About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Office Manager for The Royal Homes Estate at Queens Alexandra Court. The role involves acting as the first point of contact for queries, managing administrative tasks, supporting meetings and events, maintaining resident files, and overseeing the referral process.

You will also facilitate the use of common and guest rooms, manage communications for potential residents, and collaborate on creating notices and welcome packs.

Additionally, you will provide support for financial enquiries and work with agencies supporting residents to procure goods, event tickets, and services.

This is an opportunity to join the Gaia Centre as a Deputy Service Manager. 

The Deputy Service Manager will manage a team and carry a very small caseload of complex cases when necessary. The post will work closely with victims and survivors of different strands of strands of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG), including domestic abuse and violence (physical, sexual, emotional,  psychological, economic or tech abuse)​​, Sexual Violence (Rape and sexual assault​)​, Stalking and harassment ​, Sexual exploitation ​​(including women working in sex industry and Child Sexual Exploitation)​​, female genital mutilation (FGM)​/cutting , forced marriage​​, So-called ‘honour’-based abuse, provide early identification and offer appropriate care pathways for survivors of all genders, aged 16 years and over and their children, living, working or/and studying in Lambeth at times from the point of crisis. 

The job involves working within a multi-agency framework consisting of the Multiagency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) and local partnership protocols and procedures that prioritise the safety of survivors. Additionally, you will be working with survivors and agencies across Lambeth so will require significant travelling. 

The post holder will empower survivors by providing them with emotional and practical support, thus enabling them to access their rights, make decisions and increase their life options. The post holder will inform survivors of the full range of civil, criminal and practical options that might increase their safety. 

As part of this role, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call rota.

About the Role

This is a dual-role position supporting both the Finance and HR functions of the charity. Finance

Flexibility

Our staff who live in or near London operate on a hybrid model, working in our office within South Bank University (one minute from Elephant and Castle tube station) on Mondays and Tuesdays. Full-time staff work in the office both those days and at home the rest of the week, while part-time staff who live in or near London are required to work in the office on one of those days, and at home for the rest of the week. We also have staff outside London who are fully home-based. We would ideally like the Finance and HR Officer to work in the London office on either Monday or Tuesday (or both if they would prefer that) but we are flexible as to when in the week the remainder of the hours are worked, provided that there is a consistent working pattern each week.

Ascension Community Trust (ACT) is a much-loved community-based charity in Custom
House, Newham. We deliver Newham District Foodbank (a Trussell foodbank run by ACT
and two community partners), welfare benefits advice, immigration advice, ESOL classes,

The Felix Project is London’s largest food redistribution charity. Our vision is a London where good food is never wasted, and no one goes hungry. We aim to reduce the negative impact food waste has on the environment by working with the food industry to rescue high quality surplus produce, that would otherwise have gone to waste. Purpose of the Job

To be the driving force and manager of this new operation, you will join a brand-new operation with the chance to put your stamp on it and drive it forward into the future.

Whilst having the support structure of the wider Felix Production teams and West London Depot Operations team.

You will be the manager of this site and have overall responsibility for its day to day running, it is a hands-on role with most of the working day spent in the kitchen and running the bakery unit. At the beginning of the operation, you will be the only permanent employee there, but this team will expand to add an additional junior baker once fully operational. However, there is the Depot team and the wider production team who will be supporting the day to day as well.

We are a volunteer lead operation so you will have volunteers working alongside you to support the operation.

• In mid-2025 we will open our third production faciality, Felix Bakes. A small operation designed to help us rescue more surplus food and turn it into high value baked goods
• All these goods we make will go back to our brand-new West London Depot, based in the same trading estate and then delivered to some of the 1,200 Community Organisations we support around London 
• A particular focus will be on seasonal produce gluts (carrots, courgettes, potatoes), meaning we can ensure more of this produce does not go to waste and add value to the people we support across London
• It will work in partnership with our second production faciality The Felix Food Factory, which will be able to process and/or freeze some of these seasonal gluts into an easier to use format for Felix Bakes
• We are launching this operation in partnership with Deliveroo, who have gifted us the use of this space.

· The Felix Bakes Kitchen is a unit within a wider “dark” kitchen site, which has onsite support and management of the whole unit.

Duties and Accountabilities

• Be the lead manager of this new operation
• Volunteer and staff management
• Support in the creation and delivery of all required H&S, Food Safety and HACCAP plans
• Working with all internal stake holders across the departments at the Felix Project to maximise the output and impact of the unit

Girlguiding are recruiting two fixed term (9 & 12 month) Member support advisor to work within the Member support team.

As a Member support advisor you will be responsible for providing technical support for Girlguiding’s volunteers and parent/carers using our membership systems and processes. You will provide support through responding to our users over the phone and via our multiple email inboxes. You’ll be joining a fast-paced support team, talking to our inspirational volunteers every day helping them to manage their Guiding records and dealing with both technical challenges, disclosure application queries and information gathering to respond to queries relating to our policies and processes.

The post holders will need to be willing to discuss issues with users and offer training and support via telephone and email. Ideally, they will have experience of call centre phone handling to deal with complex calls including complaints, and knowledge of safe recruitment practices particularly in a young person-centred environment. Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail is essential to this role.

Bipolar UK is the only national charity dedicated to supporting individuals affected by bipolar, including carers and families. We're launching an exciting new lottery-funded project in Northern Ireland to expand our peer support network.

As Senior Volunteer Co-ordinator, you’ll play a central role in growing and supporting our network of local support groups. You’ll recruit, onboard and induct volunteer co-facilitators, ensuring a welcoming, inclusive experience. You’ll supervise and support volunteers, helping them develop skills and confidence to deliver safe, effective peer support—whether online or in-person.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the set-up and running of new support groups across Northern Ireland.
• Providing ongoing training and practical assistance to volunteers.
• Collaborating on the promotion of groups and services with internal teams and external partners.
• Ensuring compliance with safeguarding, GDPR and internal policies.
• Promoting Bipolar UK’s self-management courses and psychoeducation resources.
• Representing the charity within communities and building partnerships with local mental health services.

This is a varied, hands-on role ideal for someone with strong communication skills, experience supporting volunteers, and a passion for peer-led mental health support.

Applicants must be based in Northern Ireland due to the requirments of the role.

Salary: £28,000–£30,000 | Contract: 2-year fixed term (extension subject to funding)
Location: Home-based in Northern Ireland, with occasional travel to London. 
Hours: Full-time (35 hours/week)
Reporting to: Services Manager – Groups
