Job overview
The role will focus on growing the value of funding from large trusts and foundations globally, as well as from corporate foundations and institutional funders via consortium partnerships with larger conservation actors.
The role will oversee grant and contract management with existing organisational and institutional partnerships, as well as grow this portfolio through developing a robust pipeline of new opportunities, finding creative ways to secure visibility and first meetings, developing relationships, compelling funding applications and ensuring strong contract management oversight.
The role will lead a team of two, work collaboratively with fundraising colleagues based in the US and UK to secure visibility with and develop strong long-term partnerships with new Trusts and Foundations; and work closely with colleagues in Kenya to ensure strong project delivery and grant management. Responsibilities include:
- Lead the implementation of the Trusts & Foundations (T&Fs) programme with a particular focus on growing the portfolio of large T&Fs in the USA, UK and European markets;
 - Work with fundraising colleagues across priority markets and with communications colleagues, using innovative and proactive approaches to business development and relationship building to unlock visibility opportunities and develop relationships with new prospects; in order to develop and maintain a strong pipeline of high-value funding opportunities.
 - Continue to oversee the current ‘programme funding’ portfolio which includes existing institutional funding partnerships and corporate foundation relationships in Kenya, ensuring that ongoing and new opportunities where they exist are capitalised on.
 - Collaborate closely with and provide technical expertise to Ol Pejeta’s Project Implementation function in Kenya to develop and embed ‘programme funding’ systems, policies, processes, to ensure that the organisation works to the highest standards in grant management;
 - Oversee collaboration and co-working with Ol Pejeta’s Programme teams and other colleagues to ensure high quality project design content is translated into technical proposals and budgets for donors;
 - Work closely with Kenya’s implementation function to support strong project delivery and contract management.
 - As a Head of, actively contribute to team and department objectives through decision making and action on planning, budgeting, monitoring and reporting.
 
Key Activities
- Support the Chief Fundraising Officer with overall strategy development, implementation and adaptation;
 - Work closely with the Chief Fundraising Officer to ensure operational and budget planning, management and reporting of resources;
 - Oversee the T&F team’s operational planning processes, annual reporting and core performance monitoring;
 - Strategic coordination of multiple stakeholders in proposal development processes (programme experts, internal stakeholders, partners and donors);
 - Build strong relationships across all departments of the organisation and with existing and new partners;
 - Support the recruitment process/selection/appointment of fundraising staff across the department.

Business development and management
- Proactively cultivate relationships with key prospects, donors and partners (with particular focus on US, UK and European markets);
 - Network both internally and externally to ensure relevant stakeholder participation and intelligence gathering in various fora;
 - Lead and coordinate proposal development, including budgeting, with programme teams and finance;
 - Collaborate with Ol Pejeta’s communications and marketing department to ensure communication activities appeal to donor interests, promote our partnerships and help to position Ol Pejeta as a partner of choice;
 - Research and share trends and intelligence on T&Fs, and develop relationships that strategically position the organisation to mobilise resources from new and existing donors.
 
Support effective grant & risk management and compliance
- Support the development and implementation of improved business policies to facilitate improved management of and accountability for T&F funding and other larger institutional partnerships;
 - Provide quality assurance and technical backstopping on reporting and general compliance, in line with organisational and donor requirements;
 - Guide the negotiation of strategic grants/contracts to ensure the organisation signs up to appropriate contractual requirements;
 - Advise on the interpretation and application of donor rules, regulations, processes and procedures;
 - Provide guidance and capacity building on grant cycle management to colleagues across the organisation.
 
People Management, Financial Management and Departmental contributions
- Provide inductions to staff across the organisation on T&Fs and institutional funding opportunity;
 - Build, motivate and effectively collaborate with teams remotely;
 - Conduct probationary reviews and annual performance management reviews for direct line management staff;
 - Support the Chief Fundraising Officer to have oversight of the team budget lines;
 - Work collaboratively with colleagues in the global fundraising team based in different geographical locations

Capacity Building and Knowledge Management
- Ensure effective cross-functional collaboration to strengthen fundraising and grant management skills across the organisation;

Education, Language & Qualifications
- Bachelors or equivalent in a relevant field preferably Fundraising / International Development;

 - Language skills in Swahili and German advantageous.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Reporting to the Membership Manager, the Corporate Membership Officer – Commercial Relationships and Fulfilment will:
- Manage and grow relationships with corporate and university members.

Woman’s Trust was established almost thirty years ago and is the leading specialist in mental health services for women. Led by and for women, it aims to ensure that women affected by domestic abuse can live a safe and healthy life, free from further harm. About the role
As a Counselling Project Administrator, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient project administration of Woman’s Trust Counselling services.
This role is part-time, working 28 hours per week to cover a period of maternity leave with a start date of December 2025.

About the role
It’s an exciting and important time for our charity as we work to help more people out of homelessness and poverty as part of an ambitious strategy.
The newly created role of Federation Development Lead will sit within the Partnerships and Federation Development directorate, to support the delivery of key charity and federation-wide objectives, as part of our mission to empower people affected by homelessness and poverty to change their lives for the better while using our voice to achieve social change.
The principal responsibility will be to support our ambition to become a best practice national body, responsible for leading on and supporting the development of key projects within Emmaus UK and the wider federation.
This will include providing leadership to support Emmaus communities across the UK to prepare and respond to the introduction of the Supported Housing (Regulatory Oversight) Act, you will require an understanding and commitment to best practice and legislative requirements related to the provision of supported housing, with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into user friendly support, training, guidance and policies and procedures
The role will also provide a critical role in the implementation and delivery of Emmaus UK’s ambitious plans to seek registration as a provider of social housing. You will provide the project management and technical skills required to support the successful delivery of the application process, ensuring that risk and regulatory requirements are considered and acted upon at each stage, maintaining strong communication with key stakeholders externally and across the federation.
As the Federation Development Lead, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the growth and development of the Emmaus movement within the UK, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement, and supporting the overall success of the federation. Your role will involve supporting the development and delivery of strategic plans, programme design and implementation, stakeholder management, and continuous evaluation and improvement of developed initiatives.
Working with the Director of Partnerships and Federation Development and wider Senior Leadership Team, the role will be central to the delivery of strategic objectives related to the development of the movement.

As PR and Media Officer, you will play a crucial role in raising the profile of Marie Curie through compelling storytelling, high-impact media campaigns, and strategic press engagement. Reporting to the National PR and Media Lead for Research and Policy and working closely with the wider team, your work will directly contribute to influencing public understanding of end of life care, and positioning Marie Curie as the UKs leading end of life charity.
Your creativity, media know-how, and relationship-building skills will help us deliver standout coverage and meaningful public engagement that drives the charity’s long-term goals.
Main responsibilities:
Support the development and delivery of national PR campaigns that promote organisational objectives.
Help manage the charity’s national press office/newsroom, proactively and reactively responding to media opportunities.
Draft and distribute press releases, statements, briefings, and Q&As to position Marie Curie as a leading voice in end of life care.
Build and nurture relationships with journalists across print, online and broadcast media.
Work closely with internal teams to source stories and case studies that drive media impact and support strategic KPIs.
Identify and prepare media spokespeople and storytellers, ensuring authentic and powerful representation of lived experiences.
Monitor emerging issues and support on reputational risk and crisis communications.
Take part in the on-call rota, including occasional out-of-hours, weekend and bank holiday working.
Track and evaluate media coverage against agreed performance metrics.
Key Criteria:
Previous experience in public relations (in-house or agency), particularly in a press office/newsroom setting or as a journalist.
A confident communicator and skilled writer, with strong attention to detail and sensitivity when handling personal stories.
Strong knowledge of the UK media landscape and current affairs, with a proven ability to secure impactful coverage.
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
A nose for a good story and the initiative to pursue media opportunities as they arise.
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

The Southeast and East Asian Centre CIC (SEEAC) is a non-profit organisation registered as a community interest company that provides community-based support to members of the East and Southeast Asian (ESEA) communities, especially those underrepresented and marginalised migrants and refugees in the UK. Our website. This is a part-time role to lead SEEAC’s engagement with the East and Southeast Asian Communities. The Community Engagement Officer is responsible for reaching out, building and maintaining a solid network with community members, identifying and understanding communities’ needs, liaising and coordinating with other stakeholders who can provide relevant support and assistance, and supporting the development of communication materials for the communities. The post holder will work closely with members of the SEEAC staff team, volunteers and partners in organising and promoting community activities and disseminating information to the community members and relevant stakeholders.
To be considered for this role, you must have 2 or more years of demonstrated professional experience working in a community setting or a non-profit organisation involving social justice issues (as an employee or a volunteer) and strong organisational and administrative skills. We expect you to demonstrate proven ability to organise events and activities. You also need to have a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to safeguarding, data protection and confidentiality, as well as a good understanding of project planning and budgeting. You must be able to communicate fluently in English and, preferably with a command of at least one of ESEA languages. It would be beneficial if you have previously worked as part of a diverse team and have exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of quickly establishing good relationships to respond sensitively and confidentially to all stakeholders. You will report to the Programme Manager and collaborate with all members of the staff. At times, you will liaise and collaborate with SEEAC’s stakeholders, such as volunteers and partner organisations, to design and convene activities that effectively support communities’ needs.
Flexible homework is offered in a hybrid setting, with in-person work based at the SEEAC office in East London. To create a better collaboration with other staff members and communities, SEEAC, however, require all staff members to work in the office or on-site occasionally as required. Depending on activities and event planned, the post requires occasional work in the evening and during weekends within contracted hours. Opportunities for skills development training are offered.
