible for monthly payroll including monthly and annual RTI reporting to HMRC, pensions payments, annual payroll processing and relevant reconciliations.
• Work with auditors on preparing the audit strategy and manage annual audit process, providing all the relevant paperwork during the audit process.
• Be a positive change champion for the organisation, identifying key impact areas and priorities and supporting change programmes and strategies in both finance and across the Union as a whole.
• Prepare quarterly VAT returns with reconciliations and reporting. Line management, objective setting and performance reviews for direct report.
• Establish and maintain a robust internal controls environment that is fit for purpose but uses a risk-based approach to the establishment of processes and procedures.

Personal Specification

• You will need to show;
• Experience Substantial experience in a finance or accounting role (including at management level) in a not-for profit organisation.
• Substantial experience in the preparation of monthly management accounts and year end accounts.
• Substantial experience in processing monthly payroll using QuickBooks Payroll and Sage Payroll.
• Line management experience, including objectives setting and performance reviews.
• Experience in charity accounting principles, especially with regards to grants and restricted funds.
• Demonstrable experience of business partnering with multiple, non-finance stakeholders.
• Experience of establishing financial systems including business plans and budgets.

Skills and abilities

• Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA). Finalists to be considered.

Knowledge

• Working knowledge of Sage Intacct including reporting.
• Experience of working with third parties e.g. suppliers.
• Detailed knowledge SORP and VAT as applicable to charities.
• Ability to interpret financial data for strategic decision making.
• Experience of processing VAT returns including compliance with making Tax Digital and PAYE. 

Working Conditions: Limited travel will be required for attending meetings or events within the UK. Flexibility in working hours may occasionally be needed to meet the demands of the role.
