We are looking for a Contracts and Commissioning Manager to join our busy Finance and Commercial team to maintain oversight, monitoring and review of our care services contracts.

Reporting into our Head of Care Homes Finance, this role will see you lead on negotiations and contract management activity across bed-based, day care and Admiral Nurse Services for services purchased by statutory commissioners on behalf of RBLs beneficiaries.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Ensure beneficiary contracts are regularly reviewed and updated to align with current legislation and good practice

· Lead on negotiations with the health and social care commissioners by developing a negotiation strategy and providing scrutiny to the contract requirements

· Develop strong working relationships with the contract managers at each of our host local authorities

· Proactively manage the contractual and funding arrangements for new state-funded residents

· Develop appropriate processes and measures for evidencing contract performance

· Support the Head of Care Homes Finance to identify, manage, and mitigate contractual risks

· Develop appropriate contract management registers, plans, and reports

Fundraising & Development Manager

Main responsibilities will include:

Prospecting and research

• Research the funding market, tracking and identifying suitable high value tendering, commissioning and partnership opportunities and funding streams, in line with Artswork’s strategic plans, priorities, Fundraising and Social & Ethical Policies

• Conduct regular, timely reviews of published tenders and funding opportunities, in order to make recommendations to the Head of Business Development on which ones to pursue

The Role  

This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with up to 3 years of experience in administration which includes administering and monitoring databases. The post will provide the Team with accurate, timely and comprehensive data, reports and minutes to support and enable effective grant making and decision making. The post plays a crucial role in supporting the whole Team in the UK and in Africa with the potential for visiting Egmont Partners and projects in southern & eastern Africa.

Our partner, an international charity, seeks an interim finance manager to support the international finance team. The successful candidate will be an all-rounder, with experience in preparing consolidated annual accounts, management accounts, whilst being hands on and taking on transactional elements of the role.

Responsibilities

• Day to day accounting and administration, including posting transactions; payment of suppliers and staff expenses; international bank transfers to overseas country offices; setting up and processing regular giving payments, and processing one off donations; banking; and process monthly payroll.
• Undertake reconciliations of bank and balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, including BVA analysis and summaries, and income and expenditure reports for budget holders.
• Prepare the annual consolidated accounts and financial statements, and support in the preparation of the annual audit, liaising with the overseas country offices.

Requirements

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant with all-round experience working in a small team within an international charity. Experience of leading on the production of annual consolidated accounts as per charity SORP in the UK, management accounts & analysis, and managing day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks.

• Data-Driven Decision Making: Drive the organisation to use data in its operations, using first party and third-party data sources to facilitate more informed and reliable decision making. • Supporter Insights: Deliver meaningful insight into our supporter base to support our donor acquisition and retention objectives. Build segmentations to be used for targeting.
  
   
• Impact Reporting: With the Director of Data, develop comprehensive impact reporting frameworks, tracking the effectiveness of our charitable activity, and providing the Senior Leadership Team with actionable insights to drive improvements.

Our people:

We are currently a team of 44 people and growing. Since the pandemic, we have moved to a hybrid working model, with some of our team members working remotely, with occasional trips to our Leeds and Birmingham offices, and travel to events around the UK.

We look after our team and have developed a number of wellbeing initiatives to help support our staff. This includes regular wellbeing sessions which cover various themes such as sleeping well, nutrition and goal setting, as well as a range of other staff benefits.

 Major Donor Manager  

Hours: 37 hours per week (1 fte)
Location:  Home based, with occasional travel to our Manor Yard office in Dorset, and other locations for meetings as required
Salary:  Grade D £33,653 - £38,166 depending upon experience plus 8% employer pension contribution

This role will deliver Kidney Care UK’s Patient Support and Advocacy service in the Preston region. This varied role deals with every aspect of a patient’s life that supports better outcomes: welfare benefits, practical, emotional and social support. As well as directly supporting patients, you will raise awareness of the wide range of local and national resources available to kidney patients, and build strong relationships with kidney patients, professionals, and other stakeholder groups in the region.

Relationship Building: Collaborate with university administrators and career services to maximise our presence on campus, developing new pipelines for future delegate recruitment.

Alumni Advisory Board Management:Recruit, onboard, and engage members for the Alumni advisory board. Facilitate board meetings, set agendas, and ensure effective communication and collaboration among board members. Seek input and guidance from the board on alumni engagement strategies and initiatives.

Alumni Development: Organise CPD opportunities for alumni, including seminars, webinars, and skill-building workshops. Coordinate social get-togethers and informal networking events to facilitate connections and foster community among alumni..
