About the role

Join ClientEarth as our next Grants Manager and play a vital role in securing the resources that power our mission to protect people and planet. In this role you will lead on renewing and managing income from major trusts, foundations, and institutional funders, while building strong relationships with some of our largest and most strategic partners. The role also offers the chance to help shape and deliver our fundraising strategy across Europe, the US, and Asia.

Meet your Manager

You will be managed by Jamil De Dominicis. Jamil joined ClientEarth in 2019 and is based in London. As Global Head of Grants, he leads the Grants Management team and oversees ClientEarth’s grants income from trusts, foundations and other statutory and institutional funders. Prior to joining ClientEarth, Jamil worked in various policy, research and grant management roles at the international affairs think tank Chatham House and the National Foundation for Youth Music.

Main Duties

• Manage a portfolio of grants from key Trusts, Foundations and statutory funders. Ensure that funders are aware of project performance, and that ClientEarth’s implementation is always in compliance with grant agreements. 
• Develop and produce well researched and comprehensive proposals and reports to existing donors that meet funding priorities and requirements, within the submission deadline and oversee the coordination of Programme, Development and Finance teams as required for effective grant management. 
• Work closely with the Global Head of Grants, Grants Management Lead and wider Development Leadership on budget forecasts and donor pipeline to ensure effective, joined-up cultivation of prospects and income generation. 
• Oversee, review and, as appropriate, sign–off on the work of line managed staff (including reports, proposal, and other written material for internal and external purposes). 
• Support the Global Head of Grants to develop and implement the team’s annual planning and wider fundraising strategy.

Role requirements

• Significant and demonstrable experience of working in a fundraising, grant management or a project management role for a charity, NGO, private or public entity (essential)
• Significant experience of drafting complex proposals for trusts, foundations and statutory institutions and securing multi-year, six and seven-figure grants (essential)
• Experience of successfully managing donor relationships, from cultivation to stewardship encompassing both personal engagement with funders and/or coordinating the input of colleagues from across the organisation (essential)

Role Overview 

The Athlete Learning and Development Manager will design and coordinate a comprehensive learning and development programme for emerging athletes, their parents and caregivers, and alumni. This will be delivered both in person and online. 

This is an exciting time for SportsAid as we expand the support we offer beyond financial assistance, building on the foundations already in place. As part of our evolving approach, we are strengthening the educational resources available to them, ensuring they have access to the guidance and tools they need to thrive both on and off the field. 

The role focuses on identifying athlete-led needs, curating training and workshop programmes, and working with external trainers and providers to deliver impactful sessions that best support SportsAid’s beneficiaries. 

A key aspect of the role is developing educational and training content for the new online community engagement platform we are developing. You will ensure content aligns with SportsAid’s objectives while meeting the priorities of partners funding dedicated hubs within the platform, which will provide training and development content in specific focus areas. You will also help adapt training sessions into engaging, shareable online resources to maximise participation and impact. 

Additionally, you will play a crucial role in planning workshop programmes for key events such as SportsAid Live, ensuring sessions are engaging, relevant, and tailored to the needs of attendees.

Key Responsibilities 

Programme Development 

• Develop and coordinate a holistic learning and development programme for athletes, parents, and caregivers, addressing key areas such as financial literacy, mental wellbeing, career readiness, and communication skills. 

• Identify athlete-led needs and curate relevant educational training programmes, ensuring they align with the challenges faced by young athletes. 

• Build and maintain relationships with external trainers and subject matter experts, ensuring content meets SportsAid’s high standards and is tailored to beneficiary needs. 

• Work with trainers and providers to shape session content, ensuring clarity, relevance, and engagement for athletes and their support networks. 

• Develop structured training strands with corporate partners that align with partnership agreements and engagement objectives. 

• Devise workshop programmes for events such as SportsAid Live, ensuring sessions are interactive, impactful, and meet the needs of attendees. 

• Oversee the development of digital training content to enhance learning and engagement for our online community. 

Training Coordination and Resource Development 

• Coordinate the delivery of training programmes by external trainers through in-person workshops and online webinars. 

• Develop bite-sized digital resources from training materials to be used on our new online community engagement platform, ensuring accessibility and engagement. 

• Ensure that training content aligns with corporate partnership agreements, such as the RBC initiative, and meets funder expectations for educational outcomes. 

• Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, facilitator briefings, and content alignment with SportsAid’s objectives. 

• Ensure training materials and sessions are inclusive and tailored to diverse audiences. 

Engagement and Feedback 

• Engage with athletes, parents, and caregivers to gather feedback on training sessions and resources, ensuring the programme evolves to meet their needs. 

• Monitor platform usage and session participation, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement. 

• Foster an inclusive and collaborative learning environment that encourages peer-to-peer engagement and shared experiences. 

Evaluation and Reporting 

• Evaluate the impact of the training programme on athletes’ personal and professional development, using data to inform future improvements. 

• Provide regular reports to senior leadership and funders, demonstrating the programme’s outcomes and alignment with organisational goals. 

• Stay informed about trends in athlete education, learning delivery, and digital engagement to ensure SportsAid’s approach remains innovative and impactful. 

Person Specification 

Essential Skills and Experience 

• Proven experience in developing and managing learning and development programmes, including working with external trainers or subject matter experts. 

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes to deadlines. 

• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with experience working across teams, organisations, or sports. 

• Experience in curating and shaping educational/training content, ensuring it aligns with audience needs and engagement objectives.

About the role

Reporting in to the Financial Planning & Analysis Lead, the Payroll Manager is a key role within our Finance team responsible for managing all aspects of Christian Aid's Global payroll function ensuring full compliance with relevant national and international legislation regarding salaries, income tax, pensions, national insurance and equivalent schemes (UK and overseas) requiring completeness and accuracy in all aspects to meet organisational needs.

The main areas of responsibility for the post-holder will be:

-Ensure process and systems are in place to facilitate payment for all Christian Aid and contract employees are accurate, on time, in compliance with all local (i.e. both UK and non-UK) legislation on tax and other deductions, and in accordance with Christian Aid employment policies and procedures.

Award-winning music education charity, the London Music Fund, is seeking a Fundraising & Data Manager from October 2025 to join our small team of 3. The role is varied and interesting, with a fundraising and donor reporting focus – the post-holder will support the CEO with all fundraising for the charity, including writing Trust and Foundation applications, research on new prospects, and managing donor reporting. In addition, we hold 2-3 major fundraising events each year, and this role would support the CEO in all aspects of event management.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

The charity currently raises c. £750k annually from a variety of sources including individuals, trusts and foundations, corporates and events. The key aspects of this role are:

Trusts and Foundations

• Research and draft Trust and Foundation applications, updating the prospects and pending report, managing pipelines.
• Manage the reporting schedule (with the Programmes Manager).
• Collate data for reports and maintain positive relationships with funders.

Individual Donor Relations:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records on Salesforce and SharePoint.
• Respond to donor enquiries and provide excellent customer service.
• Manage donor communications, including thank you letters and updates.
• Assist with donor stewardship activities to build relationships and encourage continued support.
• Manage the Scholarship Sponsor reporting schedule (with the Programmes Manager).
• Lead on the management and growth of the Friends Scheme, including developing relationships and reporting.

Data Management and Impact Reporting

• Maintain and update the fundraising database (Salesforce), including GDPR and Gift Aid records, processing donations, ensuring compliance with current regulations.

The Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser will work closely with other members of the Fundraising team to support our corporate challenge events, encourage staff engagement, and develop sponsorship packages for major events such as The Brighton Half Marathon, which we own, and community challenges. This collaborative approach enhances visibility and fosters a sense of shared purpose among partners and supporters alike.

 Business Networking Events

 The postholder will represent The Sussex Beacon at a variety of business networking events, including LGBTQ+ network events, across Sussex and beyond. These events offer valuable opportunities to connect with potential partners, showcase the charity’s impact, and build strategic relationships. The Fundraiser will be proactive in identifying and attending relevant events, from Chamber of Commerce meetings to local business expos, ensuring The Sussex Beacon maintains a visible and professional presence in the corporate community.

 Other duties

· Maintain accurate records of partner interactions and income through the charity’s CRM system.

· Prepare regular reports and updates for the Head of Income and senior leadership.

· Work with the communications team to highlight successful partnerships and case studies.

· Support the wider fundraising team during peak periods or major campaigns.

· Stay up to date with trends and developments in corporate fundraising and CSR.

· Responsibility alongside fundraising for corporate events such as The Sussex Beacon relay and 5k inflatable course.

How are staff supported to work remotely? 

VoiceAbility has a small number of offices. Employees including Team Leaders are homebased for Administration and meetings will be held online as well as in person in the relevant community.

Bromley Recovery and Wellbeing College (BRWC) runs a curriculum of free peer and professional-led workshops and courses across the borough of Bromley. We have an exciting opportunity for a Bromley Recovery and Wellbeing College coordinator to join SEL Mind on a one year fixed-term basis. You will work closely with the Bromley Recovery and Wellbeing Manager to develop a high quality college offer to the residents of Bromley. The role comes with the responsibility to provide day to day support and guidance to a team of tutors and volunteer co-facilitators to ensure efficient delivery of the college.

OVERVIEW OF THE POST

The Youth & Communities Programme Manager provides leadership and management for the youth & communities team and their programme of work, driving quality delivery and growth.
