�� We're hiring: Email Conversion Officer

Are you passionate about digital marketing, data-driven design, and creating engaging supporter experiences? At MSF UK, we’re looking for an Email Conversion Officer to help us optimise our digital campaigns and boost donor engagement.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Enhance post-donation journeys through smart segmentation
  • Lead A/B testing and iterative email improvements
  • Design compelling onboarding campaigns to increase retention
  • Spot digital trends to elevate our fundraising and advocacy

You'll collaborate across teams, think holistically, and play a key role in shaping how we connect with our supporters.

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours a week

Location: London (Hybrid - 2 days per week in London Office)

Duration: Permanent

Salary: £40,682.16 per annum

Job Purpose

The Email Conversion Officer plays a role in maximising the effectiveness of our digital campaigns, channels, platforms, and user journeys.

They will work alongside the other members of the Digital Conversion teams under the direction of the Digital Conversion Manager and in collaboration with the wider Digital Team and Fundraising and Communications departments.

The role holder will improve key conversion metrics such as donations and campaign engagement through iterative design processes; making sure we fine tune our supporter journeys and enhance digital marketing practices.

The Email Conversion Officer will specifically help with:

·Optimising our post donation journeys specifically with audience segmentation

·Devising and running email testing schedules, implementing iterative improvements to meet user needs

·Creating engaging onboarding email campaigns to increase donor retention 

The post holder will be expected to identify digital trends to improve MSF UK’s fundraising appeals and advocacy campaigns. The post holder is required to think holistically; to understand and buy in to large cross-departmental strategies.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Ability to think holistically, to think about conversion campaigns across diverse channels
  • Experience in email marketing and modern e-marketing platforms
  • Experience using CRM systems
  • Experience of digital marketing and paid social media channels
  • Demonstrable knowledge of how to develop and optimise effective user journeys
  • Up to date on UX best practice, design thinking and the iterative design process
  • Ability to use design software or other web tools to create a variety of creative assets
  • Meticulous attention to detail with excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and confidence producing reports for key stakeholders which provide actionable insights
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work cooperatively in a dynamic but complex team and organisation
  • Confident liaising with a range of external suppliers, partners, and agencies
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate reports, and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Working knowledge of Google Adwords, Analytics and Tag Manager
  • Working knowledge of UX tools such as Figma, Hotjar/Mouseflow and Optimal Workshop
  • Experience of using a CMS (Drupal an advantage)
  • Experience in the practical use of personal IT equipment and Microsoft Office 365 suite.The ability to effectively collaborate and communicate within a hybrid working environment utilising Teams, SharePoint, One Drive and Yammer.
  • Flexibility and ability to work to very tight deadlines
