In this new and pivotal role, you will lead efforts to grow awareness, engagement, and income generation through a vibrant network of volunteer-led branches across  London and the South East region. As the primary point of contact and support for these branches, you'll play a vital role in empowering volunteers and fostering a sense of community and belonging throughout the region.

Working closely with the wider regional team, you will help deliver SSAFA’s new community engagement strategy — a central part of an exciting period of transformation and strategic growth for the charity.

Whilst the post is homebased, to be eligible for this role you are required to live in the South East and London region.

The role involves extensive travel within the region and may require occasional evening or weekend work at short notice. A company car can be provided to support this.

With the support of the Regional Manager – Casework and Community Engagement, this role plays a key part in establishing, coordinating, and leading a team of Community Engagement Volunteers across the South East and London Region of England.

This role will take responsibility for all UK events, and resulting relationships with a small portfolio of major donors.   

When thinking about the profile of individuals who would be well suited to this role and who will help bring our events and donor stewardship in the UK to the next level, it is likely you will have consolidated events experience, a talent for building relationships and a proven track record in securing some funds, ideally through relationship-driven fundraising activity.

Fundraising lead (fixed term 12-month contract, 0.4 FTE i.e. 14 hours a week)

JustMoney Movement is seeking a part-time Fundraising lead to help us grow a more sustainable funding base. The role will work with senior staff to develop our strategic case for support to target small organisational/ institutional donors (£1-5k grants/ donations).

We are a Christian charity using education and advocacy to work towards our vision of a fairer, greener future, through the transformation of our financial system and wider economy. We want to grow and diversify our funding base, reducing our dependence on a small number of grants, and building a movement of allies who feel part of the community and are willing to financially support it.

The Fundraising lead will work with senior staff to develop a case for support for our overall strategy and use this to target small organisational/ institutional donors including small trusts; corporates and organisations; and churches. 

Role description

· Grade 3.1 expected FTE salary £35,700 pro-rated to 0.4 FTE/ 14 hours a week = £14,280 (subject to annual inflationary pay review).

· Fixed term 12-month contract. This post has funding for 1 year.  If successful, there could be scope to extend the role for longer.

· Remote based: this role will be based from home, with occasional travel to meetings in London or elsewhere in the UK, for which expenses will be payable. This role is equivalent to 2 days a week but hours can be worked flexibly through the week.

Role Requirements

· Develop and deliver JustMoney Movement’s core fundraising strategy for small organisational/ institutional donors (donations/ grants of between £1-5k) targeting small trusts, organisations, corporates and churches.

· Work with senior staff to create a ‘case for support’ for JustMoney Movement’s overall strategy.

· Identify, develop and steward relationships with aligned small trusts, organisations, corporates and churches (in conjunction with other staff, especially the Executive Director [ED] and Director of Movement Building [DMB]).

Role Purpose

Our Communications Officer will help raise awareness of our work with our national partners and stakeholders. Working closely with the wider communications team, you’ll play a key role identifying opportunities to inform and engage our audiences through a range of communications, both digital and offline. Role Description

• Working with the senior communications manager, regional communications coordinators and fundraising team, implement a national content strategy and identify opportunities to share our work, including events and activities, in line with Thrive at Five’s communications aims and objectives

Role - Zero Hours Children's Resource Worker

Hours - variable and inconsistent including evenings and weekends

Salary - £12.77 per hour plus 15% Holiday Pay

Location - Applicants must be based in the West Midlands area to be able to cover carers and children support within Walsall, Wolverhampton, Birmingham, Dudley, Sandwell, Coventry, Warwickshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Worcestershire and Telford.

TACT West Midlands are looking for a children's resource worker to collaborate with them to support foster children and carers in the region. The ideal Children's Resource Worker will already have some experience in engagement and participation with vulnerable young people, care experienced children or have similar experience in child-facing settings. Child Bereavement UK has an exciting new opportunity for a Young Person Advocate and Bereavement Support Practitioner. This is a split post working primarily as a Young Person Advocate. The post holder will lead on the development and delivery of support for young people and the professionals that work with them by ensuring that young people have a voice and influence in the development of Child Bereavement UK’s Services across the UK.

Qualifications

You will need to have previous experience of supervising staff, will be qualified to level 3 in Health and Social care (or equivalent) and will be qualified to level 5 in Leadership and Management (or equivalent / willing to work towards).

In-depth knowledge and experience of supporting adults would also be beneficial, as well as mental health experience.

What you will do:
 
You will be responsible for raising vital income from individuals via appeals, in memory, regular giving and our weekly lottery. Age International is recruiting for a Senior Policy Adviser with a proven background in achieving impact, for a 12-month maternity cover contract, working 28 hours per week. Salary advertised is FTE - 35 hours.

Leading our external-facing policy and influencing in the areas of Gender and Climate, you will ensure the experiences and contributions of older people are central to these policy spaces.

We have made significant progress in recent years, and your evident track record will help take our work into its next stage. This is an ambitious brief, so your strategic thinking and ability to prioritise will be key.

Key purpose of the role
1. To lead the areas of Gender and Climate for Age International's policy and influencing work, in support of the organisation's strategic influencing objectives - including influencing relevant external stakeholders.
2. To line manage the Policy Adviser (Health and Humanitarian) and support other Influencing colleagues.
3. To facilitate collaborative working relationships for increased impact.
4. To ensure high quality policy analysis and communications.

About the role

The Group Work Facilitator will play a pivotal role in delivering the CouRAGEus Project, an initiative designed to support Black and Global Majority young women, LGBTQ+ youth, and disabled young people. The role involves facilitating safe, inclusive, and empowering group work sessions that foster emotional resilience, healthy relationships, and self-advocacy.

The Facilitator will provide a trauma-informed, culturally responsive space where participants can explore issues such as mental health, well-being, consent, and social justice. By collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and tailoring interventions to meet diverse needs, the Facilitator will help participants build confidence, develop skills, and navigate challenges while promoting their overall safety and empowerment.
