The service provides care and support to over 60 customers living with enduring long term mental health. The role of our Support Worker play's a crucial role in fulfilling our customers expectations, making a positive difference and where appropriate supporting customers to step down to a lower level of support. This Early Intervention approach will enable young people to access support in a timely way within their own community and we will work collaboratively with the Hackney Super Youth Hub enabling a one stop shop experience for local young people.

Main Responsibilities:
· Undertake 1:1, group, detached and outreach work with young people
· Provide one-to-one key-working up to 12 sessions, combining youth work values and principles with a therapeutic, trauma-informed approach to help address a wide range of issues that may impact on young people’s mental health and wellbeing e.g. housing, employment, physical health, education, finances and relationships.

As a Supporter Acquisition Manager, you will:

Community Advice Works is an established community charity based in New Cross in South
East London. As the only charity in the London Borough of Lewisham offering a general
drop-in advice service, we are a critical source of support to vulnerable residents. We have
built a strong reputation within the Borough for providing high quality, independent, person-
centred welfare and housing advice. The organisation employs several part-time staff and
has a team of volunteers. In addition to providing advice we currently deliver a domestic

As service manager, you will work with our friendly staff and trustee team to deliver our vital

Key duties
- Staff and volunteer management

Essential criteria
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a managerial role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Experience of working in a busy environment, managing competing work pressures and prioritising tasks appropriately to ensure key deadlines are met
