This is an exciting opportunity to join Dementia UK’s growing Community Fundraising team as a Regional Fundraiser, which is expanding in response to sustained year-on-year growth and our ambitious five-year organisational strategy. As a Regional Fundraiser you will lead on developing and managing relationships with supporters across the Central region of England — including individuals, community groups, and corporate organisations.

You will play a key role in delivering our community fundraising strategy by identifying new opportunities, nurturing long-term relationships, and inspiring people to take action and raise vital funds. In this role, you will proactively build a strong pipeline of supporters, delivering tailored stewardship journeys that deepen engagement and increase lifetime value. You will collaborate across teams to promote campaigns and events, contribute to regional content and represent Dementia UK at external events and presentations.

Whilst the post is homebased, the ideal candidate will be based in the Central region, including Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Warwickshire, Herefordshire and Northamptonshire, as there is regular travel within this area and to our London head office.

We are looking for you to have a background in community fundraising, experience of working in relationship management or new business. You will have understanding of community fundraising across both relationship management and new business development with proven success of building and sustaining stakeholder relationships.

We are recruiting a Challenge Events Fundraiser to grow PAPYRUS’ challenge event income by leading on allocated PAPYRUS own events, projects and campaigns and managing all third-party challenge events.

What you will do:

• Develop an events plan that will grow income using data from previous years to understand our supporters and build a creative and sustainable income plan for long term growth.
• Build and manage relationships with supporters across all communication channels and provide professional, relevant, timely and empathetic stewardship at all times.
• Raise awareness of PAPYRUS and its work by developing and delivering presentations and talks both online and face to face to supporters and facilitating necessary photo opportunities in line with GDPR for use if future promotional activity
• Manage costs and budgets for events, including forecasting, estimates and future year planning.
• Be proactive seeking out new initiatives and market trends in fundraising across the UK charitable sector.
• Participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of PAPYRUS challenge event fundraising assets, collateral, materials, and policies and procedures ensuring all content is on brand and to a high standard.
• Working with colleagues in Business Support Services to use the data collected across all donation platforms to analyse and inform required reports and update existing reporting mechanisms.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Previous experience of working in a fundraising role for a UK registered charity
• Experience of successfully managing a portfolio of third-party events
• Proven track record of successful relationship management with donors/ fundraisers 
• Proven track record of working effectively in a team
• Experience in creating and monitoring budgets
• Experience using Raiser’s edge or a similar CRM database.
• Knowledge of regulatory environment for fundraising from events fundraising including sponsorship, data protection, Gift Aid (incl GASDS) and Fundraising Codes of Practice and regulation
• Good knowledge of data selection, data analysis, insight and application of datasets for maximum success
• Understanding of events fundraising
• Competence in the use of IT tools including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to work some unsocial hours and travel to meetings / events as required across the UK

About the Role

Young Roots is looking for an experienced and creative Trusts & Foundations Fundraiser to play a key role in securing income that transforms the lives of young refugees and asylum seekers. This is a rewarding role leading Trusts and Foundations income generation with structured support from the Head of Fundraising and Development. Job Description

Purpose of the role

Our PR & Media Manager is crucial to guiding our public story and scale up our media reach as we enter the final stages of our campaign to end bear bile farming in Vietnam and develop the profile of our founder and CEO Jill Robinson MBE. As the internal lead for global PR and media, you will cultivate strong relationships with colleagues in our Programmes and Fundraising teams to amplify their work through celebrity support, thought-leadership and media engagement.

Your main areas of responsibility include press office management (managing the media inbox, journalist and influencer liaison, writing press releases, and media monitoring , working with our international network of external PR specialists to prepare and deliver PR & Media plans for each of our key fundraising markets (UK, US & Aus.), preparing pitches, media releases and content for media outreach and building a library of case studies and fact files to demonstrate our impact. 

Working closely with our Celebrity Manager, your other key area of responsibility is developing and implementing creative media opportunities for our celebrity supporters to raise Animals Asia’s profile through earned, owned and shared digital platforms, print and broadcast media. You will possess the knowledge, skills, and creativity to help us raise awareness of Animals Asia and what we stand for, helping us grow our supporter base and meet our brand goals. You will be managed by our Global Director of Strategic Communication. 

Key duties:

Strategy and planning

• Development of creative campaigns that deliver high quality coverage to reach target audiences in line with Animals Asia’s organisational and communications objectives including fundraising, brand awareness, policy influencing and behaviour change.
• Utilise a range of appropriate tactics such as celebrity and influencer support, CEO profile building and subject matter expert thought leadership.

PR delivery

• Participate in the development and implementation of our thought leadership program, supporting our internal subject matter experts to publish on Linked In, contribute to earned media and participate in speaking opportunities.
• Preparing, publishing, moderating and reporting on social media content for PR and media purposes, including the identification and targeting of key influencers to support our campaigns share our content.
• Support and promote global campaigns, appeals and events with PR, including the development of press materials and media targeting and liaison.
• Participate in a program of activity to develop and build the profile of our CEO, Jill Robinson, as a key ambassador for Animals Asia.

Press office management

• Day to day running of the press office, including responding to media enquiries, drafting media releases, undertaking proactive pitch development, outreach to journalists and influencers, maintaining our database of media contacts and other general press office management.
• Leading on the creation and maintenance of our external events and key dates calendar to identify opportunities and clashes for PR.
• Keeping abreast of external events and news stories for reactive response and future planning.
• Identifying, monitoring and responding to any reputational and other reactive issues, including anything related to our celebrity ambassadors, in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Coordinate the monitoring, reporting and evaluation of all PR and media related activities, to assess and learn from the success of activities to feed into future plans as well as build the positive profile of the PR function across the organisation.
• Management of PR suppliers, such as Meltwater and MuckRack, to ensure a smooth and well-functioning press office with timely reporting and access to information.
• Maintaining the news and media sections of our website and media packs.

Content production and asset coordination

• Lead on the internal coordination of information, asset gathering and content production for proactive and reactive media activity, delivering outputs in an engaging, accessible and media appealing way, including with the development and maintenance of a case study and fact file library and the production of media-ready content, including with video, images, audio and copy.
• Develop and craft key messages that get cut through, in support of our campaigns.
• Draft high quality materials such as press releases, opeds, blogs, briefings, pitches and bios across all PR, including in close collaboration with our internal subject matter experts to develop our reputation and thought leadership in animal welfare.

Relationship management

• Day to day management of PR suppliers and partners, including our international network of external PR specialists to deliver PR campaigns.
• Internal liaison with colleagues throughout Animals Asia to gather information, check facts and develop content and pitches for earned media.
• Build relationships with key journalists, celebrities and social media influencers.

General

• Proactive attendance at meetings.
• Proactive in keeping up to date with developments in PR & Media.
• Represent Animals Asia at internal and external functions and events as required.

Person Specification:

• Minimum of three years’ experience of working in a busy press office or PR agency, including drafting key messages, press releases and responding to media enquiries.
• Strong news sense, knowledge of biodiversity and animal welfare is a plus.
• Strong experience of using a range of proactive and creative PR tactics to generate high quality and on message PR coverage, such as with celebrities, individual profile building, fundraising and policy influencing campaigns.
• Excellent experience and understanding of different types of PR opportunity and outlet and how to target them, such as broadcast, opinion, news, features and letters.
• Experience of working with celebrities, their managers and agents.
• Experience in measuring and reporting on press coverage, including using media monitoring software to track media engagement, journalists and coverage.
• Excellent understanding of reputation management and associated risks.

• Extensive experience of writing and publishing to social media.
• Competent video editing skills.
• Excellent written English. including writing for journalists and a public audience.

• Proven ability to work well under pressure.

What we're building

Every year, 3,000+ swimmers take on some of the UK's most iconic open water challenges, including the Dart10k, Bantham Swoosh and The Hurly Burly along with our growing series of 24-hour Wild Swim Relays. They swim so that disabled kids who need it most can get life-changing swimming lessons.

Last year, these swimmers raised over £1m. This year, we want to double it. And we need someone who can help us get there.

We're Level Water, a founder-led charity solving learn-to-swim for disabled children. We're not your typical charity. We own the events and run them like a business.  We move fast, test everything, and we're building something that doesn't exist anywhere else.

We've just brought in a new Fundraising Director, and this role is a cornerstone of the team we're building. If you want to help define how a modern charity does supporter care, this is your chance.

The opportunity

This isn't a "send some emails and answer some queries" role. This is a "build something and make it brilliant" role.

You'll own the entire experience for our 3,000 swimmers from the moment they sign up, through their training and fundraising journey, to the event itself (yes, you'll be there), and beyond. You'll design the journey, execute it, measure it, improve it, and scale it.

You'll have the freedom to experiment. Want to test a new communication sequence? Build a WhatsApp community? Launch a training programme? Run in-person meet ups? Create a membership product? Brilliant, build the business case and let's do it.

You'll work with real people who are doing something remarkable. You'll get to know them, thank them, support them, and help them raise more money than they thought possible. And you'll do it in a way that makes them want to come back year after year.

You'll also work closely with our Fundraising Director, Events and Marketing teams to turn our swimmers into our best marketing channel, because the people who've experienced our events are the ones who'll bring their friends next year.

And you'll grow with us. We're scaling fast, and we need people who can scale with us, whether that's into senior leadership, building out new teams, or launching new products.

What you'll actually do

This role owns the supporter experience as a growth engine. You’ll set strategy, drive innovation, and be accountable for how supporter care translates into income, retention and long-term loyalty. You’ll work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to shape priorities, influence decisions, and build something that scales - not just for this year’s events, but for the future of Level Water.

Build relationships that matter

• Get to know our swimmers. Design the experience. Call them. Thank them. Make them feel valued.

• Be there at events throughout the summer meeting people, creating unforgettable experiences, and giving them reasons to come back.

• Deliver the personal touches that deepen connections: handwritten cards, phone calls, training tips, impact updates, recognition, celebration.

Design and optimise the supporter journey

• Own the end-to-end experience: from sign-up emails to post-event stewardship.

• Map out communications across our events portfolio throughout the year and execute them brilliantly.

• Use data to spot opportunities; where are people dropping off? Where can we increase average fundraising? What messages work best?

• Test everything. Buttons, subject lines, timing, tone obsess over the details that drive results.

Identify and unlock growth opportunities

• Spot the swimmers who could become major donors, corporate partners, or monthly givers and move them along that journey.

• Cross-sell and upsell: if someone's just completed their first challenge, how do we make them another offer that they can’t refuse? 

Track, report, and improve

• Keep our CRM up to date and use it intelligently.

• Report regularly on what's working and what's not: fundraising targets, engagement metrics, retention rates.

• Stay ahead of the curve: what are the best organisations doing? What can we learn and adapt?

As we embark on our new three-year funding strategy, we are looking for an innovative and talented fundraiser with a least five years experience, to join the team and help us generate new creative partnerships and opportunities. We are a small, growing team with ambitious fundraising targets and a global reach. Spoons is a charity dedicated to supporting families through neonatal care. Their sole aim is to facilitate a community where families who have experienced neonatal care, can come together and feel safe in sharing their experiences and supporting one another. The Role

The Fundraising Manager will lead on the delivery of a sustainable and diverse fundraising strategy. The main responsibilities will include:

• Growing sustainable income across all fundraising streams, predominantly Community, Individual Giving and Events.

The Person

We are looking for a self-motivated, ambitious individual with a proven track record of delivering income from individual giving and community and events fundraising. Perhaps most importantly, you should be excellent at building relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
