You will coach and develop your team to support senior leaders and department heads in driving transformation, improving operational efficiency, and helping the charity achieve its long-term strategic goals.
 

What does this role do?
As Head of Business Change, you will:

• Lead, manage, and coach the managers in your team, building a high-performing team and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the charity.
• Champion change across the organisation, ensuring staff are engaged, aligned, and supported through transformation initiatives.
•  Develop, implement, and maintain a robust Change Management Framework to provide a clear, structured view of all organisational change and guide teams through transitions.
•  Oversee change initiatives, working with leaders and project teams to assess impact, implement solutions, track progress, and measure success.
•  Support business improvement and long-term planning, using methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma to optimise processes, drive efficiency, and enable sustainable improvements.

First stage interviews for this role are provisionally scheduled for Wednesday 10th December 2025, and will take place on Teams. Second stage interviews are provisionally scheduled for Tuesday 16th December at our London office.

We are seeking a Community Development Officer to lead a major in-progress project improving recognition, support, and care for people with smell and taste disorders at a local level across England. 

This three-year, volunteer-led programme, funded by The National Lottery Community Fund has achieved significant success in its first eighteen months. We are now recruiting a new postholder to take this strong foundation forward through the next phase of delivery. 

Over the past eighteen months, we have recruited and established a thriving network of volunteers and local groups across England. This momentum is expected to continue. The Community Development Officer will work closely with existing volunteers and groups, primarily remotely, while also attending in-person events and meetings in different parts of England as needed. 

The postholder will lead the ongoing recruitment, training, and support of volunteer groups, working with them to identify opportunities for local outreach and engagement. Together, you will ensure that more people affected by smell and taste disorders access the information, support, and recognition they need, while continuing to raise awareness of these often-unrecognised sensory impairments.

As Managing Director, you will provide strategic direction for the charity, employing a collaborative leadership style to ensure that the achievement of the charity’s vision and objectives is supported by an engaged and culturally healthy staff team.

You will ensure the projects are run in-line with our policies, legal requirements, and budgets, with an overarching understanding of the charity’s finances and fundraising.

This role will deliver the ITF Group financial budget, forecasts, reports of actual results and explanations of variances, be responsible for the chart of accounts and accruals and prepayments, and develop and exploit the use of finance systems and interfaces with other systems.

Your core responsibilities will include:

•  Budgeting, forecasting and reporting: Deliver the ITF Group financial budget and forecasts, propose budgeting assumptions, issue monthly accounts and variance analysis and report on financial risks and opportunities.
• Engage with stakeholders: Deliver reports of actual results, and explanations of variances to budget and forecast, to the Finance Director, senior managers and other stakeholders.
• Group-wide reporting: Review, challenge as required, and process expenditure returns from regional offices and upload these to the finance system to be included in ITF Group actual results.
• Chart of accounts: Responsible for the chart of accounts, opening and closing elements of the accounts, other coding matters, and controlling access rights to the finance systems and other financial information.
•  Accounting: Responsible for all accruals and prepayments, including overseeing those posted by the Head of Finance, Financial Controller and others.
• Supporting business partners: Provide regular donor funding reporting, accrue or defer income and expenditure, and make coding changes as requested by the donor funding team.
• Assisting audits: Prepare for and assist with the external audit and year-end and complete allocated balance sheet reconciliations.
• Strategy and projects: Strategic and ad hoc projects and financial modelling.
• Systems: Develop and exploit the use of finance systems and interfaces with other systems, upgrade finance systems, manage the relationships with finance software suppliers and ensure resilience, backups and contingency plans in relation to finance systems.

About You

You are a qualified accountant (e.g., CCAB or CIMA) with a proven track record in a senior finance role.

•  Practical experience with complex finance databases (e.g., Sage, Oracle, SAP) and, reporting tools.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations and Systems Manager to join our team. As Operations and Systems Manager, you will ensure SMK’s operations are well managed, and make sure that we have all the processes, technology and policies needed to operate effectively. We’re looking for someone to take initiative to improve things where needed and bring their experience from elsewhere to the team.   

The Operations and Systems Manager will work closely with the CEO, Board and staff team of 6, and hold the relationships with our external IT, Accounting and HR providers. You will also play a key role within the organisation in shaping culture and supporting staff to carry out their roles to the best of their abilities.

Flexible and Hybrid Working

Our office base is located in central London. You need to be in the office for a minimum of 1 day per week and further Team Days and Board Away Days. Travel and accommodation for working at our London office is at the job-holders own expense. Expenses incurred for SMK business outside London are covered by the charity.

The 15hours per week can be worked flexibly across Monday to Thursday, with a preference for them to include at least part of Monday and Tuesday to accommodate our weekly team meetings (Monday mornings) and Board Meetings which occur quarterly (Tuesday afternoons)..

Purpose of the Job

The Director of Finance will join the leadership team, contributing to the overall management of the charity and provide strategic oversight across Finance, IT, Health & Safety and Risk management.

Purpose of the post

The Finance Officer plays a crucial role within HDR UK as one of the key points of contact and financial support for the Institute. The role is responsible for managing the financial transactional processes and providing crucial cross-organisational support and troubleshooting via the Finance inbox. The Finance Officer supports with the management of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, from supplier set up through to payment run processing. The role also plays a key part in the running of our finance system, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and our expense system, Continia Expense Management. The Finance Officer is the key point of contact between HDR UK and our external Payroll providers, supporting with timely and accurate preparation and review of the monthly payroll process. Role Overview

The Donor Relations Officer will be responsible for crafting compelling, donor-centred communications that strengthen long-term relationships with partners and supporters, deepen engagement and inspire giving. One of the main areas of responsibility will be to produce proposals and reports for stakeholders, especially strategic partners and donors. The postholder will work closely with the other members of the Marketing and Communications team, as well as collaborating with other departments within the college.  The ideal candidate will have proven experience of producing copy for fundraising and donor relations purposes, and will be a skilled storyteller who can translate the strategic objectives of the college into resonant narratives, understands donor motivations, and writes with clarity, empathy, and purpose.

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising & Stewardship Writing

• Develop persuasive and high-quality copy for multi-channel fundraising campaigns (direct mail, email, website, social media etc.)
• Write impact reports and stewardship letters that convey gratitude and demonstrate impact.
• Create case statements, proposals, and presentations for major donor and foundation audiences.
• Oversee the ongoing use of Donorfy CRM to ensure it functions in a way that optimises ANCC's efficiency and makes full use of its functionality; carry out system integrations as needed.
