The Trusts and Foundations Officer will support the Trusts and Foundations team to meet income targets and develop and maintain relationships with donors and prospects. The role combines supporting the Trusts and Foundations Manager, Senior Trusts Officer, and Head of Fundraising with the maintenance of existing relationships as well as generating their own income from both smaller and larger trusts. The successful candidate will demonstrate success in securing grants from charitable trusts, foundations, and institutional donors. Proven experience in trust and foundation fundraising, preferably within the nonprofit sector or a similar environment is essential.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated candidate who is looking for a career in fundraising. This role is based at our National Contact Centre in Cardiff.

- Able to respond to victims of and those affected by crime by providing emotional support, information and referral on to Victim Support services and other agencies

Senior Development Officer (Fundraising)
JOB DESCRIPTION
Role:The Senior Development Officer plays an integral role within the Development Team at Forces Employment Charity (FEC). You will work with the Head of Development to produce high quality, bespoke proposals, and reports to demonstrate impact and outcomes to help drive the delivery of FEC across the UK. This is a demanding, yet hugely fulfilling new post in which the post holder will have overall responsibilty for the management and day to day operations of our new mobile support van. A large proportion of the post holder's time will be spent taking the van along with a team of volunteers on outreach to where there are survivors of sex trafficking. Our immediate priority area is Bedford. This will involve driving to sites of sexual exploitation and trafficking, such as the streets, properties used as brothels, airports and other places, as necessary. The post holder will lead outreach sessions supported by trained volunteers, in partnership with Bedfordshire Police and UK Border Force. The post holder will be a part of Azalea's frontline team (we call this Encompass) and will work with them to offer survivors of sex trafficking crisis intervention and ongoing support. The nature of this form of outreach will require the post holder to work flexible and unsociable hours (37.5 hours per week), however Azalea offers a generous annual leave allowance. Since this is a new role, the post holder will be required to use their initiative and draw on the knowledge and experience of the team to develop a full-time operational plan for the support van.

Position: S11156 Stroke Association Support Coordinator
Location: Home-based, Hertfordshire, however frequent travel will be required as part of this role (to include team meetings or other work-related meetings)
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
Salary: Circa £26,700 per annum
Contract: Our services are contracted, we currently have funding for this contract until 31 March 2025.

The Role
Reporting to the Service Delivery Coach in the East of England, you will have the ability to support stroke survivors to identify their goals. Using strong assessment skills and a person-centred approach enabling them to maximise their recovery and improve communication.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Supporting new stroke survivors and their carers to adjust to life after stroke following hospital discharge into the community.
· Providing personalised information, advice and support.
· Enabling stroke survivors to make informed lifestyle changes which will help them to prevent further strokes.
· Working with other health and social care professionals across the stroke pathway to ensure high quality support.
About You
You will have experience in:
· Experience/ background of providing person centred support to people with a disability or long-term health condition and their carers.
· Excellent IT skills and an ability to maintain accurate records.
· An affinity with the values of the Stroke Association.
· A flexible approach and an ability to effectively manage a caseload.
This role requires extensive travel across a large geographical locality to visit people at home and in community settings. Candidates must be able to demonstrate how they can meet this requirement of the role.

About the role:
This role is based at our National Contact Centre in Cardiff. There will be an initial induction period that will run Monday, Wednesday & Friday 9am-5pm for a 4 week period. After successfully completing your induction, you will move to your fixed rota of:
Week 1: Monday 8am-4pm, Thursday 8am-4pm & Sunday 9am-5pm
Week 2: Wednesday 11pm-7am, Thursday 11pm-7am & Friday 11pm-7am
Week 3: Wednesday 11am-7pm, Saturday 9am-5pm & Sunday 9am-5pm
As a Helpline Adviser you will be: -
- Able to respond to victims of and those affected by crime by providing emotional support, information and referrals on to Victim Support services and other agencies
- Providing immediate support, advice and trauma first aid referrals to victims of and those affected by major incidents and terrorism.
- Seamlessly working across multiple services with different processes, procedures and recording mechanisms.
- Managing and responding appropriately to competing priorities, services and needs.
- Responsible for taking disclosures and responding appropriately by either escalating the safeguarding concern to the 'Designated Safeguarding Officer' or to respond immediately to life threatening situations.
You will need:
- Experience of working in challenging and changing environments with the emphasis on excellence in service delivery.
- Experience of organising and prioritising a complex workload.
- The ability to deal sensitively with challenging and emotionally charged situations, demonstrate empathy and control own emotions.
