Job Purpose:
Working in Wakefield and Calderdale you will build trusted relationships with Leeds GATE members, residents and families living on the Heath Common local authority site (Wakefield), yards, houses and roadside across the Wakefield district and Calderdale Borough.

About the role
As Data Curator, you will play a key role in making sure our data can be used safely, effectively and insightfully to support research and generate impact. You will work closely with colleagues behind the NIoT’s Teacher Education Dataset (TED), helping to maintain and enhance curated datasets and explore how new sources of data can strengthen our understanding of teacher and leader development.
You will also collaborate with researchers and practitioners working through the NIoT’s Professional Development Laboratory, our test-and-learn centre focused on identifying and sharing effective approaches to professional development. Overview of the role
The Senior Caseworker – MD Lead plays a dual role in delivering high-quality casework services while providing specialist support and guidance to colleagues working with guests experiencing multiple disadvantages. The role provides advice, advocacy and casework support to a caseload of guests across our homelessness and vulnerable housing services, with a particular focus on those presenting with long-term, complex and multiple needs. The role will also contribute to a collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach, ensuring guests receive coordinated, person-centred support.

1. Advice and advocacy
· Providing an advice and advocacy service to a caseload of guests from across all our services for the homeless and vulnerably housed who present with long-term and complex needs, caseworking a smaller and more consistent caseload than other members of the team but working with them more intensively.
· Employing creative thinking and practices to ensure that guests are supported and motivated to achieve their goals, primarily to access and maintain accommodation and develop durable support networks
· Attending appointments with guests as needed and carrying out home visits
· Working with Caseworker colleagues to strengthen their understanding of complex needs, developing their confidence and ability to work effectively with guests
· Creating best practice guidelines to ensure consistency and accessible support.

4. Women’s Night Shelter lead
· Responsible for the day-to-day leadership and coordination of the casework provided to the women’s night shelter over the winter months.
· Ensuring that women accessing the service receive high-quality, person-centred support, advice and advocacy, both by taking on a caseload of clients and supporting the other caseworkers involved in the women’s night shelter. Helping guests to address immediate needs, while supporting them to access appropriate housing, health, welfare, legal and other specialist services.
· Participating in a weekly casework drop-in for guests of the women’s night shelter over winter; providing a safe, welcoming and trauma-informed environment to deliver casework to women experiencing homelessness, insecure housing and multiple disadvantages.
· Maintaining all safeguarding and risk management protocols.
5. Monitoring impact and administration
· Collating statistics and outcome measurements of the casework service for both internal and external use
· Maintaining a well-organised and easily accessible administration system for the casework programme in line with relevant legislation (e.g., GDPR), including accurate and up-to-date case notes using our internal In-Form system
· Adherence to all Glass Door policies and procedures, including compliance with safeguarding procedures
· Managing a small casework budget
· Proactively identifying areas for improvement and development of service provision

Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis (APF) is the UK’s leading patient charity dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by pulmonary fibrosis. Founded in 2013 by people affected by PF and clinicians, APF has grown into a respected national charity rooted in community and evidence. Role Purpose
We are looking for a Senior Education and Events Officer to coordinate and deliver our education and events programme for people affected by pulmonary fibrosis, healthcare professionals and wider stakeholders.
This is a hands-on role at the heart of APF’s work. You will plan and deliver education sessions, webinars, conferences and events, making sure they are welcoming, accessible, well organised and shaped around the needs of the people we support.
You will manage the full attendee journey, from registration and communications through to delivery, feedback and follow-up. You will also coordinate APF’s presence at external conferences, work with speakers, clinicians and partners, and help ensure people who engage with our events can easily access wider APF information, support and opportunities.
We are looking for someone with strong experience of organising events, education sessions, webinars, training or similar activity. You will be highly organised, confident working with a wide range of stakeholders and comfortable managing logistics, digital platforms, databases and attendee communications.
You will also be confident hosting or supporting sessions both online and in person, and able to use feedback and data to improve future activity.
This is a great opportunity to help APF deliver high-quality education and events that give people affected by pulmonary fibrosis practical information, reassurance and confidence throughout their journey.
