Every 20 minutes, someone is killed or seriously injured on UK roads. For families affected, the emotional and practical challenges are immense. As a Caseworker, you will provide direct, trauma-informed care to individuals and families suffering from the sudden bereavement or life-altering injury of a loved one. Working mostly remotely, with home visits to service users, you’ll offer vital emotional and practical support—including helping them access therapeutic resources, financial assistance, and guidance through the complexities of medical and legal processes.
This role is flexible, allowing you to structure your own working pattern within weekdays from 8AM to 6PM. While travel is required, you’ll have control over your diary. The work is challenging but immensely rewarding, requiring resilience, empathy, and a dedication to making a real difference in people’s lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing direct support to road victims and their families in the East Midlands region, following Brake’s trauma-informed model of care.
- Managing a caseload of service users, ensuring their emotional, practical, and advocacy needs are met.
- Undertaking comprehensive needs assessments and creating individualised support plans
- Offering emotional and practical support—this can include helping families access therapeutic resources, financial aid, or even facilitating keepsakes to honour the memory of their loved ones
- Liaising with professionals, including police officers, Family Liaison Officers, mental health services, coroners, GPs, and other support organisations.
- Advocating for victims within medical, legal, and social services to ensure their voices are heard.
- Providing support through multiple channels, including in-person, remote calls, video chats, and messaging, depending on service user preferences.
- Completing safeguarding assessments and escalating concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Lead when needed.
- Maintaining accurate case records in compliance with data protection policies.
- Engaging in external clinical supervision to manage personal resilience and well-being.
- Participating in team meetings, training, and professional development to ensure the highest standard of service delivery.

About the role:
To provide proactive and high-quality administrative support within the Membership Services Team. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, building strong relationships, and offering clear guidance to RDA’s Member Groups, RDA Approved Centres, volunteers, participants, and the general public.
Specific Responsibilities
Member network and external communication with RDA National Office:
- Act as the first point of contact for incoming calls to the RDA National Office, dealing with enquiries professionally and escalating when required.
- Manage shared email inboxes, responding promptly to queries and working with relevant teams to ensure follow-up.
- Monitor enquiries to identify trends and share insights to improve service and communications.
Provision of support to the Membership Services Manager for Membership matters. This will include, but is not limited to:
- Provision of guidance and support via calls and email to groups on operational matters including governance and health and safety (including first aid and risk assessments), directing to appropriate resources and self-service options. Highlight gaps and issues to the wider team.
- Administrative project support for ongoing initiatives and live projects.
- Maintenance and updating of the Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Updating content on our internal network site (MyRDA) to ensure it is accurate and up to date, ensuring groups are signposted to relevant resources.
- Provision of administrative support to the team and wider Operations function, including coordination of training events, courses, and webinars—ensuring delegates are well-informed and receive the necessary resources.
- Supporting annual business-as-usual activities such as mail-outs and assisting member groups with membership fee and insurance processes, as well as the RDA annual returns process.
- Assisting with administrative processes related to the wider team’s operations, including onboarding of new groups and RDA Approved Centres, group closures or incorporations, royal visits, and national RDA events.
- Manage the RDA Group Orders system, including processing and dispatching orders, stock replenishment, liaising with suppliers, and maintaining website listings.
- Support the handling of complaints and concerns in line with the RDA Complaints Policy & Procedure, escalating to relevant team members where appropriate.
Be proactive in communicating with RDA Groups and the wider network by:
- Listening and responding to concerns of groups
- Promoting and celebrating group achievements and milestones
- Clarifying the support provided by RDA National Office to groups
- Visiting groups to observe good practice, and sharing this across the network

The External Affairs Manager will work closely with the Director and provide vital support to NACCOM and its members by:

The heart of our mission is to make music truly inclusive for people with physical impairments and in this role you will be driving forward the development and delivery of adapted musical instruments. It is creative, purposeful work and we are looking for someone who cares deeply about the impact that music can have.
Our team is looking for someone who lives and breathes our passion as much as we do and will put the work (and the miles) into bringing our mission to life. You will do this through:
- Developing a strategic approach in how we can increase the range of instruments and supportive apparatus available, working with instrument makers and technologists where necessary.
- Identifying potential entrants for our OHMI Competition, which is where we challenge developers and instrument makers to adapt or create instruments that can be played without the use of one hand and arm.
- Supporting our OHMI Music-makers, a project that works with partner organisations to bring music lessons to individual students or a whole class by providing adapted instruments.
- Making sure we are communicating with our funders and Board of Trustees about our progress and impact.
And as a key member of the team, you will support us in promoting our great work at various key conferences and workshops.
No two days look the same here at the OHMI Trust, but a week could look like this:
· Arranging meetings with student groups working on instrument related engineering projects.
· Joining an online meeting to develop the strategy for overcoming a specific instrument production challenge.
· Writing an application for funding towards the next instrument/piece of equipment that is needed.
Hours: 18.75 per week, but flexible. Some weekend and evening work will be expected, as circumstances and opportunities require. This post is subject to a 6-month probation period.
Location: flexible within the UK – this is a home/remote working role but there will be travel throughout the UK and there is an advantage in being located within easy commuting distance of the West Midlands, where the rest of the staff are currently based.

This a pivotal role and the post holder will be a member of the Trust’s Senior Management Team, with responsibility for overseeing all aspects of the Trust’s finances, working closely with CEO and Board.

Main responsibilities

Working as the interim Finance Manager will include overseeing the work of Finance Assistant whilst completing all financial reports and financial planning.
Your day to day duties as interim Finance Manager will include;
• Completing monthly management accounts
• Completed budget setting
• Delivering on year end and audit process
• Completing monthly payroll
• Oversee the financial operation
• Reviewing finance policies and procedures to ensure best practice
• Ensuring consistent and efficient cashflow funds
The skills you will bring to this hands on and busy role will include;
• Knowledge of charity accounting including SORP accounting
• Knowledge of restricted and unrestricted income
• Working knowledge of accounting systems such as Sage Line 50
• Previous experience in similar role ideally within the charity sector
