About the Role
- Community Resettlement Workers support clients who have moved in to independent accommodation, usually from the street or hostels. The accommodation is across London and your role is to work alongside individuals as they transition towards independence.
- By adopting a flexible, creative and personalised approach you will support individuals to manage their tenancies in the community and improve their quality of life.
- This service is a stepping stone towards independence and you will continue to work with these clients for up to two years to prevent them from returning to the street, to support them to build networks of support in their local community and to help them to move on into permanent accommodation.
- This role is offered as a fixed term contract until 31st March 2026.

The Brompton Fountain is the children’s charity at Royal Brompton Hospital - a world leading specialist centre for complex heart and lung disease. We work in partnership with the teams on the wards, paediatric intensive care unit (PICU) and in outpatient clinics. Our charity provides support and resources for patients, families and staff, as well as funding lifesaving medical equipment, accommodation - so that parents can stay close to their child during an admission, toys and entertainment for the playroom and improvements to the facilities to create the best possible environment for families to promote their wellbeing during what can often be a very challenging time. Main Duties and Responsilbilties
Community and Events Fundraising
• Assist in the planning and execution of a diverse range of fundraising events, including challenge events and community initiatives.
• Support the management of event logistics, including participant communication, volunteer coordination, and on-the-day activities.
• Collaborate with external partners and suppliers to ensure smooth event operations and build strong relationships for future collaboration.

Individual Giving
• Manage the regular giving programme by implementing a rolling 12-month plan of meaningful touchpoints to deepen relationships.
• Develop and implement a plan to encourage increased giving and recruit new regular donors with personalised cultivation and stewardship.
• Maximise engagement and retention of individual supporters (giving at lower to mid-level) by prompt thanking, excellent stewardship and building effective donor journeys.
Supporter Care
• Serve as the primary point of contact for community and events fundraisers, delivering outstanding stewardship ensuring they receive the information and support needed to maximise their fundraising potential while maintaining the highest standards of stewardship and being respectful of potential sensitivities particularly when working with families who are fundraising in memory.
• Provide timely and effective follow-up communications with supporters, ensuring they feel valued and engaged.
• Maintain our CRM database ensuring accurate records to track communications, income, and supporter preferences, ensuring compliance with GDPR and data protection laws.
Administrative and Financial Support
• Process cash and cheque donations, Gift Aid and matched funding claims, ensuring this income is processed and recorded accurately on our database.
• Manage the distribution of supporter resources, conduct stock checks for fundraising materials and ensure an organised work environment for all fundraising assets.
• Overseeing our online shop.
Marketing and Communication
• Create engaging materials (posters, leaflets, stories etc), social media content and e-newsletters to inspire participation in fundraising activities.
• Produce impact reports and collate information for the HOF to support fundraising initiatives and grant applications.
• Ensure fundraising and associated webpages are kept up to date. Team Collaboration
• Work collaboratively with the wider team (when required) to support in-hospital and community events as well as assisting with tasks as needed to ensure smooth charity operations.
• Support the CEO and team members with ad hoc projects, activities, and any high-priority tasks to contribute to overall team objectives.
• Any other duties as required by the Head of Fundraising.
Additional Information
Salary is £30,000 - £32,000 per annum (DOE). The role covers 37.5 hours per week. Two days per week working in our charity office at Royal Brompton Hospital - London, and the remaining hours to be worked remotely. Occasional evening and weekend work subject to our events calendar. One-year fixed term contract with the potential to extend contract length subject to performance and funding.

It is run by a team of project workers, under the Director, who are responsible for its smooth operation. Within this role you will play a key role providing generalist HR support across the organisation. You will coordinate and support with recruitment campaigns, onboarding processes, employee relations, performance management processes, learning and development activities, maintaining and developing HR policies and manage payroll. You will be the first point of contact for HR related queries and manage HR administration and systems.
To be successful in this role, you will be educated to UK Degree level (international Level 6) or equivalent qualification ideally in HR Management/professional HR qualification (CIPD level 5 or above). You will have demonstrable experience working in generalist/operational HR at a similar level within the UK, with knowledge of international employment mechanisms.
You will have experience of developing and implementing HR policy based on best practice and current legislation (UK and international). You will have experience of supporting multi-disciplinary teams in a remote working and multicultural environment. Scope of role
The Debt Technical Supervisor is responsible for supporting Debt Advisers to ensure the delivery of accurate, effective, and tailored advice to over-indebted clients. This role involves conducting debt-advice interview observations, reviewing case files, and identifying training needs for advisers. The Debt Technical Supervisor provides real-time support and constructive feedback, helping advisers navigate complex cases and ensuring they have access to the necessary resources and information. Additionally, the role includes auditing delivery partner organisations to prepare them for external reviews and supporting them in meeting compliance and quality standards. The supervisor will collaborate with the Quality Assurance Manager to promote best practices, address risks, and contribute to the continuous professional development of advisers.
Key Responsibilities
Support Debt Advisers in their roles and ensure that the advice provided to over- indebted Clients is accurate, effective and tailored to individuals’ circumstances.
- Conducting debt-advice interview observations.
- Undertaking debt advice file reviews.
- Identifying advisers’ soft skill and technical training needs.
- Providing constructive feedback, and pastoral support, to advisers and their line managers.
- Providing real-time support to advisers, which will include but is not limited to providing guidance in complex matters and provide advisers with sources of information.
Support, and regularly audit delivery partner organisations, ensuring that they are prepared for external reviews of their service in line with the Grant Agreement.
- Ensure partner organisation are kept up to date with the requirements for external assessments.
- Supporting partner organisations with the preparation and review of files and documentation ahead of an external assessment.
- Support partner organisations with the implementation of any remedial actions following an external review and support advisors to identify suitable training to improve areas highlighted.
Ensure project compliance and quality requirements are achieved
- Working closely with the Quality Assurance Mangers to ensure Advisors based at delivery partners have a good awareness and understanding of the quality and service delivery requirements and have active involvement in the delivery of partnership events related to both quality improvement and CPD.
- Working collaboratively to share good practice in performance and quality improvement and to progress key priority areas of work.
- Escalating risks promptly and appropriately and contributing to wider monitoring and reporting requirements.

Our day centre service is currently open three days per-week offering respite, food and somewhere safe to be for anyone facing street homelessness. It provides advocacy and casework services to those who are vulnerably housed or homeless, supporting them to address their individual crisis and the underlying causes. We also provide a small year round night shelter provision.
APAP works in close partnership with a number of key agencies locally including drug and alcohol teams, street outreach services, local authority housing teams and the wider VCS. We are a gateway service in the community through which our clients can access a range of support.
The Community Fundraising and Partnerships Coordinator will be responsible for developing and nurturing relationships within the local community to support APAP’s fundraising efforts, including schools, local businesses, faith and community groups. A key feature of this role will be developing increased year-round community engagement and fundraising, leading into the planning and delivery of at least one annual fundraising campaign. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to engage directly with stakeholders to build strong partnerships, whilst contributing strategically to the growth of the charity's fundraising efforts.
