Role Overview: 

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Trusts and Foundations income stream at Global Canopy, bringing exemplary relationship management and stewardship strategies to continue establishing the programme for long-term impact. Key Responsibilities
As a confident and energetic member of Global Canopy’s Development team, you will:

• Oversee the delivery of our Trusts and Foundations programme, shaping plans to ensure outstanding donor engagement and stewardship, future income growth and the delivery of our mission for forests, people and nature
• Personally manage a portfolio of prospects and existing funders at the six- and seven-figure level, inspiring them to give for the first time and continue or increase their giving
• Support the Trusts/Foundations fundraising team to develop a continuous pipeline of unrestricted and restricted funding opportunities
• Working alone and in partnership with other team members, develop high-quality tailored communications, including cases for support, bespoke proposals, concept notes and donor reports that demonstrate Global Canopy’s impact
• Engage and build relationships with peer and partner organisations to identify and explore opportunities for partnership funding applications
• Represent the voice of fundraising on strategic internal Boards and Working Groups, ensuring excellent communication flow between them and the Development team
• Collaborate effectively across the organisation at all levels, operating as a supportive and reliable fundraising colleague
• Work with colleagues across programmes, communications, operations and finance to shape annual plans and budgets 
• Leverage your understanding of market trends to adapt our approach to fundraising and donor engagement
• Effectively manage a high performing Trusts/Foundations team providing clear objectives, supervision and support to enable them to thrive in their roles

Skills and Experience
Successful candidates will:

• Have a proven track record of having identified, cultivated and secured six- and seven-figure funding partnerships with trusts/foundations
• Have proven experience of building relationships of trust, working collaboratively and in close partnership with internal stakeholders to deliver joint outcomes 
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, confident in synthesising complex information for external-facing, donor-friendly communication and talking with funders, prospects and stakeholders
• Be adept in negotiating in complex environments with multiple stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes 
• Be skilled in adapting your style of management to meet individual needs and provide support to team members in achieving their professional and developmental goals 
• Be familiar with the Fundraising Code of Practice and/or other relevant fundraising best practice frameworks
• Have excellent relationship management skills and high emotional intelligence
• Have strong financial literacy, including budgeting and financial reporting
• Be able to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities and demands
• Have experience in working in the forests, nature and/or climate sectors, preferably in a global context
• Familiarity with the human rights and social dimensions of commodity-driven deforestation and environmental degradation and/or the nexus between human rights and nature-related issues would also be beneficial

What’s the role about?

This is a great opportunity to join us as the new Chief Finance Officer. As the Depaul Group continues to experience growth and increases its impact, you’ll lead the effective financial and governance support provided by DPI to its subsidiaries. You’ll be the leading interface between the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees and other corporate bodies and subsidiaries. What will ideally support your success?

It’s important that you also have experience of current financial reporting requirements and financial management practices, including consolidated financial reporting. Strong IT skills as well as an appreciation and understanding of key HR and ICT challenges in the charity sector are desirable. About the role 

As our CRM Product Manager, you will define and deliver a visionary CRM strategy that empowers WaterAid’s fundraising success, working closely with technical teams, fundraising stakeholders, and global partners to drive sustainable change. 

In this role, you will: 

• Set and lead the CRM vision for WaterAid UK and work with international colleagues on a global CRM strategy.

Requirements

To be successful, you will need: 

• Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics or other enterprise CRM platforms, and a clear understanding of how CRM drives fundraising strategy. 
• Strong business and systems analysis skills, including the ability to write effective user stories and translate requirements into actionable solutions. 
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams through technology transformation, with experience in stakeholder management and navigating change. 
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work across diverse cultures and manage supplier relationships and budgets effectively. 

Although not essential, we’d prefer you to have: 

• Knowledge of fundraising-specific CRM services such as GiftAid, Direct Debits, BACs, event and supporter management. 
• Experience with extract, transform and load (ETL) processes, particularly handling large batch data operations. 
• Hands-on experience developing solutions within Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Purpose

Responsibilities

• Strategic Implementation & Fundraising 
• Implementation of a strategic plan to significantly increase major donor income, with a target of 17.5% of overall revenue within 3 years.
• Implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy for major donor income, aligned with CAP's overall strategic priorities.
• Execution of market research and competitor analysis to identify new funding opportunities and best practice in Philanthropic fundraising.
• Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, in order to identify points of engagement and draft appropriate funding bids.

Major Donor Development

• Manage a designated caseload of high-net-worth individuals or trusts, cultivating deep and meaningful relationships.

• Develop compelling restricted funding projects to attract major donor investment.
• Implement a donor recognition program to acknowledge and celebrate major donor support.

Philanthropy Team Membership

• A member of the Philanthropy Team of our Mission and Movement Directorate.
• Providing peer support and development with other members of the Philanthropy Team, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment.
• Work with the Head of Philanthropy to set ambitious targets and KPIs for the postholder, ensuring they are aligned with overall fundraising goals.

Impact & Reporting 

• Ensure that the CRM is updated with engagements, proposal submissions and engagement plans in a timely fashion.

Skills required

Role overview:
The Talent Set is excited to be working with an incredible charity as they search for a Legacy and In Memory Marketing Manager to support them for an exciting 7 month contract.

Key responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Delivery

• Develop and implement LIM operational plans, identifying opportunities to drive future income growth and deepen engagement with diverse supporter audiences.
• Lead the planning and execution of integrated fundraising campaigns, including TV, digital, direct mail, telemarketing, email, and events to increase awareness, generate enquiries, and steward legacy pledgers and in memory donors.

Team Leadership

• Line-manage, coach, and support the LIM Marketing Officer, empowering them to develop professionally and contribute fully to team objectives.
• Approve campaign strategies and briefs, ensuring alignment with annual goals and broader organisational priorities.

Content & Campaign Management

• Oversee content creation, campaign development, and project management to ensure timely, effective delivery.
• Ensure all communications are aligned with brand guidelines and convey consistent messaging across channels.

Performance & Budget Management

• Manage campaign budgets and report on expenditure and outcomes, ensuring cost-effectiveness and strategic alignment.
• Champion a test-and-learn culture within the team, using insights from data and supporter feedback to inform future planning.

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure all communications and data handling meet relevant fundraising regulations and data protection laws (including GDPR).
• Follow procurement protocols, including obtaining quotes, raising purchase orders, and briefing suppliers appropriately.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with other departments and teams to align LIM strategies with broader organisational initiatives and ensure a joined-up supporter experience.
• Represent the LIM audience across cross-functional campaigns and projects, advocating for their needs and interests.

Agency & Supplier Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with external agencies and suppliers to ensure high-quality, timely delivery of campaigns.
• Lead agency selection processes where appropriate, working collaboratively with procurement teams.

Innovation & Market Awareness

• Stay current with trends and developments in legacy and in memory fundraising, bringing forward new ideas to increase impact and engagement.

Person specification:

• Proven experience working with fundraising or marketing campaigns
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management experience.
• Proficient in developing and executing multi-channel campaigns – both direct and digital.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work effectively and independently, prioritising tasks and hitting deadlines.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Data Services, the Data Officer will meet data needs relating to the management and delivery of supporter and engagement products. You will work alongside three other Data Officers to assess, prioritise and provide solutions including the building of data selections and journeys for direct marketing purposes and the running of supporter data imports and exports.

Experience of using CRM Dynamics, Faststats and PeopleStage and or any Donor CRM for marketing purposes will make you a person of interest to us. We will support you in learning to use any of the tools and applications used and actively encourage the development of your data and analytical skills. Communication skills play a key part in this role, because you will need to be able to talk through or present selections or solutions to stakeholders.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Delivering data selections, Building automated journeys for fundraising and engagement activity to support increased income generation and supporter retention, ensuring communications are delivered to agreed Service Level Agreements.
• Providing reports and data sets to supporter product owners, managers and delivery staff to help them maximise the impact of activities.

About You

You will have a proven record of:

• Working with large datasets for marketing purposes and provide solutions and or data in response to enquiries from colleagues and other teams.
• Using a relational customer/supporter database to import and export data to and from external suppliers; including data mapping and the design of appropriate import processes.
• Use of a marketing automation tools such as Faststats and PeopleStage.
