What you’ll be doing…
This is a busy, people-focused role where no two days are quite the same. You’ll be responsible for:
- Support residents to sustain their tenancies, promoting independence and wellbeing.
- Monitor rent accounts, helping to prevent arrears through support and payment plans.
- Manage communal areas including kitchens, lounges, pod lounges, gardens, and patios.
- Attend and contribute to tenancy panel meetings, viewings, and sign-ups.
- Carry out fire equipment and emergency alarm-call testing in line with policy.
- Offer advice and signposting on budgeting, benefits, and debt prevention.
- Ensure Housing Benefit claims are established and evidenced at the start of tenancies.
- Liaise with contractors and the customer contact centre to manage repairs and their quality.
- Record resident interactions and tenancy updates using our CRM system.
- Respond to emergency pull cords and carry out welfare checks when needed.
- Provide reports and input at internal and external meetings.
- Support with recruitment, induction, and supervision of new staff and contractors.

What we’re looking for…

Context and Background
The NSPCC's mission is to end cruelty to children. In order to carry out its charitable work, the NSPCC relies on the fundraising support of people across the UK for 85% of its annual income. Within Fundraising, our aim is to provide maximum resources for the NSPCC and children by working together to create the best possible donor experience by building long-term relationships to create a supporter experience which is different, better and more rewarding than that of supporting any other charity.
The Special Events team focuses on fundraising events as a key part of audience-led fundraising. This department is responsible for supporting volunteer committees in putting on high level fundraising events. Execution needs to be flawless. Job purpose
· To contribute to the Income Generation department’s purpose of maximising income from potential and current supporters through project managing specific events (including securing sponsorship), and providing committee support

We are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience in complex organisations and, ideally, knowledge of the charity or not for profit sector. A commitment to teamwork and supporting parishes is essential.

Role Purpose
The Director of Finance is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, responsible for strategic financial leadership and ensuring the financial sustainability of the Diocese. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership
- Develop and implement a financial strategy aligned with the Diocese’s mission and long-term objectives.

Our partner is seeking a consultant to conduct a review of its finance function, including structure, processes and systems with a view of improving effectiveness and efficiency. This exercise stems from the fact that the finance function of the organisation has developed organically over the course of the organisation’s life and growth, covering the expansion of programmes and the opening of new administrative offices.
Scope of the Review
- Review of the current structure - assess what functions are best delivered in each location, the skillset of finance staff and what capacity is needed in each location to deliver these services.
- Review of the processes and systems; and make recommendations on how processes might be streamlined to address bottlenecks and streamline these.
- Advise on how the finance function might operate more effectively as a global function
- Advise on what IT/systems solutions might further improve efficiency
Requirements
- A qualified senior finance professional with experience of change management within an international not for profit, specifically reviewing the structure of the finance function, undertaking in-depth review and analysis of global processes and systems.
- Experience of working in a complex grant-funded environment with knowledge of full grants cycle management.

Financial Operations Lead | Permanent | London - Hybrid | £43,941 + Benefits
For a well-known UK charity, we're recruiting a Financial Operations Lead on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Financial Operations Lead will oversee all processing and reconciliation of financial transactions, accruals and prepayments, as well as VAT returns, and all day-to-day banking, credit card and investment matters. The Financial Operations Lead is a key role, supporting staff queries, liaising with HR on payroll returns, and supporting the development of robust month-end processes across the team.
What you'll be doing:
- Financial Transactions - support AP processing, and approval of invoices on the AR ledger
- Prepare payroll journals and reconcile all payroll information
- Prepare accruals and prepayments for income and expenditure and support month-end accounts
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and VAT returns
- Support year-end with the preparation of note to the accounts including payroll, banking, fixed assets and investments
- Liaise with bank, investment fund managers and credit card providers
- Support wider teams with finance queries, and financial compliance procedures

Your purpose
