Purpose of the Children and Young People Training Coordinator role:
As Children and Young People Training Coordinator, the successful candidate will play an integral role in supporting the Children and Young People (CYP) team with the daily functions that are necessary to enable the CYP work (What Works and Expect Respect programmes) to run smoothly and includes the effective and strategic support for training structures by being the key contact for external coordination with schools and the assistance of training delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and running the effective implementation and maintenance of administrative structures, systems, and processes.
Key duties and responsibilities of the Children and Young People Training Coordinator:
- To act as the point of contact and reference for training officers, schools and other internal and external partners and customers
- To organise the timetabling, travel and logistics, materials and other relevant support to the ensure the smooth delivery of the programme.
- To ensure that payments, invoicing and purchases and expenses are accurately processed to always ensure financial accountability.
- To track the impact of the programme delivery and maintain accurate records that can support reporting to the Accountable lead, the board and to funders.
- To maintain the team’s risk register and ensure that data is stored and managed in line with GDPR and confidentiality.
- To support the service in any other way necessary within the parameters of the role.

We are seeking a VCSE Brokerage Manager to lead the development of a Brokerage Framework, which will provide a clear, fair, inclusive and proportionate way for health and social care system partners to reach VCSE organisations.
About Us
The Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) VCSE Alliance launched in January 2024. It aims to influence and facilitate greater collaboration between the regional health system (BNSSG Integrated Care System) and the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise Sector (VCSE). It seeks to do this by enhancing the role of the VCSE sector in the delivery and transformation of wellbeing and health, and cementing our sector’s role as a key strategic partner in the planning, design and delivery of health and care, in its widest possible definition.
The co-design of a new ‘VCSE Brokerage Framework’ with colleagues from the Integrated Care Board (ICB) and System (ICS) is a key priority for the VCSE Alliance in 2024-25. The aim of the Brokerage Framework is to provide a clear, fair, inclusive and proportionate way for health and social care system partners to reach a diverse range of VCSE organisations. The intention is for it to be a new process by which grants and opportunities can be distributed to the sector.

The VCSE Brokerage Manager’s role is to lead on the further development, piloting, and preparation for launch of the Brokerage Framework. Ensuring that diverse VCSE organisations, from micro to large scale and that serve communities of interest, of place and of practice are included and enabled in the brokerage framework will be crucial to the success of this role.

Job Purpose
The purpose of the Programme Coordinator is co-ordinate with all parties (Community Engagement Manager, the Programme Manager, LMK Leaders and the host organisations) to enable LMK to deliver high quality workshops for young people/youth work professionals/workplaces.
Acting as the lynchpin of the organisation’s delivery team, the Programme Coordinator takes the workshop brief from the LMK Community Engagement Manager and then works with the Programme Manager to secure facilitators (LMK leaders), ensures the host organisation receives all supporting information, and provides LMK Leaders with the resources they need to deliver the workshop effectively. This role is also responsible for regular reporting about workshop bookings and delivery.
Reporting to our CEO, the successful candidate will be part of LMK’s core staff team. You will work with LMK staff, LMK Leaders, members of our Youth Advisory Board, trustees and key stakeholders to develop and implement our long-term strategy.
Key responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer service to organisations who are hosting LMK workshops, ensuring that all communication is timely and accurate, and any questions are responded to in full.

VOICES are excited to be seeking our first full time fundraiser to support our growth and development. A project has been established that is currently working with 33 schools and 33 churches in developing discipleship pathways for children and young people in Bolton. One key aspect of this project is the ‘Shades Project’, which focuses on racial justice and faith, supporting schools and churches in developing a culture for all children and young people, regardless of racial background, to thrive and flourish. In response to the exciting growth of the Shades Project, they are looking to appoint a Shades Project Worker to support the growing opportunities for Christian discipleship and to embed the Shades ethos in primary and secondary schools and parishes in Bolton deanery.
The Shades Project Worker will work with the Shades team in primary and secondary schools, delivering Shades Collective Worship and Shades ‘Faith and Identity’ workshops. They will also lead Shades Ambassadors groups for those children and young people who are passionate about growing in their understanding of racial justice, the Christian faith, and becoming courageous advocates. The Shades Project Worker will also work with Bolton parishes and mission communities to promote the Christian message of God’s love for all of his children, encouraging children, young people, and adults to celebrate their God-given identities and to grow spiritually.
The Shades Project Worker will have many opportunities for training and development, as well as the creative freedom to develop initiatives for children and young people. Collaborating closely with the CEO and the Director of Commercial and Operations, as well as other staff to align the Union's financial, operational, and commercial strategies with its overall mission and goals.
This role will:

Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the Union's financial, HR, and operational functions

Ensure robust financial controls, accurate reporting, and compliance with relevant regulations.

Drive continuous improvement in operational processes and systems.
