The Fundraising Officer at the Childhood Eye Cancer Trust (CHECT) supports a wide range of the charity’s activities, including but not limited to, helping to develop and grow income from individual donors with a focus on developing strong relationships with donors and families; as well as assisting with CHECT’s overall admin and operations.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping families affected by retinoblastoma and shares our values to increase awareness through communications and appeals, expanding our social media and website content and supporting our exciting fundraising efforts.
You will have a high level of autonomy and will be given the opportunity to develop new ideas in a role that is varied and flexible.
Key Objectives of the role:
- To assist the Fundraising Manager on the organisation of events primarily mass participation events
- To assist the Fundraising Manager in providing excellent stewardship to all of CHECT’s supporters
- Management of the fundraising inbox, social media and regular email and telephone communications
- To provide admin and communication support to the wider CHECT team, monitoring the info@inbox and collecting and sending office post

The Head of Services - Rough Sleeping is a brand-new role for the organisation and will lead on developing a new internal strategy for young people facing rough sleeping, as well as holding operational oversight of our established youth-specific street outreach function and emergency accommodation hub, both of which are unique in London. You will need to be strategic in approach and an excellent relationship builder. You will act as our lead colleague on relationships with the Greater London Authority and London Councils’ rough sleeping teams, working with them to ensure our learning and insights inform policy and ultimately open up access to emergency support for those under 25. Alongside this you will need a keen eye for operational detail, have experience of delivering homelessness services, and be passionate about piloting new solutions to prevent homelessness among young people. Role overview
The Project Support Officer will support our Programmes Team with activity related to project delivery while members of the team are on maternity leave. The postholder will be responsible for completing a variety of project delivery tasks that support the smooth running of our online mentoring. Work closely with the Service Management Team to develop and deliver an outstanding approach to people management, building a learning culture that delivers high quality, extensive support enabling people to achieve their best as a team.
- Represent Jigsaw4u at formal meetings with funders and other stakeholders and through submission of reports and data requests. Establish new, and strengthen existing, external relationships to promote Jigsaw4u’s profile, influence and reputation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements, and adherence to relevant professional codes and standards of good practice.

- Support the CEO and fundraising team in generating income

I am excited to be working alongside an amazing health charity in search of an Education Guidelines Officer. As Education Guidelines Officer your role will be to liaise with personnel and stakeholders to organise and ensure the smooth running of the organisations Guidelines and Education function.
Main duties:
Co-ordinate and service the guidelines Task Forces working groups with their writing groups, managing all administration for meetings.
Service any education committee preparation with the Senior Education Officer using Sharepoint.
Administer virtual events liaising with speakers, registrations and recording events on the day.
Provide support to the Senior Education Officer on administration for any other events where necessary.
Maintain the membership list of guidelines task forces and education data on Sharepoint.
Records management of the guidelines and education area.
Update and maintain spreadsheets of guidelines for signed Declaration of Interest forms and SharePoint.
Liaise with Task Force chairs to appoint rep-resentatives for appraisals and maintain an up-to-date list of appraisals for which the organisation is a stakeholder.
Maintain email distribution lists and update and maintain the guidelines database.
Help Senior Guidelines Officer and Senior Education Officer to maintain up-to-date information on the website (Task Force membership, publication dates, events, case reports, images etc) as well as archiving, removing, and adding new guidelines, events and audit templates when required.
Maintain and update audit templates data and audits spreadsheet.
Aid Senior Guidelines Officer to add audio and written commentaries to guidelines and good practice papers on website when required.
Help Senior Guidelines Officer with summary, uploads and statistical reporting.
Work with the volunteers to ensure courses are aligned with learner outcomes.
Support the development, delivery and evaluation of the online education programmes and resources in collaboration with Senior Education Officer and relevant staff members/committees members.
