We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Legacy Operations Assistant. In this role, we need you to provide exceptional operational and administrative support to the legacy product team, and to undertake all scheduled operational duties as required.

What will I be doing?

• Distributing and scanning of daily incoming post to relevant staff members 

• Creating and allocating new Legacy cases to the Legacy Case Management Team 

• Creating new solicitor records on the website and CRM system, and informing Finance Team 

• Reconciling and inputting income data (cheques and bank transfers) received by the Legacy team

• Responding to queries from all Legacy audiences, via email and telephone 

• Maintain data quality - merging records and other data processing tasks as required (First Class and Siebel) 

• Raising Purchase Orders and raising invoices when required 

• Building and maintaining excellent knowledge of Cancer Research UK's Will-Writing Services, Case Administration and associated systems and processes 

• Supporting project work relating to Legacy operations, by sharing knowledge of internal processes  

• Responsible for monitoring and ordering materials, maintaining and tracking stock levels as required, ensuring key internal stakeholders are informed.

This is an exciting role working within a pioneering new project, which will complement and support the work of the Pan-London Navigators in helping clients with an extensive history of rough sleeping to sustain accommodation in the community and build a new life away from the streets. • Organize “Community Club” outings with the rest of the Housing Led team to create an empowering and safe social space for residents to interact with each other

The Stories Manager is responsible for amplifying the voice of people who have been affected by pregnancy and baby loss to call for change, while demonstrating the impact of Tommy’s research and support services through storytelling.

Home based role and living within the relevant region or close enough proximity to be able to travel and meet the requirements of this role’ (subject to meeting homeworking assessment requirements, which includes a minimum broadband speed of 18Mbps). 

In this new but key role you will be responsible for assisting the Senior Negotiating Officer to manage and support our stewards, safety and equality representative networks across Yorkshire and Humber region, advising them in providing individual and collective industrial relations support to members, working both in and outside of the NHS. You will also be expected to spend approximately 25% of your time, managing cases from across the UK, but predominantly from nearby regions.

The postholder will work in collaboration with other health trade unions across the region.

You will work with the CSP regional team to recruit and organise members, influence on local workforce issues and promote physiotherapy.

You will provide representation for members at disciplinary hearings, grievances and disputes with employers, and provide general advice and information to representatives and members on issues such as pay, terms and conditions, and employment legislation.

With significant trade union experience at a senior level, and an understanding of NHS structures and government policy on health, you will have excellent communication, negotiation, training and presentational skills, combined with a strong collaborative approach and a thorough understanding of, and commitment to, equality and diversity principles and the ability to put them into practice.

The role will be home-based, but geographically will be required to cover clubs and leagues. Regular travel to clubs’ stadiums will be required, as well as occasional travel to our office at Wembley Stadium in London.

The Premier League Stadium Fund, fully funded by the Premier League and administered by the Football Foundation, provides capital grants to improve stadium facilities for players, supporters, and officials. It supports clubs across the football pyramid, including those in the National League System (Steps 1–6), Women’s Football Pyramid (Tiers 1–4), and clubs promoted to the English Football League. The fund covers ground-grading requirements and includes a Club Development Fund to help clubs grow and improve sustainability.

The role

Working as part of a team of Technical Managers, you will support our Stadium Accreditation Programme and will lead on the technical/construction aspects of Premier League Stadium Fund grant projects.

You will support the Stadium Accreditation Programme by helping establish new ways of working following the initial assessment of approximately 1,000 stadiums across England and Wales. You will have responsibility for a set of leagues and clubs across the Midlands and the East of England and you will work with them to ensure their compliance while also delivering against the objectives outlined within the new Premier League Stadium Fund Facilities Strategy.

You will be responsible for the scrutiny of the technical/construction aspects of Premier League Stadium Fund grant applications and ensuring the successful completion of new and improved stadium facilities. As part of this process, you will provide professional advice and guidance to applicants to assist with the development of capital projects, within the National League System (NLS) and Women’s Football Pyramid (WFP).

You’ll support clubs in addressing Stadium Accreditation findings, assess their grant applications, and oversee funded projects to ensure construction is completed on time and to plan.

What are we looking for?

You’ll need a construction-related degree or professional qualification (for example RICS, CIOB, RIBA or equivalent), or the equivalent experience in a construction management or technical role. You’ll have expertise in construction processes, and experience of delivering facilities from inception to completion. Experience in sports facility construction is desirable but not essential.

You’ll need excellent people skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and handle challenging situations confidently. Strong organisation, attention to detail, and sound decision-making are essential. You should also be adaptable and open to new technologies to help drive ongoing improvements in the Premier League Stadium Fund and Stadium Accreditation programme.

The salary band for this role is £38,000 - £48,000 per annum, dependent on relevant skills and experience.

Event support

• Support with planning and executing of large events including attendee registration, youth participation, materials preparation and using the CRM system.

Other

• Represent the Policy Team at external and internal meetings, policy forums and events.
• Work collaboratively with other teams and directorates to help build an understanding of the work of the Policy and Public Affairs team and effective working relationships across the organisation.
